  • Patent number: 10799632
Abstract: A system and method that identifies delayed infusion programs at an infusion pump or with a first computer and an infusion pump. The first computer receives an infusion auto-program from a remote source, transmits the infusion auto-program to the infusion pump, and sends a stale auto-program to the infusion pump. The infusion pump receives a manual infusion program, saves and executes the manual infusion program, and compares the stale auto-program to the manual infusion program to identify potential matches between the stale auto-program and the manual infusion program. The infusion pump evaluates the potential matches and determines if the potential matches are within a predefined tolerance, continues to execute the at least one manual infusion program on the infusion pump if the potential matches are within the predefined tolerance, and remotely saves differences in the manual infusion program and the at stale auto-program in a remote server for later analysis.

  • Patent number: 10782666
Abstract: A facility employing systems, methods, and/or techniques for dynamically and adaptively configuring configurable energy consuming and producing devices (e.g., smart energy devices) based on user profiles and user presence information is disclosed. In some embodiments, the facility periodically detects the presence of users, and retrieves preference information for those users. For each of one or more configurable energy devices in the area, the facility generates a combined setting based on the preferences of each user present and adjusts the devices based on the combined settings. For example, if User A, User B, and User C are present in a room and User A's preferred temperature setting is 75° F., User B's preferred temperature setting is 68° F., and User C's preferred temperature setting is 70° F., the facility may generate a combined setting for a thermostat by taking the average value of the users in the room.

  • Patent number: 10768585
Abstract: A control system controls a machine according to a control policy parameterized on a lifted state space of the machine having an unknown onto mapping to a state space of the machine. The control system accepts measurements of state variables that form a portion of the state of the machine and determines a derivative of at least one measured state variable using values of the state variable measured for multiple time instances, such that a combination of the measured state variables and the derivative of the at least one measured state variable defines the lifted state for the time instance. The control system updates the control policy by evaluating a value function of the control policy using the lifted states, such that a control input to the machine is determined using the lifted state and the updated control policy.
