Abstract: A belt adjusting and holding device includes: a device body including a belt insertion part allowing insertion of a belt and an opening section communicating with the belt insertion part; and a belt folding member including a grasping part and a folding-back part to fold back the belt within the opening section. The belt folding-back member is configured to move forward and backward within the device body. Standing wall portions rising in a stepped shape are formed on the upper and lower inner wall surfaces of the belt insertion part. The belt folding-back member is formed with a protrusion, which substantially stepwisely bends the belt between the protrusions and the standing wall portions at a backward position of the belt folding-back member and release the belt at a forward position of the belt folding member.

Abstract: A chain binder to connect and apply tension to chains, straps, or the like used to secure cargo on any type of platform or vehicle. The chain binder includes a lever body; a first side portion; a second side portion; and gears that effectuate two modes of operation. Namely, a power driven mode of operation or a manual lever mode of operation. Rotations of the gears causes hooks or connectors, via movement of eye-bolts, toward each other to place tension in the chains or strap. Opposite rotations of the gears causes hooks or connectors, via movement of eye-bolts, away from each other to relax the chains or strap. If components are damages during use, they may be replaced on an as-needed basis to reduce operational cost of the chain binder since the entire binder does not need replaced when only one component fails or is damaged.

Abstract: Various embodiments are directed to safety device connector apparatuses for use with a wearable safety harness. A safety device connector apparatus may comprise a base portion operable to attach to a strap of the wearable safety harness, the base portion comprising a base attachment pin fixedly secured thereto; a connector element configured to be detachably coupled to the base portion via a connector element detachable base interface comprising a connector interface opening and configured to engage the base attachment pin, wherein engaging the base attachment pin comprises receiving the base attachment pin within the connector interface opening; wherein the connector interface opening comprises an angled notch configuration configured to facilitate a movement of the base attachment pin relative to the connector interface opening; and wherein the connector element is configured to detach from the base portion based at least in part on a load force acting on the connector element.

Each of the mounting clamp bases includes a clamp base web including through holes longitudinally aligned along the web; domed uptakes radially extending from the clamp base web, where the domed uptakes separate the clamp base web from opposing longitudinally extending channels each formed from an associated channel base surface, an associated channel sidewall and channel top surface; opposing upright fingers extend from the channel top surfaces in a direction perpendicular to the clamp base web surface, where each of the upright fingers includes one or more serrated edges on each of its longitudinal sidewalls; and chamfered mounting clamp base protuberances that extend from the clamp base web.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides an electronic apparatus and a wearable apparatus. The electronic apparatus may include a housing assembly and an electronic component. The housing assembly is configured to connect with a connector, and includes a housing and an engaging member. The housing defines a mounting groove. The engaging member is arranged in the mounting groove and capable of moving relative to the housing to engage with the connector or disengage the connector. The electronic component is disposed in the housing. The housing defines a sink. The housing assembly further includes a baffle mounted in the sink, and the baffle defines a through hole being configured to let the connector pass therethrough.

Abstract: A quick release buckle includes a housing defining a first opening therethrough and includes an engaging surface disposed adjacent to the first opening. A webbing is received through the first opening of the housing. A first pawl and a second pawl are pivotally mounted to the housing. A catch is at least partially received between the first pawl and the second pawl. A first pawl biasing member and a second pawl biasing member are engaged with the first pawl and the second pawl, respectively, and are configured to bias the first pawl and the second pawl into engagement with the catch. A bar is slidably received within the housing and extends across the first opening. A first bar biasing member and a second bar biasing member are configured to bias the bar toward the engaging surface, such that the webbing is gripped between the bar and the engaging surface.

