  • Patent number: 10935056
Abstract: An electromagnetic valve for a hydraulic system for an automatic transmission of a vehicle. An armature chamber is filled with hydraulic medium and fluidically connected to hydraulic lines of the hydraulic system. An armature is mounted in the armature chamber such that its stroke is adjustable. The armature includes a shut-off body and divides the armature chamber into an opening-side chamber facing the flow opening and into an inner chamber facing away from the flow opening. During a stroke of the armature, an oil exchange occurs, and a displacement volume of the hydraulic medium overflows from the opening-side chamber into the inner chamber. A hydraulic line leading to the opening-side chamber or to the inner chamber of the armature chamber includes a dirt collecting element that is designed as a permanent magnet and that retains contaminations in the hydraulic medium that flows through the hydraulic line during an oil exchange.

  • Patent number: 10927965
Abstract: A pilot valve system is controlled by the pressure differential between a lower chamber and an upper chamber. A fluid passageway in the lower chamber fluidly connects an inlet to first and second outlets. By varying the pressure differential, the placement of a stem within the fluid passageway is varied so fluid can flow between the inlet and only one of the first and second outlets at a time. Pressure in the lower chamber can be varied by using a second fluid to exert pressure against a bottom end of the stem. Pressure in the upper chamber is varied by using an adjusting screw to urge a spring against the diaphragm.

  • Patent number: 10900592
Abstract: Disclosed is a method and system for supporting a pipeline in a trench. The disclosure is directed to the placement of urea-silicate sprayable or pumpable foams into trenches to provide pipeline pillow supports during placement of the pipeline and to form trench breakers in the trench prior to the trench being backfilled. The pillow supports and trench breakers inhibit erosion of the trench prior to and after being backfilled. The urea-silicate foam material has an open cell content of at least 50% to resist floatation, is non-flammable and electrically conductive. Also disclosed is use of supports for placement between the urea-silicate foam and the bottom of the trench to aid in utilization of the urea-silicate foams in cold weather conditions and in trenches with steeply sloped bottoms. Preferably the supports are biodegradable and electrically conductive when wet.

  • Patent number: 10871080
Abstract: A steam turbine valve drive apparatus in an embodiment includes a piston, a cylinder, a bidirectional pump, a servo motor, and a quick closing mechanism. The cylinder houses the piston in an inner space thereof, the inner space being partitioned by the piston into a first hydraulic chamber and a second hydraulic chamber. The quick closing mechanism executes a quick closing operation of closing the steam valve unit more quickly than the closing operation. Here, the quick closing mechanism executes the quick closing operation by feeding the working oil accumulated in an accumulator to the second hydraulic chamber and draining the working oil from the first hydraulic chamber.
