Abstract: A system for lifting and supporting a roof including a jack and a pair of jack mounting brackets. One of the mounting brackets is attached to a roof truss and the other of the mounting brackets is attached to a ceiling joist. The jack extends between the mounting brackets, and has reduced diameter ends which are received within enlarged openings in the mounting brackets.

Abstract: An improved, variable height, portable scaffold support that when used in pairs with a conventional board of standard size forms a horizontal working platform. The support has a series of opposing plates that allow insertion of a board at variable working heights. The opposing plates also provide a configuration that fixes the board and support in the correct working position so that the support does not need to be repositioned each time the support system is relocated, even when no auxiliary fasteners are used. The support base is of sufficient size to permit use of the support on a soft surface such as sand or grass.

Abstract: A post hole digger stand for supporting a post hole digger in a manner such that one person can secure a post hole digger to or remove a post hole digger from an appropriately equipped tractor like vehicle. The post hole digger stand includes a base which includes a main rail, a front cross rail and a rear cross rail and two support arms extending upward from the front cross rail. The support arms carry receiving assemblies for supporting the arms of main shaft support of the post hole digger. The support arms are adjustable in length. A driveline pin carried by the first end of the main rail receives the driveline of the post hole digger.

Abstract: A protector for legs of a golf bag that is attached to an outer wall of a golf bag. The protector has recesses for receiving legs and an actuating member for the legs. The legs of the golf bag are pivotally connected at upper ends thereof to the protector. The protector protects the legs of the golf bag against external shock and causes the golf bag to be stably put on a cart.

Abstract: An adaptor for holding over-sized beverage containers for use in cylindrical beverage receptacles found in many vehicles, the adaptor having an enlarged upper portion to receive the beverage containers and a lower portion comprising an insertion base sized to fit within the vehicle beverage receptacle. The lower portion is offset from the upper portion such that the device can be used in circumstances where the vehicle receptacle is mounted too closely to a vertical surface or where a pair of vehicle receptacles have a small separation distance.

Abstract: A clip for securing together a plurality of elongated articles such as hoses or wire bundles has a plurality of separately formed clamps. Each clamp comprises first and second generally arcuate arms connected at their first ends by a V-shaped hinge and movable about the hinge between a circular closed position and an open position wherein the free ends of the arms are parted to allow an article to be placed into or removed from encirclement by the arms. A link member interconnects the hinges of the clamp to maintain the clamps in spaced relationship with one another and includes braces which add stiffness to the hinge and resist flattening of the V shape. The hinges and link member are of uniform cross sectional thickness so that stress concentrations are avoided. The clip is molded in the open position so that during installation it is not necessary to manually spread the arms in order to position them around an article.

Abstract: A workstand for use when servicing heavy tracks or the like, the workstand including opposing curved first and second sides spaced apart from each other and a top support platform extending therebetween. Upper and lower steps extend between the front portions of the curved first and second sides to provide access to the top support platform. The curved first and second sides combine with the top support platform and the steps form a structure having a wheel receiving area therein and having an open backside that provides access to the wheel receiving area. The workstand is constructed to be positioned around a tire of the truck's wheel assembly with the first and second sides immediately adjacent to the frame of the vehicle and the top support platform above the wheel receiving area so as to support a mechanic or the like above the wheel assembly adjacent to the vehicle's engine.

Abstract: A mounting structure for lamps, street lamps and the like comprises a lamp supporting arm, an attachment device for connection of the arm to the structure and means for removably engaging the arm to the attachment device, which attachment device is selectable from a plurality of attachment devices comprising at least one type (3a) for wall fitting (3a) and at least one type (3b) for connection to a columnar post.

Abstract: The present invention provides for a baby bottle adapter for releasable attachment to the bottom of the baby bottle, the adapter being capable of playing a musical melody when activated. The adapter includes a top chamber of a size and shape to accept the bottom of a baby bottle, the top chamber being formed from a side wall and a bottom provided by an internal divider located with the adapter. The adapter also has a bottom chamber located below the top chamber, the bottom chamber being sealed against liquid infiltration and containing means for playing a musical melody upon activation. The bottom chamber is formed from the side wall and the internal divider of the adapter and a base attached to the bottom of the adapter.

Abstract: A product display apparatus that is durable and versatile, and that advantageously displays a product is described. The device has a display support element and a product holder element. The display support element has a display bracket with at least one connection means for attachment to a display area surface, a display arm attached to the display bracket, and a connector. The product holder element has a second connector designed to removably mate with the first connector in different orientations, and a product holder means for supporting a product. A product may be displayed in a number of different orientations depending upon how the first and second connectors are aligned. In addition, the product holder element cradles a product under the force of gravity, which enables a consumer to easily remove and replace a product.

