  • Patent number: 7413693
Abstract: A wire connector fastening tool comprises an elongate body having a first end, a second end, an outer hand-engaging surface and an interior surface. The outer hand-engaging surface has a generally uniform outside diameter from its first end to its second end. The interior surface defines an internal axial bore extending through the body from the first end to the second end. The axial bore has a first section with a first inside diameter and a second section with a second inside diameter. The second inside diameter is larger than the first inside diameter. The first section of the bore extends from the first end of the body to a point between the first and second ends of the body. The second section of the bore extends from the first section of the bore to the second end of the body. The first end of the body is adapted to engage with at least a portion of the first wire connector in a manner so that rotation of the body causes rotation of the first wire connector.

  • Patent number: 5424534
Abstract: A retail check stand device has a conveyor and a pair of side walls, each of the side walls further including a side wall section presenting an inner planar surface on a respective side of the conveyor to confine articles. One of the side wall sections has a cavity adjacent the planar surface. A sensing means is provided to sensing objects on the conveyor. An opening is formed in the side wall section to provide access to the cavity. A check stand controller is responsive to the sensing means and is arranged to fit through the opening and be located in the cavity.

  • Patent number: 4672730
Abstract: Before mounting a rear seat of a motor vehicle, a wedge-shaped mounting aid is placed on two adjacent belt buckles. The mounting aid engages with its tongues in the belt buckles and is therefore held in the same manner as the belt tongues of the usual safety belts. Since the mounting aid tapers toward the seat, it slips, together with the belt buckles, easily through the slit provided for this purpose in the seat.

  • Patent number: 4638543
Abstract: A fixture for removing locking tubes from locking positions in a top nozzle includes a tool guide and a tool holder mounted above the tool guide for movement toward and away from the guide. Further, the fixture includes locking member removal tools each in the form of an outer elongated tubular member and an inner elongated actuating shaft. The tubular member is attached to the tool guide in alignment with one of its openings, while the actuating shaft is mounted to the tool holder and extends through the tubular member. When the tool guide is disposed on the top nozzle, both the tubular member and actuating shaft of each removal tool extend downwardly through one locking tube. The lower portion of the tubular member is in the form of a segmented sleeve having a lower segmented rim which is movable between circumferentially-collapsed and expanded positions. The actuating shaft of each tool has an upper cylindrical portion with an outside diameter larger than the inside diameter of the locking tube.

  • Patent number: 4525907
Abstract: A device for assembling the blinds comprising a supporter to which a plurality of the bridges are provided, one pair of which comprising movable and stational ones for receivably sandwiching slat. The device further has a plurality of triangle guide members, each having an arm projecting and another having a notch for receiving said arm to form a through elongated opening for passing the slat therethrough. The center line of the elongated opening of the guide and the pair of the bridges of the support coincides for the easiest insertion of the slat through the guide to the bridges, with the simple and quick manual operation or electrically operation, as the case may be.

  • Patent number: 4453304
Abstract: A method of producing a multi-ply metal bellows wherein the plies are telescoped together to form a multi-ply tube and annular grooves are inwardly rolled in the multi-ply tube at spaced intervals therealong while the tube is supported internally on either side of the grooves, as they are rolled, and is held against substantial deformation. Crest and root constraining dies are assembled around the multi-ply tube and in the grooves and then the tube is pressurized internally, while the dies are pushed together, so that the undeformed portions of the tube bulge outwardly into the dies. The bellows is then completed by removing the dies and putting spacing shims in between the bulged convolution crest portions and then pushing the ends of the tubes until the shims are lightly held between the bulges.
