Abstract: An arrangement for providing targeted content includes data repositories storing information from which targeted content may be selected. The data repositories store at least one contextual relationship graph. The arrangement also includes an input/output interface through which a request for targeted content is made. The arrangement further includes a controller that receives the request for targeted content and selects targeted content using the contextual relationship graph. The controller further provides the selected targeted content through the input/output interface.

Abstract: An appointment tracking and dynamic modification system is provided that is associated with an appointment scheduling application. A registered attending client/customer is assigned an appointment with a service provider and appointment data associated with the assigned appointment, including data indicating the location of the appointment and the time of the appointment, is obtained. The physical location and/or status of the registered attending client/customer, and/or service provider, is then monitored to calculate an estimated arrival time, and/or availability, of the registered attending client/customer, and/or service provider, at the appointment time and location.

Abstract: Solutions are provided for assessing and consolidating contractor data in an organization from a plurality of data sources. Contractor data from a plurality of data sources is collected, wherein the data sources comprise existing information systems, surveys and interviews. The collected contractor data is segmented using a decision matrix, wherein the decision matrix comprises a plurality of predefined functional units and a plurality of vendors, roles and experience bands. The segmented contractor data is evaluated for its impact on ongoing business activities in the organization, wherein the evaluation of the segmented contractor data comprises performing at least contractor assessment and application assessment. Further, the evaluated contractor data is consolidated to form at least one logical cluster within a plurality of predefined categories, wherein the predefined categories comprise functional unit, application platform, and technology platform and service type and presented to a user.

Abstract: Methods and systems for providing location assessments are provided. Example embodiments provide a Location Assessment Provider System, which generates and provides assessments of various characteristics of specified locations. In one embodiment, the Location Assessment Provider System receives a specified location, determines a location assessment for the specified location, generates a visual representation of the determined location assessment, and provides the generated visual representation to a client system. Determining a location assessment may be based on geographic-related information about, or associated with, the specified location, such as the presence and location of geographic-related features associated with the specified location. Abstract: Techniques for assessing a resiliency level in an information technology system and architecting the information technology system in accordance with the resiliency level are disclosed. An estimated resiliency level may be estimated from different system characteristics to obtain an estimated resiliency level for the information technology system. The cost and the degree of effort to design for the information technology system may be estimated from the estimated resiliency level. The resiliency level may be further determined from different system factors. Consequently, a specification for a resiliency feature is obtained by accessing a set of resiliency guidelines based on the resiliency level and a technology theme. The resiliency feature may then be applied to the information technology system.

Abstract: A facility includes a location node having a transceiver of wireless signals. It communicates with a central hub and mobile devices in the facility. The nodes are located in a specific location in the facility, and provide data about the movement of the entities in the facility relative to the location. Includes at least one of entry into the location, departure from the location, amount of time spent in the vicinity of the location; and the data being transmitted to the operator in at least one of real time or being for storage and analysis at a later time for use by the operator. There can be a series of location nodes in the facility. The nodes provide data about the movement of the entities in the facility, such data including the travel path of the entities in the facility.

One method includes monitoring loan application data as it is entered into a client application, extracting loan application data from the monitored data in accordance with a first pre-determined criteria, matching the extracted data against supplier products and displaying one or more of the matching supplier products within a client application interface.

Abstract: The discovery cost forecasting system uses incomplete information to generate forecasts of discovery expenses. Models are generated with different levels of granularity depending upon the available facts and user preferences. An expert provides real-time information to improve the accuracy of the predictions. A scenario analysis is generated that evaluates how changes to the parameters of the matter could affect the forecasted cost. An estimate is generated of the degree of advancement of the matter in its lifecycle as part of the cost forecast. The cost associated with each data source and custodian is tracked and reported. A configurable and extensible cost equation is defined. A dashboard user interface is generated to monitor the entire portfolio to extract easy to understand facts, trends, and early warning signs related to discovery cost management.

A database is provided, which contains mapped compliance data components related to regulations, requirements, policies and standards, controls, and assets. Users can specify the weighting of the data components based on the user's business requirements. Manual and automated assessments are used to measure and determine the state of compliance of assets, such as people, processes, and technology. In particular, assessments may be performed on the standards and controls related to people, processes, and technology. Various compliance and risk indices are computed based on the compliance status of the standards and controls. Reports and analysis using the compliance data components and the compliance and risk indices are provided to quantify compliance risks and to assess overall compliance.

Abstract: In one embodiment, a method includes receiving a first activity map. A first mobile client determines first positioning information based on a first position of the first mobile client. The first mobile client generates a second activity map using the first positioning information of the first mobile client as a damping factor for activity in the first activity map. The first mobile client sends the second activity map to a balancing manager. A third activity map is received from the balancing manager. The third activity map is based on the second activity map from the first mobile client and a second activity map from a second mobile client. The second activity map from the second mobile client is generated using second positioning information for a second position of the second mobile client as the damping factor.