Abstract: A toothbrush holder device comprises a generally cup-shaped support member and a lid member. The support member is provided with at least one aperture traversable by a toothbrush handle and is further provided with a hole spaced from the aperture for enabling drainage of fluid from the support member. The lid member is hinged to the support member so as to be shiftable between a closure position covering the support member and a toothbrush head on the support member and an opened position providing access to the support member and a toothbrush supported thereby.

Abstract: An operable hanger includes a pair of legs connected at their lower ends and generally symmetrically oriented about a vertical central axis. Horizontally oriented tips at the upper ends of the legs will selectively engage a support structure by movement towards one another. A slide bar mounted on the legs is vertically movable to bias the leg tips towards one another when moved downwardly and bias the leg tips away from one another when moved upwardly. A support hook is attached to the slide bar by a chain to support a bird feeder or other object below the hanger.

Abstract: A dish holder for holding a variety of different types of dishes having large and small diameters and large and small depths. The dish holder includes a pair of pivotable fences and a pair of pivot supports that pivotably support the fences along parallel spaced apart axes. Each of the fences has a horizontally disposed base wire and a plurality of V-shaped pins attached to and equally spaced along the base wire. The plurality of pins of one fence are longitudinally offset from the plurality of pins of the other fence such that each pin is generally equally longitudinally spaced from adjacent pins of the other fence. Each of the fences is pivotable between an open position wherein the pins are directed outwardly and upwardly and a closed position wherein the pins form an inverted-V.

Abstract: A heavy duty display hook which supports point of purchase items or packages is insertable into a rectangular slot of a panel, such as a cardboard panel provided with one or more rectangular slots for display hooks. The display hook includes a front plate which is substantially vertically disposed in use and which has an upper end and a lower end and an elongated support member which projects forwardly from and extends upwardly in slightly inclined fashion to the front plate. A bridge extends rearwardly from the front plate, a longitudinal axis of the bridge being located above a longitudinal axis of the support. The bridge extends through the slot in the panel. A rear plate extends upwardly from the bridge. The rear plate is spaced from and is generally parallel to the front plate.

Abstract: The present invention is a computer component securing device. It includes a main housing having a bottom, sidewalls, a front, back and an open top, and at least one cut-out in at least one of the bottom, front, back and sidewalls for passing a table securing device at least partially therethrough; and, a lid having attached thereto a computer securing mechanism for fixedly attaching a computer component thereto. The lid is connected to the main housing so as to have a first, open position whereby a computer component may be attached to the lid and so as to have a second, closed position such that an attached computer component cannot be removed therefrom, but so as to expose the functional aspects of the computer component for utilization by a user when the lid is in its second, closed position.

Abstract: An arrangement for mounting holiday decorations on a smooth surface of a support includes a mounting element that has a bifurcated first end portion forming a first channel for receiving a portion of a garland, and a bifurcated second end portion forming a second channel for receiving a portion of a greeting card. The mounting arrangement further includes a suction cup component constructed to suctionally adhere to the smooth support surface, with the mounting element being connected with the suction cup component.

Abstract: A ladder tray (10) is provided with a generally rectangular tray (11 ) having a panel (12) surrounded by a flange (28) which projects both above and below the panel. Two pairs of slides (31) can slide along the flange (28) at respective ends (15, 16) and the slides (31) carry the upper ends of legs (32) of U-shaped tray supports (26). The slides also include lockable pivot screws (33) which can lock both the legs (32) and the slides (31) against movement and allow bridge portions (25) of the tray supports (26) to bear against a portion of a ladder to which the tray assembly (10) is attached.

Abstract: A wrench rack includes a base having spaced apart rows of arm structures with corresponding pairs of arm structures serving to support a set of wrenches. A flexible biasing member of each arm structure is displaced upon wrench installation in the rack and urges the wrench into frictional engagement with an adjacent arm structure to prevent inadvertent release of the wrench. A flexible biasing member is, in one embodiment, embodied in a span of material while a modified arm structure has a flexible biasing member embodied in a distal end segment of the structure.

Abstract: A container holding assembly for a vehicle including an interior trim panel having an inside surface and an outside surface. Container holding assembly comprises an arcuate support member and a cylindrically-shaped net of flexible material including a top end annular border defining an opening and a bottom end annular border. The net top end annular border is secured to the support member so that the net is adapted to be suspended in a free state from the support member. The support member is constructed from a one-piece wire form, having a substantially circular shape, defining a closed end portion terminating in parallel end portions laterally spaced apart a predetermined dimension. The trim panel includes a pair of holes extending through the trim panel. The holes are laterally spaced apart a dimension equal to the predetermined dimension of the parallel end portions so that the end portions may be inserted therein in a removably retained manner.

Abstract: A plastic bag holding device which includes a pair of hooks and a base having a front surface and a rear surface adapted to abut against a flat surface of a cabinet door. The base is made with a top section thicker than a bottom section to provide a 5.degree. cant from the plane of the cabinet door to the front surface of the device when it is in an abutting relationship with the cabinet door.
