Abstract: A roof assembly mounted on a composite box structure with an air plenum assembly attached to and extending from an interior surface of the roof assembly. The composite box structure includes a pair of end wall assemblies, a pair of side wall assemblies, a floor assembly and the roof assembly. An opening may be formed in one end of the end wall assemblies to allow installing a temperature control system. An airflow management system may be incorporated into the composite box structure. The composite box structure may be assembled on a railway car underframe to form a temperature controlled railway car or an insulated box car.

Abstract: A railway tie insertion system includes a guide plate having an easily adjustable height, and in many embodiments including a pair of side guides. The tie plate extends for substantially the entire distance between the rails, thereby minimizing the escape of ballast. During insertion of a tie, the tie guide plate and associated side guides provide guide surfaces along three sides of the inserted tie, thereby ensuring that the tie is inserted perpendicular to the pair of rails.
Abstract: The present invention relates to a link tilt device for a tilting cross-member suitable for being disposed in a bogie frame in such a manner as to be suspended from the bogie frame by means of the links, secondary suspensions being disposed between the tilting cross-member and the vehicle body, wherein the middle cross-members of the bogie frame, the links, and the tilting cross-member form an assembly such that the angular stiffness between the bogie frame and said vehicle body is a characteristic that is predetermined.
