Abstract: An improved biasing spring mechanism for the valve poppet of the self-sealing valve disposed in the bag fitment of a beverage dispensing collapsible bag. A singular integrally formed spring mechanism and valve poppet replaces the two-piece embodiment previously employed for the self-sealing valve. A u-shaped channel on the poppet receives the valve seat in the coupling to seal off the flow of liquid when the poppet is pushed into the closed position. A plurality of petaloid segments connect the poppet to a circumferential ring surrounding the petaloid segments and provide a spring force to the poppet to move the poppet between the open and closed positions.

Abstract: In some embodiments, apparatuses and methods are provided herein useful to dispensers. In some embodiments, a dispenser comprises a main body assembly including an outer wall and an inner wall, the inner wall defining an aperture through the main body, a seal, wherein the seal is affixed to the main body and encloses a lower portion of the aperture, a button seated within the aperture and configured to be manipulable between a first position and a second position, and a container housed within the button and configured to store a material, wherein when the button is in the second position the container contacts the seal to allow the material to exit the dispenser.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a frozen soft-serve confection dispensing machine where the soft serve confection is a flavored frozen soft-serve confection having a base selected from ice creams, frozen yogurts, sorbets and gelatos. The dispensing machine comprises one or more base hoppers, each base hopper being linked to a dedicated detachable base cartridge, a dedicated plurality of detachable flavour cartridges containing a flavour mix and a dedicated mixing chamber and storage slot associated with each detachable flavour cartridge. The detachable base cartridge and plurality of flavour cartridges are connected to one of the base hoppers. Control means are provided to enable a user to select a flavour mix from one of the dedicated flavour cartridges, and to cause the base and selected flavour mix to be mixed in the dedicated mixing chamber and then storing and refrigerating the mixture of the base and flavour mix in the storage slots to form a mixed frozen soft-serve confection for dispensing.

One aspect of the invention provides a cosmetic container that includes: a body in which an interior space is formed for holding a content; a body shoulder coupled to an upper part of the body; and a pump coupled to an upper part of the body shoulder, where the body shoulder includes an outer periphery member inserted into the body, an inner periphery member positioned on the inside of the outer periphery member, a placement step formed on an upper part of the inner periphery member, and a pump support protruding downward from the placement step and having the pump inserted through an inside thereof, and where the pump includes a housing inserted through the pump support, and a housing flange configured to rest on the placement step is formed on an outer perimeter of the housing.

Abstract: Disclosed are embodiments of containers having lids configured for dispensing contents from the container. In one embodiment, a lid can include a spout coupled to a spout collar; the lid can further include a link coupling the spout collar to a spout cover. The spout collar and link are configured to rotate the spout cover in a direction opposite a rotation of the spout as the spout initially rotates from a stowed position to an in-use position; as the spout continues to rotate toward the in-use position the spout cover reverses rotation and rotates toward the spout to cover an inners space of the lid previously occupied by the spout. When the spout achieves the in-use position the spout cover covers the space occupied by the spout when the spout is in the stowed position. As the spout is rotated from the in-use position toward the stowed position, the spout collar and the link cause the spout cover to open and rotate away from the spout.

Abstract: Systems and methods for developing a recipe using a network of beverage synthesis devices are disclosed. A disclosed method includes transmitting, from a network architecture, the recipe to at least two beverage synthesis devices in the network of beverage synthesis devices. The recipe is compatible with the network of beverage synthesis devices for synthesis into a beverage. The method further includes receiving, at the network architecture, information from the at least two beverage synthesis devices. The method further includes modifying, subsequent to receiving of the information and using the network architecture, the recipe to produce a modified recipe. The method further includes transmitting, from the network architecture, the modified recipe to the network of beverage synthesis devices. The modified recipe is compatible with the network of beverage synthesis devices for synthesis into a modified beverage.

Abstract: A beverage supplying apparatus that supplies a beverage into a beverage container, includes: an ingredient storage unit to store a beverage ingredient; a compressed gas supplying means to supply compressed gas to the ingredient storage unit and pressurize the beverage ingredient; and a beverage supplying means to, when receiving a supply command, allow the pressurized beverage ingredient to be supplied to a nozzle, and supply compressed nitrogen gas to the nozzle, so that the nitrogen gas and the beverage ingredient are mixed and stirred at the nozzle and the beverage is discharged to the beverage container through the nozzle.

Abstract: A portable fluid dispensing device (system) for mounting upon a human hand and for dispensing a fluid is provided. The device includes a hand-held applicator that includes a pocket that is configured to receive one hand of a user. The pocket partitions the hand-held applicator into a rear portion and a front portion. The rear portion includes a fluid reservoir for holding a fluid that is to be dispensed. The front portion is defined by a foam layer that has a dispensing hole, with the pocket being defined between the rear portion and the foam layer. The device further includes a pump subassembly that is in fluid communication with the fluid reservoir and includes an elongated fluid dispensing outlet that is disposed within the pocket and attached to an inner surface of the foam layer. The fluid dispensing outlet defines a fluid channel and includes an outlet that is aligned with the dispensing hole for delivering the fluid to an outer surface of the foam layer.

