Abstract: The present invention is to provide a network synchronization system, wherein a first network apparatus is connected to a physical line, stores a first profile at least including a Service Set Identifier (SSID), a pre-shared key and a channel, and can connect to the Internet according to the first profile and send out a detection message, and at least one second network apparatus is also connected to the physical line and can automatically generate a request message according to the detection message. When receiving the request message, the first network apparatus sends out the first profile in reply. Based on the first profile, the second network apparatus adds a second profile including the same SSID and pre-shared key but a different channel to itself, and then makes a seamless connection with the Internet through the physical line and the first network apparatus according to the second profile.

Abstract: Methods and apparatus are provided for processing packets in a network. A received packet includes title materials which include one or more of a title object, a component of the title object, or a reference to the title object. The title object is a digital bearer instrument representing at least one right relating to processing of the packet in the network which may be redeemed by presentation of the title object to a title-enabled device or process operating in the network. Upon validation of the title object, the packet is processed in the network in accordance with the at least one right represented by the title object.

Abstract: In one embodiment, a method of scaling stateful enterprise services is provided. In this method, a request for data from an enterprise application is received. A user identifier is identified from the request, and an instance of the enterprise application that is associated with the user identifier is identified. The request is then routed to the identified instance of the enterprise application.

Abstract: A method for migrating virtual machines (VMs) that includes creating a temporary storage area. The temporary storage area is created by a controller in a network that is in a first state. The configuration data for a VM is stored in the temporary storage area. The network is provisioned from the first state to a second state. The provisioning is by the controller and based on network locations of a source server and a target server. A message is transmitted to the target server. The message includes a request to migrate the VM from the source server to the target server, and an address of the temporary storage area. It is determined that the migration has completed and the temporary storage area is removed based on the determining that the migrant has completed.

Abstract: Methods and systems are disclosed for dynamically managing multicast sessions for software downloads and, more particularly, for such software downloads used in build-to-order manufacturing information handling systems. Multiple multicast sessions are automatically managed simultaneously, where each session can have its own unique set of session parameters, in such a way as to support a high mix, high volume manufacturing build-to-order environment. Multicast session control parameters, such as start time and client count, are defined for each multicast session base upon download requests from the information handling systems as they reach the software installation phase.

Abstract: Technology is disclosed for establishing a querying system and load balancing the multi-tiered querying system. A multi-tiered targeted query system can comprise three tiers: a web tier, an aggregator tier, and a shard tier. When load balancing of shards is performed, fan-out can occur, increasing latency. The disclosed technology performs load balancing while minimizing the amount fan-out increase. Selecting the databases to move can comprise determining which databases on that server are causing the most load, and determining if moving any of these databases will increase an expected amount of fan-out above an acceptable threshold value. Determining the expected amount of fan-out increase incurred by moving a database can be based on an analysis of a number of friend relationships between that database and other databases on the same or other servers.

Abstract: A receipt receives an electronic message from a sender, wherein said electronic message comprises at least one suggested folder name specified by the sender for the recipient to select as a folder name for filing the electronic message, wherein the at least one suggested folder name is detected by a sender computer system from a selection by the sender within a user interface of the sender computer system of the at least one suggested folder name for the electronic message and inserted into the electronic message. The electronic message is filtered to detect the at least one suggested folder name for filing the electronic message in a messaging filing directory. Responsive to the recipient selecting to file the electronic message, the electronic message is filed in at least one folder with the suggested folder name from among a plurality of folders.

Abstract: An apparatus receives, from a management server device, three-dimensional disposition information pertaining to positions of a plurality of server devices each including a wireless communication unit, and converts the three-dimensional disposition information into two-dimensional disposition information. The apparatus calculates, based on the two-dimensional disposition information, a straight line distance indicating a length of a straight line between a first server device in the plurality of server devices and each of second server devices to which the first server device transmits data, and selects, from among the plurality of server devices, a relay server device for relaying data between the first server device and the second server devices, based on the calculated straight line distances.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide an approach for broker facilitated, publisher peer-to-peer (P2P) collaboration in a publish-subscription (pub/sub) environment. Specifically, in a typical embodiment, a broker system acts as an intermediary between publisher systems and subscriber systems in the pub/sub environment. Along these lines, the broker creates an administrative communication channel between known publisher systems and the broker system. Using this administrative communication channel, the broker system informs individual publisher systems about other publisher systems such that peer-to-peer communication channels between two or more publisher systems can be established. This can be accomplished using the broker system's knowledge of data being published by the individual publisher systems.

