Abstract: A mesmerizing way to create the illusion of enhanced perceived vertical space in a room. A wall-mounted light-emitting panel (1) is placed contiguously flush to a ceiling-mounted reflective panel (2) with a smooth surface, FIG. 1, whereby the light-emitting panel is reflected by the reflective panel, thereby producing the image of a larger object that appears to extend upwards past the ceiling. The image has a magnifying, mesmerizing and comforting effect besides affording savings in construction costs.

The device further includes a first detector configured to detect a first value that varies depending on at least pressure of a first portion above the stage in the chamber, and a controller configured to control a process of forming the film on the substrate based on the first value.
Abstract: Methods, systems and devices related to an electronic candle device having an adjustable height are disclosed. In one example aspect, an electronic candle device includes a flame sheet and a candle body. The candle body includes an upper housing that comprises an opening, a lower housing, an extendable and retractable apparatus coupled to the upper housing and the lower housing, and a motor coupled to the extendable and retractable apparatus. Upon driven by the motor, the extendable and retractable apparatus is configured to pull the upper housing and the lower housing together to at least partially overlap with each other or separate the upper housing and the lower housing such that a height of the electronic candle device is adjustable.
Abstract: A walk-way light system for mobile electronic devices provides pathway illumination during voice communications through a light-emitting diode assembly positioned at the bottom edge of the device and configured to project illumination downward toward the ground surface. The system includes a control circuit providing on, off, and strobe functionality with dual activation capability through both automated phone logic and manual switch control. The system integrates with the device's existing power system and enables simultaneous voice communication and pathway illumination functionality while providing emergency signaling capabilities. The invention addresses the directional incompatibility between optimal phone positioning for conversations and effective ground-level illumination for pedestrian safety.
Abstract: A signal light for vehicles has first and second light sources emitting first and second light beams. An optical waveguide contains an entry section with a light entry surface for the light beams. A focusing surface focuses the light from the light sources in a direction (L) in which the light is guided. A deflection section contains a deflecting surface where all of the light is deflected at a deflection angle. In a waveguide section, the light undergoes total internal reflection at an outer surface of the waveguide section, guiding it in the light guidance direction (L) to a light emission surface on the waveguide section. The light sources are placed such that the beams strike the same light entry surface. The light beams are diffused in relation to one another at a diffusion angle difference (??), and the different diffusions of the beams cancel each other out.
