The pot-shaped base body has a lateral wall enclosing the working axis and a collar which protrudes in a radial direction. The tube-shaped cladding body is disposed on the pot-shaped base body surrounding the lateral wall. A groove is defined between the collar and the tube-shaped cladding body and the seal ring is disposed in the groove.

    Abstract: A buttress applier cartridge assembly includes a buttress assembly and a buttress applier cartridge. The buttress assembly includes a buttress configured to support a staple formed therein as well an adhesive layer for adhering to an end effector. The buttress applier cartridge includes a housing defining a gap extending in a longitudinal direction as well as a platform. The platform extends longitudinally from a proximal portion to a distal portion and is exposed in a transverse direction adjacent to the gap. The proximal and distal portions respectively have a proximal stiffness and a different, distal stiffness in the transverse direction. Thereby, the proximal and distal portions support the buttress assembly thereon to deform with the proximal and distal stiffnesses and provide reactionary forces of at least the predetermined minimum force while receiving the end effector for accommodating various camber orientations of the end effector.

The winding unit is a ring winder having a ring rotating with respect to guiding rolls, positioned on a supporting frame, and arranged on a plane perpendicular to the advance direction of the products. A shelf is provided beneath the winding unit, cantilevered for extending in the advance direction of the products, and connects the feeding conveyor with the winding unit. A vacuum-effect gripping unit is positioned beneath the shelf for gripping the film and carries a cutting unit. The vacuum-effect gripping unit and the cutting unit can be moved alternatingly and selectively from a withdrawn rest position of the shelf to an extended position for gripping and cutting the film.

A second control valve is configured to be activated upon actuation of the trigger. A pharmacist places pharmaceutical products within dispensing trays or canisters to present the pharmaceutical products for picking and placing via the robotic pick-and-place machinery. Once the canister or tray is located adjacent the pick-and-place device, a sensor or imaging unit associated with the pick-and-place device verifies that the pharmaceutical product, the size, shape, and/or color of an expected pharmaceutical product that is to be placed within the packaging material in accordance with patient prescription data stored by a computer associated with the system.