Abstract: A packaging arrangement for a wearable ornament, such as a pin-backed figurine that is supplied with a loop backer enabling the figurine to be coupled with a rope or chain, includes a post for display of the figurine using with the loop backer when not being worn. The figurine on the post may be snapped into a base, the base having a base top and base bottom that are separable from one another. A transparent cover encloses the figurine on the post atop the base, with a backing held in place behind the figurine in the packaging by retention tabs proximate to top corners of the transparent cover, by alignment ridges of the base top and by support posts inside the base bottom. The figurine may therefore be worn either through being pinned or on a rope or chain, or may be displayed either on just the post or on the post atop the base.

Abstract: Slide fastener includes a pair of waterproof stringers including a pair of woven and/or knitted fastener tapes, a pair of coil elements respectively secured to opposing side-edge portions of the pair of fastener tapes, and waterproof films respectively overlaid via adhesives on tape top surfaces of the fastener tapes of the pair of fastener tapes, and a slider that moves forward to engage the pair of coil elements and moves rearward to disengage the pair of coil elements. The adhesive penetrates into a structure of the fastener tape such that the waterproof film and the fastener tape are in direct contact at least partially.

Abstract: Reel devices, systems, and related methods are disclosed. The reel devices are modular and include an automatic shift assembly that shifts to provide a mechanical advantage when used to tighten a cord. For instance, the reel devices are configured to provide a first drive ratio and automatically transition to a second drive ratio in response to a torque force. The reel devices include a drive assembly and a shift assembly. The drive assembly includes a cycloidal gear.

Abstract: An apparatus, including: a main body (302) including at least one passage (320A, 320B) configured to pass a first cord section and an adjacent second cord section therethrough; and at least one cord lock (322A, 322B). When neither the first cord section nor the second cord section is disposed in the at least one cord lock, the main body is free to move along the first cord section and the second cord section which are disposed in the at least one passage. When the first cord section and the second cord section are disposed in the at least one cord lock the main body is not free to move along the first cord section and the second cord section. The first cord section and the second cord section can be selective moved into an out of the at least one cord lock.

Abstract: A rope edge protector for protecting a rope as it passes over an edge during rope access and rope rescue is described. The rope edge protector has a body with a curved channel portion on an outer surface thereof that is configured to receive at least one rope along a length of the channel portion. The body has a first underside surface that is configured for placement on a first face of the edge and a second underside surface forming a dihedral angle with the first underside surface and that is configured for placement on a second face of the edge. An attachment mechanism having a strap may connect the body to a second body and may have a cam for tensioning the strap between the bodies to secure the bodies to opposing edges.

Abstract: A fastening member with a plurality of fastening portions includes two or more fastening portions. The fastening portions are configured to be connected to a first object or to be connected to a second object, and have the same or different fastening connection directions or the same or different fastening connection positions. Thus, the fastening member may be disposed at a third object, and be connected to the first object and the second object by the fastening portions, respectively, so as to complete coupling and separation of at three objects, achieving the effect of repeated quick coupling and separation.

Abstract: A size adjustment system enables a wearer to adjust the size of an article of clothing such as a hat, to obtain a desired personalized fit. Exemplary arrangements include releasably engageable first and second pieces that are respectively attached to disposed portions of the article of clothing. A first piece includes a manually deformable body including a projection, and a second piece includes a plurality of projections or recesses extending along a surface thereof that are engageable with the projection. In an undeformed condition of the body the projection is engaged with one of the projections or recesses and the first and second pieces are held in fixed relative positions. Manual deformation of the body causes the projection to disengage from the projection or recess, and the first and second pieces are relatively movable until the body is returned to the undeformed condition, and the pieces are again held in fixed positions.

Abstract: A fastening system for a zipper is disclosed which includes locking or interlocking first and second zipper pull tabs. A first zipper pull tab comprises a first base, a hook extending from the first base, and a moveable gate coupled to the first base. A second zipper pull tab comprises a second base, a cover coupled to the second base, and a post extending between the second base and the cover. For interlocking, the moveable gate and hook are further coupled around the post to provide the interlocking configuration of the first and second zipper pull tabs. The first zipper pull tab may be utilized separately from the second zipper pull tab, such as to lock to a coupling ring or another component of a carrying bag.
