Abstract: Bis-(pentaerythritol phosphate) phosphoric acid is prepared by mechanochemical synthesis including ball milling a mixture containing P2O5, pentaerythritol, an alkyl benzene having one or two C1-C5 alkyl groups, and a metal halide catalyst, in a ball mill as a reactor and at a temperature of room temperature to 150° C. Melamine is then reacted with the resulting bis-(pentaerythritol phosphate) phosphoric acid to form a product of melamine salt thereof.

Abstract: Quinolylmethylen-oxindole derivatives having general formula (I), wherein R is H or --(CH.sub.2).sub.n --COR.sub.7 group in which n is an integer of 1 to 4 and R.sub.7 is hydroxy, amino, C.sub.1 -C.sub.6 alkoxy or --NR.sub.5 R.sub.6 in which one of R.sub.5 and R.sub.6 is hydrogen or C.sub.1 -C.sub.6 alkyl and the other is C.sub.1 -C.sub.6 alkyl or R.sub.5 and R.sub.6 taken together with the N atom to which they are linked form a 5 to 7 membered saturated heteromonocycle or R.sub.7 is a N-terminally linked peptidyl residue containing from 1 to 3 aminoacids in which the terminal carboxyl group may be present as such, as amide, as alkali metal salt or as a C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 alkyl ester, one or two of R.sub.1, R.sub.2, R.sub.3 and R.sub.4, which may be the same or different, are selected from: a) --X--(CH.sub.2).sub.m --NH.sub.2, --X--(CH.sub.2).sub.m --NR.sub.5 R.sub.6 or --X--(CH.sub.2).sub.m --NHR.sub.8 group; b) --NH--C(.dbd.NH)--NR.sub.5 R.sub.6, --NH--C(.dbd.NH)--NHR.sub.8, --N.dbd.CH--NH.sub.2, --N.dbd.
Abstract: A class of substituted morpholine derivatives of formula ##STR1## wherein Y represents an optionally substituted bicyclic heteroaromatic ring system containing one or two nitrogen atoms, the ring system comprising a six-membered aromatic or heteroaromatic ring fused to a five- or six-membered heteroaromatic ring; and Z represents an optionally substituted arylalkyl, aryloxymethyl or arylalkoxymethyl group, are ligands for dopamine receptor subtypes within the body and are therefore useful in the treatment and/or prevention of disorders of the dopamine system, in particular schizophrenia.
Abstract: An aromatic carboxylic acid compound of the following formula: ##STR1## wherein R.sup.1 is a C.sub.1 -C.sub.6 alkyl group, each of X.sup.1 and X.sup.2 is independently a C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 alkyl group, m is an integer of 0 or 1, and n is an integer of 0, 1 or 2, or a salt thereof.
Abstract: Benzimidazoles of the formula ##STR1## where n and q are each 1 or 2, the radicals R are each hydrogen, chlorine or methyl,L is a bridge member and An.sup..crclbar. is one equivalent of an anion, are used as charge stabilizers in electrostatic toners.
