Abstract: A ligature attachment device for use with a ligature is provided, the ligature attachment device having a proximal section comprising a loop retainer section, a distal section comprising a tool section, a central section comprising a central ligature spool section having a centrally located cinch aperture and the central ligature spool section is coupled to the loop retainer section and the tool section. The loop retainer section having a loop retainer profile configured to retain a loop of the ligature frictionally engaged with the central ligature spool section. The cinch aperture having an aperture shape configured to allow at least two sections of a ligature to be removably retained in the cinch aperture whereby the cinch aperture can removably retain the loop of the ligature. The tool section having a first tool for removably joining a second tool.
Abstract: A clasp having a bushing and two hooks that face each other. Each hook has a bend, a shank, a sleeve that is rotatably coupled to the bushing, and ridges and grooves that engage with ridges and grooves on the other hook to latch the clasp in various positions. The bends contact each other along a plane of contact. The sleeve and bend of each hook are disposed on opposite sides of the plane of contact to bias the ridges and grooves towards each other.
Abstract: A connector assembly for a leash system including a connector and a connector receiver. The connector includes a first connector end that has a connector end center. The connector receiver includes a first gate that moves between a locked and an unlocked position. The first gate defines at least a portion of a connector cavity, with the connector cavity selectively receiving the first connector end when the first gate is in the unlocked position. The connector cavity also has a cavity center, with the cavity center and the connector end center being substantially identical when the first connector end is received by the connector cavity. The connector receiver further includes a receiver actuator that is coupled to the first gate. The receiver actuator can move in a first direction and a second direction, wherein moving the receiver actuator in the second direction moves the first gate to the unlocked position.
Abstract: A swivel snaphook has a hook and a retainer. The retainer has a support portion and a strap mounting portion. The support portion has a base body connected to the strap mounting portion, a through hole passing through the base body, and a snap-in portion protruding from the surface of the base body and surrounding the through hole. The hook has a hook and connector portion and an engaging portion. The engaging portion has a connecting shaft connected to the hook and connector portion, and a snap-on portion. When the hook and the retainer are snap-fitted together, the snap-on portion surrounds the snap-in portion and fits with the snap-in portion in an inverted manner.
