Abstract: The present invention is an apparatus for releasably constricting one or more objects, and in particular to a restricting blood to an injured appendage comprising an elongate band and capture device that cooperate to form a releasable, adjustable loop. A release lever and a parallel thumb mount are compressed to release the elongate band from the capture device, where the thumb mount is configured to remain fixed while the release lever rotates about a fulcrum bar to disengage a projection that locks the size of the loop.

Abstract: A fastening system that either attaches to existing buttons or attaches directly to an article of clothing are presented. The fastening system has a first portion that attaches to a button hole or a first part of the article and a second portion that attaches to a button or second part of the article. The first portion and second portion detachably attach to each other by a twist-lock, magnetic mechanism, or some other attachment mechanism. Alternatively, the fastening system can be built directly into an article without augmenting an existing button and button-hole fastener.

Abstract: A plastic body includes first and second connector ends coupled together via an elongate tether. A frangible strap can extend from a first to a second point along the longitudinal length of the tether. The length of the frangible strap can be less than the tether length between the first and second points. A metal clip can be non-releasably coupled to the second connector end by being retained within a cage housing. The connector ends can be releasably coupled to each other by cooperating elongate rails, and with the frangible strap in a non-extended configuration with the first and second connector ends non-releasably coupled associated automobile components. The frangible strap can deform or separate as a result of a tensile force acting on the frangible strap as the tether extends when an airbag deploys separating the automobile components and the connector ends.

Abstract: Double bent metal wires having a spring loaded configuration forming clasps, devices, apparatus, systems and methods for easily attaching and detaching ends of jewelry strands together. The opposite end has a hook with a spring catch for closing the hook and allowing the clasp to attach to a loop end of a fishing hook. The spring catch is formed from two legs each having bent ends attached to a base of the hook by a crimp ring to an end of a jewelry strand. To open the loop on the clasp, the spring catch can be pushed away from the hook opening, for attachment to loop ends of a jewelry strand. The clasps can be used with attaching jewelry ends of strands such as necklaces, bracelets, chains, and anklets together.

Abstract: A clamping device for a cable closure system. The clamping device (1) includes a supporting base (2), a pulley (3), operatively associable with a closure cable, and a handle (4), connected integrally to the pulley (3) and manually activatable. The clamping device (1) includes first and second retaining means (5,6) operatively engageable with a toothed surface (331) of the pulley (3) and control means (7), separate from said handle (4). The retaining means (5,6) and the control means (7) are operatively associated with one another so as to be able to obtain a complete release or a controlled release of the clamping tension of the closure cable.

Abstract: An improved one-piece fastener for retaining a loop shank button in the buttonhole of a garment. The fastener is in the form of a planar disk having a solid margin and a central portion within the margin that is notched to define a pair of mutually parallel deflectable legs sized and spaced to permit their partial insertion through the loop shank of the button. The legs of the fastener are contoured to define a detent position in which the loop shank seats to securely attach the fastener to the loop shank and thereby retain the loop shank button in the buttonhole of the garment. One longitudinal end of the fastener margin is provided with an extension or tab by which a user can conveniently grasp the fastener during its installation and removal.

Abstract: Strap fasteners inhibit undesirable adjustment of garment straps, such as bra straps. The strap fasteners may have a clamshell configuration designed to encompass an adjustable portion of a bra strap to prevent movement of the bra strap or prevent movement of an adjustable element of the bra strap. In particular, strap fasteners minimize or prevent movement of a slider that controls the adjustment of a bra strap.

Abstract: A system that transforms the APPLE WATCH®, or a similarly constructed wearable computing device, into a jewelry or wearable accessory that is adaptable to a wide variety of styles. The system includes two pins that are compatible with the device and provide multiple functionalities. The first pin has a bail that effectively turns the device into a pendant or any accessory that is desired, and the second pin has a hinge knuckle onto which other parts—for example a cover, a second bail, or a charm—can attach. When a cover is used, the first pin has the additional functionality of being an attachment point for closure. Both pins maximize unintentional interference with the device and support the device from opposing and/or pulling forces with minimal wear. The pins work in harmony to transform the device into any wearable jewelry the user desires.

Abstract: A buckle with an enhanced efficiency in removing a foreign substance is provided. The buckle includes: a plug; and a socket provided with an insertion opening into which the plug is to be inserted. The socket includes: a pair of front pieces disposed side by side in a width direction intersecting with an insertion direction of the plug; a back piece disposed to face each of the front pieces; and a bottom piece that connects each of the front pieces and the back piece. A slit defined between the pair of front pieces extends in the insertion direction from the insertion opening across the bottom piece and the front pieces of the socket. Due to the presence of the slit, a cross section of the socket intersecting with the insertion direction is in a C-shape.

