  • Patent number: 12364816
Abstract: Techniques for glucose level management are disclosed. In some examples, the techniques may involve obtaining an estimated protein value for a meal and determining an equivalent carbohydrate value for the meal based on the estimated protein value. In some examples, the techniques may involve obtaining an estimated fat value for a meal and determining, based on the estimated fat value, a glucose absorption rate resulting from consumption of the meal. In some examples, the equivalent carbohydrate value and/or the glucose absorption rate may be used to determine an amount of insulin to deliver to a patient to counteract a glucose level increase caused by consumption of the meal. The techniques may further involve generating an output indicative of the amount of insulin to deliver to the patient to counteract the glucose level increase caused by consumption of the meal.

  • Patent number: 12272439
Abstract: An autonomous tracking system receives a request to administer a patient-specific therapeutic comprising a scanned identifier associated with a labeled dual chamber device (DCD) including a first chamber having one or more lyophilized components, a second chamber having a reconstitution buffer, and a locking mechanism for controlling access to the DCD chambers. A tracking engine queries an administration database based on the scanned identifier to find a notarized ledger associated with the DCD and retrieves a blockchain entry comprising a first distributed ledger transaction identifying the one or more lyophilized components and a digital token associated with an owner of the labeled DCD. After the owner is authenticated, a second distributed transaction is created identifying the one or more lyophilized components as being authorized for administration to the patient. In response, autonomous access to the one or more lyophilized components unlocks the locking mechanism to administer the medication.

  • Patent number: 12237077
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided to electronically generate an Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) 835 transmission to test an EDI 835 processing system. An EDI 835 transmission may include vast amounts of data that are input into the transmission in a unique way. If even one space is off, the EDI 835 transmission will not be correctly processed and may be kicked back by the system. This has serious consequences, as it may result in incorrect or non-recording of a payment on a claim. Unfortunately, most systems are not tested for EDI 835 processing capabilities before going live due to the time intensive nature of generating EDI 835 transmissions for testing. The present application describes one or more innovative ways to electronically generate one or more EDI 835 transmission.

  • Patent number: 12198820
Abstract: A medical information navigation engine (“MINE”) is capable of inferring referral activity not reported into a referral workflow system by utilizing intent-based clustering of medical information. The intent based clustering reconciles received medical data, from a variety of sources, and then clusters the data by applying one or more clustering rules. After the referrals not otherwise reported are inferred, they may be utilized to generate metrics that can be utilized to enhance patient care, and reduce costs. Metrics may be generated for both in-network and out-of-network referrals in order to distinguish differences in reporting activity.
