Abstract: The floor, which became a block, can easily be attached to the designated floor position, so that the reduction of both the construction cost and the construction period are achieved. It is a method of building the plural floors on the part of the boiler cage part, and one floor 13A is built on a lifting frame 18 put on the ground, and the floor 13A and the lifting frame 18 are both jacked up by jacks 14. Subsequently the lifting frame 18 which separated the floor 13A is jacking down and returned to the ground. Plural floors are built for lower floor from upper floor one after another by repeating such a series of steps.
Abstract: An insulation system of a building having a plurality of spaced-apart support members has an insulator with a plurality of ribs are formed thereon. A concave portion of each rib receives one of the support members. A panel covers, and is secured to the support members. An exterior covering element is secured to an exterior side of the panel. A radiant heat barrier is bonded between the insulator and the panel. The insulator defines air ventilation channels between the foam insulator and the panel for venting air from building. An insulator assembly for a building has a sheet of foam insulation with a plurality of channels intermittently formed in the sheet of insulation. Each channel has a concave side and a convex side. The concave side is adapted to receive a support member of the building. A radiant heat barrier is bonded to a surface of the foam insulation.

Abstract: Variable length polypropylene ties are used to form an insulated concrete wall by holding sheet materials in a fixed distance part so concrete can be cast between the two sheet materials.
Abstract: This invention describes a snap-lock interlocking joint which locks a pair of mating construction pieces together by the insertion of a specially shaped tongue into a corresponding groove (having a complimentary shape to the tongue). The invention works well with engineered wood composites such as medium density fiberboard and certain other plastic products, namely free foam cellular plastic. The pieces may be joined together in the complete absence of glue or nails. No clamping is required to provide a strong joint.
Abstract: An apparatus for gripping smooth and/or deformed cylindrical or multiple stranded tendons (rods) commonly used in the Art of Construction, the apparatus comprising a housing (barrel), a plurality of jaws (wedges) within the housing, a tightening device to align the jaws (wedges) and to cause engagement of the jaws (wedges) to the tendon (rod), a tensioning device to properly position the apparatus. The tendon (rod) gripping apparatus includes a first aperture and a second aperture that facilitate passage of a tendon (rod) through the apparatus. The jaw (wedge) cluster comprises a plurality of elongated members, that surround the tendon (rod), are generally wedge shaped and complementary to an inner tapered wall of the housing (barrel).
Abstract: A pipe boot includes a plurality of co-axial hollow cylindrical sections joined by an annular shoulder between successive sections. A first annular bead and a second annular bead surround each tubular section with the first annular bead positioned radially outward of each annular shoulder. The second annular bead is spaced a short distance from the second annular bead leaving an annular trough between them.
Abstract: A building barrier system wherein a portion of the building barrier system can transition between an erect position and a substantially flat position thereby allowing access to the interior of the structure without having to disassemble the building barrier system and associated method.
Abstract: A cladding system for cladding a supporting structure, the cladding system includes two cladding panels each defining a respective substantially laterally extending panel flange. The cladding panels are attachable to the supporting structure in a substantially coplanar and side-by-side relationship relatively to each other. The system also includes a cladding moulding insertable between the first and second cladding panel, the cladding moulding defining a moulding base and two moulding legs each extending from the moulding base substantially opposed to each other, the two moulding legs being angled relatively to the moulding base, each of the moulding legs defining a respective leg edge substantially opposed to the moulding base. The cladding moulding being substantially resiliently deformable between an undeformed configuration and a deformed configuration, the moulding legs being spaced apart from each other by a smaller distance in the deformed configuration than in the undeformed configuration.
Abstract: A strapping system includes a roof assembly including a plurality of receiving channels; each of the plurality of receiving channels is fastened to interconnected roof materials connected to a roof structure. The roof assembly also includes a plurality of roof channels that are connected by the plurality of receiving channels and fastened to the interconnected roof materials. The strapping assembly also includes a plurality of straps for tying down the roof assembly to a corresponding plurality of anchors. The strapping assembly further includes a plurality of tensioning devices. On opposite sides of the building, each of the plurality of straps is fastened to a corresponding ratchet assembly attached to a corresponding anchor of the plurality of anchors, thereby transferring load from the roof assembly to the foundation of the structure during a high wind storm such as a, hurricane, typhoon, cyclone or a tornado.

Abstract: The invention concerns a wind power installation, in particular a wind power installation for the offshore region. The object of the invention is to overcome the previous difficulties and avoid disadvantages, in particular also to allow people to be constantly landed on the installation even when weather is so bad that flying by means of helicopters is no longer possible. A wind power installation comprising an entry and a space in the interior of the wind power installation, in which electrical or electronic components of the wind power installation are disposed, characterized in that provided between the entry of the wind power installation and the internal space in which the electronic components are disposed is a lock which prevents water that enters through the entry and/or salt-bearing or moist air which enters when the entry is opened from passing into the internal space of the installation.
Abstract: A suspended ceiling fixture for hanging items from a suspended ceiling that is adjustable in multiple degrees of freedom includes a body spanning a distance between adjacent frame members of a suspended ceiling. The fixture also includes brackets for hanging the body from the adjacent frame members. Additionally included is a hanger assembly for hanging an item from the fixture, where the hanger assembly is adjustable along the body of the fixture.
