  • Patent number: 11098528
Abstract: A tensioner for use with an architectural-structure covering including an operating element (e.g., a cord, a chain, or the like) is disclosed. The tensioner selectively securing a position of the operating element relative to the tensioner. In one embodiment, the tensioner includes a body, a slider, a bearing, and an optional biasing member. The body may include a first body member coupled to a second body member. The slider is movably positioned within the body between first and second positions to selectively enable movement of the operating element relative to the tensioner. The bearing includes a projection for coupling to the second body member to prevent the second body member from being decoupled from the first body member. In this manner, when the bearing is enclosed within the body, a user cannot readily open the body (e.g., a user cannot readily separate the first and second body members).

  • Patent number: 11096450
Abstract: A lace lock system. The lace lock system is mountable to footwear and includes a latch having an aperture that receives a lace guide and is affixed to a cam. The lace guide is pivotally affixed to the cam and has a channel that receives a lace through the aperture. The lace lock is designed to transition between an open position and a locked position. In the locked position, the lace is tensioned to align a distal end of the cam within the channel of the lace guide, such that the distal end of the cam frictionally bears against the lace disposed in the channel. In the open position, the latch is rotated towards a first end of the lock, causing the distal end of the cam to misalign with the channel of the lace guide and release tension of the lace disposed in the channel.

  • Patent number: 11089843
Abstract: A buckle has a main body, a strap retaining bar connected to the main body, two locking legs formed as separate pieces from the main body and pivotably connected to the main body; and a spring disposed between the two locking legs. The spring is attached to both of the locking legs, and exerts a force against the locking legs when they are pressed inward toward each other. The spring keeps the locking legs in an outwardly tensioned position, but does not let the legs flex outwardly in an unlimited manner, since the spring is directly connected to the legs. The spring allows the main body and locking legs to be formed of an inflexible material, such as metal. The locking legs are separate pieces from the main body and are connected to the main body via a pivot pin or other hinged mechanism.
