Abstract: The invention relates to a furniture flap drive comprising an electric drive having an electric motor and a mechanical actuating unit having an actuating arm, the mechanical actuating unit and the electric drive being separate components and being releasably fastenable to each other. The actuating unit has a bearing in which the electric drive can be suspended, the suspended electric drive being swivelable about the bearing towards the actuating unit. A locking device is mounted at a distance to the bearing and can be used to lock the electric drive, in a preferably releasable manner, with the actuating unit once the latter has been swiveled open.

Abstract: An adjustable food shield includes a panel mounting mechanism that enables extensive adjustability of the food shield. The food shield may include a post having a longitudinal axis, and a carrier coupled to the post, the carrier including a carrier clamping mechanism. The carrier clamping mechanism is loosenable to enable the carrier to be moved along at least a portion of the length of the post, and is also tightenable to fix the carrier at a certain location on the post. The mounting mechanism may also include a link having a proximal end pivotally coupled to the carrier. An arm may be pivotally coupled to the distal end of the link and extend from the link. The adjustable food shield may include a clear panel coupled to the arm such that the clear panel is movable to different positions by rotating the link, the arm, or both.

Abstract: An exemplary server includes a housing having a lateral side defining four openings, and a foot pad fixed in each of the openings. The foot pad includes a pivoting rod and a supporting member pivotally connected to the pivoting rod. The supporting member is operable to rotate in the opening, thereby the supporting member being totally received in the opening, or a part of the supporting member protruding outwardly from the opening for supporting the housing.

Abstract: A merchandising unit for consumer goods includes at least one wall formed of one or more panels of electrically switchable glass which are switchable between a first state and a second state. The level of light transmission through the switchable glass is greater in the second state than in the first state. The merchandising unit includes a first compartment for housing the consumer goods. The first compartment includes the at least one wall formed from one or more electrically switchable glass panels, such that in the first state the consumer goods cannot be seen through the at least one wall and in the second state the consumer goods are visible through the at least one wall.

Abstract: A storage shell includes a plurality of sidewalls to collectively define a chamber therebetween. A first sidewall defines a panel and a track. The panel defines an outer perimeter edge, an exterior surface, and holes extending through the panel. The track is coupled to the panel and includes a first rib and a second rib each extending from the exterior surface. The first rib is positioned inside the outer perimeter edge. The second rib is concentric with and shaped similarly to the first rib. The first rib and the second rib each separately border each one of the holes where each of the holes is formed between the first rib and the second rib. Related storage and organization systems, accessories and methods are also disclosed and provide additional advantages.

Abstract: Cabinets adapted for non-level garage floors and out-of-plumb garage walls with leveling controls operated from inside each cabinet. The cabinets have in common that they are attachable to a garage wall and each has at least one adjustment panel forming a part of the back of the cabinet. Each adjustment panel has a hand screw for extending behind the cabinet to engage the wall to provide back-to-front leveling and to prevent installation of fasteners, such as screws, from pulling the cabinet closer to the wall during installation. Each adjustment panel also has horizontal slots in a staggered arrangement in two horizontal rows for receiving fasteners. Floor-standing cabinets have feet that are adjustable from inside the cabinet. Wall-hanging cabinets have a top bracket that provides side-to-side leveling form inside. Floor-standing cabinets are modular and stackable, using an included adapter and door-handle coupler to enable stacked cabinet doors to open as one.

Abstract: A slide assembly has a gravity biased latch arm on a slide member with a head having opposing barbs each insertable into a respective one of opposing cutouts in a bearing retainer of the slide assembly to provide a bearing retainer function. The latch arm and the cutouts in the bearing retainer are positioned such that the latch head may enter a cutout when an inner slide member is removed from the slide member. The use of dual barbs and opposing cutouts allows for unhanded operation of the bearing retainer function.

The stopper prevents a lid assembly from being rotated more than a maximum opening angle.

Abstract: A built-in domestic appliance is provided that has a length-adjustable spacer sleeve to fasten the built-in domestic appliance to a wall with a fastening screw. The length-adjustable spacer has a first sleeve part mounted on the built-in domestic appliance and a second sleeve part that is telescopically adjustable relative to the first sleeve part and that is adjustable, in length, along an axis with respect to the first sleeve part until the second sleeve part is in contact with the wall. The built-in domestic appliance also includes a rotational securing assembly that limits rotational movement of the second sleeve part about the axis.

Abstract: An apparatus is provided for releasably coupling a drawer to a rail, which can be pulled out in a longitudinal direction, of a drawer pull-out guide. The apparatus has a holding part which interacts with a mating holding part in the coupled state in order to establish the releasable connection. At least that region of the holding part which comes into contact with the mating holding part is made flexible, preferably by attaching a flexible piece of material, so that any longitudinal play of the drawer which may occur in relation to the rail can be compensated.

The bracket is capable of securing to the front wall in a first position, where the first resilient piece and the first retaining piece abut two opposite surfaces of the securing plate, and a second position, where the second resilient piece and the second retaining piece abut the two opposite surfaces of the securing plate.

Abstract: An adjustable food shield includes a panel mounting mechanism that enables extensive adjustability of the food shield. The food shield may include a post having a longitudinal axis, and a carrier coupled to the post, the carrier including a carrier clamping mechanism. The carrier clamping mechanism is loosenable to enable the carrier to be moved along at least a portion of the length of the post, and is also tightenable to fix the carrier at a certain location on the post.