Abstract: A pump dispenser has a pump body and a reciprocable plunger with a lock-down mechanism, comprising internal or external lock formations of the plunger and body, such as thread formations, by which the plunger can be locked down for shipping and released subsequently by a rotational release movement. To supplement security for demanding shipping conditions the dispenser also has a supplementary catch mechanism in which respective catch formations of the plunger and body engage selectively in the locked-down position to inhibit the rotational release movement. The catch formations may have circumferentially-directed surfaces which engage between the underside of a plunger head having a shroud and a nozzle and the top of the body beneath the plunger head. They can be released by resilient deformation of one or more of the catch formations.

Abstract: A novel disposable beverage dispenser is provided. The present invention provides a beverage dispenser that allows a user to easily serve several bagged beverages from a single container that is more convenient, presentable and pleasing for use in parties, meetings, and other social gatherings. The invention is particularly suited to serving wine and spirits. The invention presents multiple dispensing pockets and corresponding tap configurations for bagged beverages in a single, easy to carry container.

Abstract: A beverage dispensing system is provided, including a main body having a base portion, and a cradle portion configured to support a beverage container including a beverage to be dispensed. The cradle portion may include an elongated cavity, and a shoulder configured to receive an inverted beverage container. The beverage dispensing system may further include an adaptor, and a self-venting tap, and the adaptor is configured to couple a beverage container to the self-venting tap, such that a beverage may be dispensed through the tap.

Abstract: Consumption safety and quality assurance features for fluid mixture dispensing systems, such as a beverage dispensing device, are disclosed. A disclosed beverage dispensing device includes a final dispense chamber and a dispenser for the final dispense chamber. The beverage dispensing device is configured to mix a beverage and store the beverage in the final dispense chamber prior to a final dispense of the beverage from the beverage dispensing device. The beverage dispensing device is further configured to determine at least one parameter of the beverage. The dispenser is locked if the at least one parameter does not satisfy an expected standard and unlocked if the at least one parameter does satisfy the expected standard. The expected standard can be a safety standard or a quality standard.

Abstract: A measuring device of Chinese medicine granules includes a dispensing tray, a fixed discharging cover, a discharging driving cover, and a discharging anti-blocking structure mounted coaxially. The dispensing tray, the fixed discharging cover, and the discharging driving cover are provided with storage holes, measuring holes, and discharging holes, respectively. The discharging anti-blocking structure includes a bottom case, a briquetting holder, an anti-blocking briquette, a spring, and a cover. The bottom case is fixed on the dispensing tray and offsets from the storage hole. The bottom case is provided with dispensing holes therein positioned corresponding to the discharging holes. Each of the dispensing holes is provided with one anti-blocking briquette therein. The briquetting holder is connected to the anti-blocking briquette and is disposed in the bottom case. The spring is sleeved on the briquetting holder and is in contact with the cover.

Abstract: Liquid dispenser for discharging pharmaceutical liquid having a discharge head and a cap, the cap body of which has a ventilation opening. The dispenser includes an injection-moulded pull-off portion which, in the delivery state, covers the ventilation opening and is connected to the cap body by a substance-to-substance bond. The pull-off portion, together with a tamper-evident portion, which, with the dispenser in the delivery state, prevents removal of the cap body, is part of a common segment which is detachable from the cap body of the cap. Alternatively, the ventilation opening is provided with a filter membrane for filtering the air which flows through it, and the cap body includes two part-bodies which together form a receiving space for the filter membrane.

Abstract: A dual purpose food packaging refill and waste receptacle is disclosed. The receptacle is substantially impervious to passage of oxygen and water, thus, preserving freshness of snack foods, such as sunflower seeds or nuts. The receptacle includes a food grade bag affixed to pliable or semi-rigid cylinder that may be sealed at the opening. Once the receptacle is opened and the contents extracted, such as being emptied into a separate container, the packaging serves as a receptacle for residual material that is inedible or otherwise disposable by the consumer.

Abstract: A squeezer and fluid discharge system and method are disclosed. The fluid discharge system includes a container, a liner bag, a squeezing device and a driving device, the liner bag is installed in the container, and the driving device is connected to the squeezing device and used to drive the squeezing device. The squeezing device comprises at least two rollers, and the liner bag is formed by welding a front panel and a rear panel and is provided with a discharge port which is arranged adjacent to the weld line at the bottom of the liner bag.

Abstract: An automated beverage dispenser include a metering manifold that contains a pair of mating manifold blocks forming as a generally rectangular cuboid element forming a minimized volume manifold block. A fluid conduit system, a sensor control system and a valve and actuator system are incorporated in and on the minimized volume manifold block. The fluid conduit system comprises a series of linear, interacting fluid channels including a central linear conduit containing a magnetic piston and forming an operative portion of a metering mechanism for providing a metered discharge of beer or beverage between the bulk storage and a tap or spigot in a manner that provides for a beverage specific controlled metered pour into a beverage container.
