  • Patent number: 11240951
Abstract: Provided is a method for allocating assemblies to placement lines for placing components on the assemblies, wherein an expected production time is determined for each assembly type of the assemblies to be provided with components and for each placement line, taking into consideration each cycle time for the assembly type on the placement line and the expected number of pieces to be produced for each assembly type. The actual number of pieces to be produced arises according to a predeterminable probability distribution, wherein the possible allocations of assemblies to the placement lines are restricted by the existing infrastructure and/or by user defined specifications, and the allocation of the assemblies to the placement lines is calculated by means of an optimization method.

  • Patent number: 11237532
Abstract: A hysteresis compensation systems and methods. Hysteresis compensation is provided using a known response curve for each of a plurality of different state conditions. In response to determining that a state transition has occurred (i.e., from one response curve to another), the system generates a transition response curve extending from an origin point on a first response curve to an end point on a second response curve based at least in part on a known or determined difference between the input value of the origin point and the input value for the end point. In some embodiments, this difference is determined experimentally and, in others, it is estimated based on measured feedback. Hysteresis compensation is then provided by identifying an input value on the transition response curve that corresponds to a target system output value for the received indicated input value (e.g., as defined by a reference curve).

  • Patent number: 11221602
Abstract: Simulation of process control environments, including dynamic properties, with a modified first-order Taylor series expansion. By using more linear calculations, a physical dynamic property is approximated in less time and with fewer computing resources. By adjusting the approximation to introduce curvature, a physical dynamic property is represented over a wider range than with basic linear series expansions. A comparison to a basic linear first-order series expansion identifies conditions when a rigorous update of a dynamic property is needed.
