  • Patent number: 11279194
Abstract: A damper with a main damper assembly includes a damper tube with a damping fluid. A main working piston divides a main fluid chamber into a piston rod side and a non-piston rod side. The main fluid chamber has an upper zone, a lower zone and a mid-zone. A secondary damper assembly with a secondary working piston is in fluid communication with the main damper assembly. When the main working piston travels in the mid-zone, fluid is caused to pass through the main working piston and the secondary working piston to generate a first damping force and when the main working piston travels in either of the upper and lower zone, fluid is caused to pass only through the main working piston to generate a second damping force, wherein the first damping force is less than the second damping force.

  • Patent number: 11274697
Abstract: Collapsible discs move towards or away from each other in embodiments of the disclosed technology by changing the angle of flanges which connect the two discs together. The flanges connect to each respective disc by way of one a fixed connection to one disc and a slidable connection to the other. The flanges slide into portals in the bottom disc and then extend along and into a hollow space therein the bottom disc. The flanges have a tip or multiple tips which is/are wider than a rest of an elongated length thereof which frictionally holds the flanges, and therefore, the discs in places until the discs are rotated causing the flanges to be pulled out from or pushed into the portals. This, in turn, causes the discs to move closer together or become further apart in embodiments of the disclosed technology.

  • Patent number: 11255390
Abstract: A brake caliper is fastened to a stationary brake carrier by two fastening elements such that the caliper can slide axially relative to the brake disc. The fastening elements each have a guide bar fixedly connected to the brake carrier, of which guide bars, one guide bar is guided as a fixed bearing and the other guide bar is guided in a plain bearing, which is designed as a floating bearing having a floating bearing axis. The floating bearing has a guide bush, which reaches around the guide bar and is retained in a caliper bore such that sliding is prevented. A first tubular, variable-length seal is arranged on the end region of the guide bar far from the brake disc, which seals the guide bar from the environment and is fastened on the guide bar and in the guide bush. The first tubular, variable-length seal is clamped on the guide bar by a cap pressed into the guide bar.

  • Patent number: 11247650
Abstract: A brake device for a hydraulic motor vehicle brake system, having a housing, at least one pressure chamber arranged in the housing, filled with a hydraulic pressure medium and bounded by at least one cylinder piston moveable in an axial direction to generate brake pressure. The cylinder piston can be activated mechanically with an activation force by an activation rod unit which is secured to the cylinder piston. In order to provide an improved brake device which is of the generic type mentioned at the beginning and permit a secure connection between the activation rod and the cylinder piston and at the same time mounting which is as easy as possible, it is proposed that the activation rod unit is secured to the cylinder piston by a latching connection, wherein the latching connection is brought about by an axial relative movement between the activation rod unit and the cylinder piston.

  • Patent number: 11247652
Abstract: Provided is a non-excitation operable electromagnetic brake that includes a manually operable rotary cam for switching over a rotor to a brake releasing state, but that allows easy recognition of switchover to the brake released state via an operation reaction force and that also allows reliable keeping of the rotary cam under its acting state. Even when an electromagnet is under a non-excited state, when a rotary cam is rotatably operated to an acting position, an acting portion of the rotary cam slidably operates a rotor via a releasing plate to a brake releasing state against springs. The acting portion of the rotary cam is formed linear along a tangent at a center of the acting portion with respect to a rotary cam rotational direction.
