  • Patent number: 9407554
Abstract: The present solution is related to a method for distributing flows of network traffic across a plurality of packet processing engines executing on a corresponding core of a multi-core device. The method includes receiving, by a multi-core device intermediary to clients and servers, a packet of a first flow of network traffic between a client and server. The method also includes assigning, by a flow distributor of the multi-core device, the first flow of network traffic to a first core executing a packet processing engine and distributing the packet to this core. The flow distributor may distribute packets of another or second flow of traffic between another client and server to a second core executing a second packet processing engine. When a packet for the flow of traffic assigned to the first core is received, such as a third packet, the flow distributor distributes this packet to the first core.

  • Patent number: 9398449
Abstract: A Secure Location Session Manager (SLSM) is an intelligent router for open mobile alliance (OMA) Secure User Plane Location (SUPL) Version 1.0 (and later) messages best implemented when multiple, geo-diverse SUPL servers are deployed in a distributed environment, such as an active-active redundant configuration within a wireless carrier's network. In a standalone option, the SLSM acts as a “middleman” for all SUPL positioning messages between a mobile device and a responsible SUPL server. In an embedded option, the SLSM resides within an existing server. The SLSM manages and stores session information for all pending and ongoing SUPL positioning sessions in internal tables for routing and load balancing purposes. The external interfaces of the SLSM consist of OMA ULP messages.

  • Patent number: 9398479
Abstract: A physical network address of one of a set of wireless customer-premise monitoring devices is translated to a shared logical device physical network address in response to receipt from an application server of a first data packet addressed to the physical network address. The shared logical device physical network address forms a logical device group and physically addresses each of the set of wireless customer-premise monitoring devices over a single wireless communication channel. The physical network address of the one of the set of wireless customer-premise monitoring devices is embedded within the first data packet addressed to the shared logical device physical network address. The first data packet is sent to the shared logical device physical network address.

  • Patent number: 9369234
Abstract: Techniques for reporting channel state information (CSI) in a multi-carrier wireless communication system are disclosed. In some examples, a user equipment determines a configuration for reporting CSI for each component carrier (CC) in a plurality of component carriers. For a first subframe, the user equipment determines a priority for transmitting CSI associated with the plurality of CCs based at least in part on the configuration. The user equipment sends, in the first subframe, a CSI report including the prioritized CSI. The CSI report can include CSI for a single CC, or CSI for multiple CCs. For multi-CC reporting of CSI, the user equipment can multiplex CSI reports or CSI elements for the plurality of CCs up to an available payload size.

  • Patent number: 9301271
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to the technical field of LTE-A, and discloses a method for air interface synchronization between base stations. A base station to be synchronized, which simultaneously monitors a plurality of neighboring base stations, can select one neighboring base station to perform time-service synchronization in accordance with different criteria in order, such as whether CoMP is necessary, the time-service hop count, time-service delay, and the CQI level (channel quality indicator) and the like. That is, the most suitable synchronization source is determined according to a certain priority order. Such solution both applies to a phase of initial establishment of air interface self-synchronization between base stations, and also to a phase of periodic synchronization maintenance. In addition, the technical effect of such solution is particularly prominent in the case of intensively arranged Small Cells.