Abstract: Internet or networked communication message items are selectively synchronized and tracked. An interactive communication application presents a message entry interface enabling a user to select a discrete question for tracking, creating tracking thread. The message is presented by visually distinguishing the tracked question from a remainder of message items, and the thread is updated in response to a reply message comprising a linked answer. A secondary tracking display interface presents thread pluralities and enables a user to select and resend an unanswered question or an unacknowledged answer. An answer may be automatically or explicitly linked to a question. Selecting or linking a question or answer may be effected through a cursor routine or special text string inputs, and the special text string inputs may be user defined.

Abstract: Coupling circuitry couples a network to a host. The host operating system is configured for transfer of data between the host and at least one peer via the network using at least one stateful connection to a peer according to a connection-oriented protocol. The coupling circuitry processes received connection attempt indications by attempting to establish a stateful connection to an indicated peer. For a genuine attempt by a peer to establish a stateful connection with the host, the coupling circuitry interoperates with the peer to perform establishment-phase protocol processing of the attempted stateful connection. For each of the established stateful connections, the coupling circuitry operates to cause a state of that established stateful connection to be provided from the coupling circuitry to the host, wherein the operating system of the host handles data transfer phase protocol processing of that established stateful connection.

Abstract: Back-to-back Web Real-Time Communication (WebRTC) virtual agents, and related methods, systems, and computer-readable media are disclosed herein. In one embodiment, a method for providing back-to-back virtual WebRTC agents comprises receiving, by a WebRTC server executing on a computing device, a WebRTC offer/answer exchange between first and second WebRTC clients. The method further comprises instantiating one or more virtual WebRTC agents. The method also comprises establishing a first WebRTC interactive flow between the first WebRTC client and one of the one or more virtual WebRTC agents, and a second WebRTC interactive flow between the second WebRTC client and one of the one or more virtual WebRTC agents. The method additionally comprises directing a content of the first WebRTC interactive flow to the second WebRTC interactive flow, and a content of the second WebRTC interactive flow to the first WebRTC interactive flow, via the one or more virtual WebRTC agents.

Abstract: A method, apparatus, and system related to relevancy improvement through targeting of information based on data gathered from a networked device associated with a security sandbox of a client device are disclosed. In one embodiment, a system may comprise a networked device, a relevancy-matching server, and a client device. The networked device may be configured to generate a preliminary data and/or a primary data associated with a user and automatically announce a sandbox-reachable service of the networked device to a discovery module. The relevancy-matching server may be configured to match a targeted data with the primary data based on a relevancy factor associated with the user. The client device may be configured to automatically process an identification data of the networked device and/or the sandbox-reachable service of the networked device from the discovery module and to automatically associate with the networked device based on the identification data.

Abstract: The present invention discloses a method, an apparatus, and a system for notifying and learning address information invalidation. The present invention includes: receiving, by a mobile device, a first notification message that indicates release of a default bearer and is sent by a core network, where the first notification message includes a first default bearer that is allocated to the mobile device and already released by the core network; determining, by the mobile device and according to the first default bearer, address information corresponding to the first default bearer; and sending, by the mobile device and to a terminal device, a second notification message indicating address information invalidation, where the second notification message includes the address information invalidation indication information and the address information corresponding to the first default bearer, so that the terminal device deletes the address information corresponding to the first default bearer.

Abstract: A sender selection is detected at a sender computer system within a user interface of at least one suggested folder name for a composed electronic message for a recipient receiving the electronic message to select as a folder name for filing the electronic message. The at least one suggested folder name is attached to the electronic message at the sender computer system for distribution to the recipient. The electronic message is sent with the suggested filing folder name from the sender computer system to a recipient, wherein a recipient receiving the electronic message receives the at least one suggested folder name specified by the sender in the electronic message for selecting a folder for filing the electronic message in a messaging filing directory for the recipient.

Abstract: Systems and methods are provided that allow network resources to be shared across geographical distances. This can be achieved by changing the resources available for establishing and handling call or data session processing in an area. A mobility management device can alone or in combination with a DNS server change the size or the resource pool available in some embodiments. The change in resources can be dynamic according to certain predefined conditions or can be setup beforehand to account for daily demand. This sharing of resources can allow more efficient usage of resources available across a geographic region, rather than needed to over-provision each region to account for peak demands.

Abstract: The present invention teaches methods and systems for subscriber blocking of unauthorized network traffic in a cable data network. The cable modem termination system (CMTS) incorporates a data gateway agent that filters unauthorized traffic thereby eliminating consumption based subscribers from being responsible for related service charges. Embodiments incorporate the use of packet filtering, hybrid stateful packet filtering, content filtering, application layer filtering and time based filtering. Greater acceptance of consumption based billing is achieved by having the filter settings directed by the subscriber.