Abstract: A method of creating a shear across a fastener for a tool collet being attached to a hand tool includes providing a tool collet having a collet body with a peripheral body surface and a collet through opening where the collet body is divided into a first body component and a second body component attachable to each other and where one of the first body component and the second body component has a first radial through aperture extending from the peripheral body surface to the collet through opening, providing a setscrew within the first radial through aperture, inserting a hand tool into the collet through opening, securing the first body component to the second body component, and tightening the setscrew against the hand tool sufficient to cause the first body component and the second body component to slide in opposite directions transversely to the portion of the hand tool.

That trim panel includes at least one mounting post engaging the push pin holder and a resilient retention finger capturing the push pin between the trim panel and the push pin holder.

Abstract: An drawstring clamping device having a first member and a second member. The first member has a first member base, a first tower structure secured to the first member base at a first tower structure first end, and a second tower structure secured to the first member base at a second tower structure first end. The second member has a second member base with an aperture disposed therethrough. The aperture is configured to adjustably engage the first tower structure and the second tower structure.

Abstract: Provided is a clamp for clamping to sheet material, such as tarps. The clamp includes first and second clamping members each having a gripping portion that clamp the sheet material between one another in a clamped position. The first and second clamping members are held in the clamped position by an interaction between radial locking teeth on a deflectable release lever of one of the clamp members and a tooth in a slot of the other clamping member.

Abstract: A buckle includes a female member and a male member. The female member has a cavity and two side openings located on two opposite sides of the female member and connected to the cavity. The male member is partially detachably plugged into the cavity and includes a base part, two engaging parts and a releasing part. The two engaging parts are disposed on the base part. The releasing part is disposed between and connected to the two engaging parts. Each of the engaging parts includes an engaging portion and an arm portion located between and connected to the engaging portion and the base part. When the releasing part is moved with respect to the base part, the engaging portions are moved close to each other by the releasing part so that the two engaging portions are respectively disengaged from the two side openings of the female member.

Abstract: An elongate article holder with a flexible non-magnetic band, along with two terminal ends that may be removably secured to each other, is used to wrap around an elongate article or coils of the elongate article. In various exemplary embodiments, removable coupling of the two terminal ends may be provided by magnet(s), which may be substantially protected from environmental harm while simultaneously helping to achieve optimum magnetic closure strength by using tubular apertures/dimples which may run from a cavity housing the magnet to or near a mating surface of a respective terminal end. Further, the flexible non-magnetic band may have an integral closed loop for removably attaching to the elongate article, operating by passing a portion of the elongate article through a formed orifice that is formed from the integral closed loop.

Abstract: Interlocking hook assemblies for elastic straps include an elastic member 500 including a pair of similar interlocking hook devices 100 connected to each end of elastic member 501. Each interlocking hook device 100, is provided with a connector 300 which is fixedly attached thereon. Each hook device can be connected, preferably in a locking manner, onto the other hook device creating a closed hook assembly thereby disabling the hooks to prevent entanglement of elastic or rigid straps when not in use or during storage and/or transportation. Multiple elastic straps 500 can be connected end-to-end forming an elongated elastic strap of desired length having closed central hooks with open hooks on each end. Interlocking hook assemblies for elastic members include an elastic member with interlocking hook devices 900 including two similar interlocking hook devices 800 with a connector groove 801 and a catch feature 802 and elastic member 811.

Abstract: A fastening strip for touch fasteners is provided which includes a corrugated portion as well as fastening elements. The corrugated portion allows the strip to be bent in a plane perpendicular as well as parallel with the longitudinal axis of the strip such that it may be applied to curved surfaces and remain substantially flat. Fastening elements such as hooks, loops, mushroom-shaped, bulbous and double hooks may be included on both sides of the strip and on the walls of the channels that form the corrugations as well as between the corrugations. The corrugated fastening strips may be useful for automotive seating and diaper applications. Processes for forming the corrugated fastening strip area also disclosed.

The fastening tool is provided with at least a pair of fastening members a and b which have detachably attaching portions that are freely detachably attached to each other, and each of the fastening members a and b has a substrate with a piercing needle formed on one of the surfaces, a bottom plate that is penetrated by the piercing needle, a pierce catch made of a cap-shaped member to cover the tip of the penetrated piercing needle, and detachably attaching portions that are freely detachably engaged with each other.
