  • Patent number: 8624460
Abstract: MP-T II Machines are alternating current, two, three, or four or more phase machines of the multipolar type, i.e. machines whose torque is produced in a cylindrical current tube through axially oriented current flow in a plurality of turns between pairs of parallel permanent magnet poles attached to cylindrical concentric magnet tubes. Unlike MP-T machines, MP-T II machines use flat permanent magnets and may contain cooling cuffs as needed.

  • Patent number: 8624450
Abstract: A linear vibration device is disclosed. The linear vibration device includes a housing, a plurality of elastic members received in the housing, each of the elastic member has a fastening portion connecting to the housing, an elastic arm extending from the fastening portion, and a mounting portion extending from the elastic arm, a moving unit suspended in the housing by the elastic members, a coil located below the moving unit, a supporting portion coupling to the elastic member, the supporting portion has a supporting plate covering at least a part of a top surface of the moving unit and a supporting arm extending downwardly from the supporting plate for pushing the mounting portion toward the positioning portion of the moving unit, the mounting portion has a fender defining a top part above the top surface of the moving unit for restricting the position of the supporting plate.

  • Patent number: 8552609
Abstract: A synchronous motor which has reduced torque ripple while having a high torque includes a rotor and a stator, and U-phase coils, V-phase coils, and W phase coils are wound around sections of the yoke each located between two adjacent stator teeth. The number of turns in each coil and the direction in which each coil is wound are set to compensate for a difference between a timing at which a magnetic field produced at each stator tooth is at a maximum value and a timing at which a point between magnetic poles passes by the stator tooth as the rotor rotates, the difference in timing being caused by a difference between the interval between the magnetic poles and the interval between the stator teeth.

  • Patent number: 8536743
Abstract: A rotating electrical machine configured with a rotor and stator. The rotor is rotatably supported radially inside of a stator that has coil end portions on both sides in an axial direction, and which is structured so that oil is supplied from an axial first direction side to the coil end portions on the both sides in the axial direction. A communication oil passage provided in at least one of the rotor and the rotor support member, is configured to communicate with a first opening and a second opening from an oil collecting portion. The first opening opens radially inside the coil end portion on the axial first direction side, and the second opening opens radially inside the coil end portion on an axial second direction side, which is the other side in the axial direction of the rotor.
