  • Patent number: 8191783
Abstract: A method and a system for exchanging electronic information data, using a color code recognition device are provided. An electronic information data from the first computer is recognized in either in the ASCII code or in the binary digit format. The electronic information data is encoded by substituting each character of the ASCII codes or the binary digit recognized with a color value. The encoded data is transmitted to the second computer, and the transmitted data is decoded into the original electronic information data. The system for exchanging an electronic information data includes a storage device for storing the user identification database and the legend database, an encoding device for encoding the electronic information data, a decoding device for decoding the encoded data to restore the encoded data into its original format, and a network device for transmitting the data between a plurality of computers over the network.

  • Patent number: 8157170
Abstract: Aimed is easy locating of a card placed on a touch panel, when identifying card type by sliding a touch pen, etc. along card slits. When a reference slit determining unit (404) of a card identification device (401) determines that a locus input from a touch panel unit (402) matches a reference slit, a slit region display control unit (405) displays longest slit regions images in which value slits are to be included on an image display unit (403). When a value slit determining unit (406) determines that a locus input thereafter matches any value slit, an input-finished slit display control unit (409) displays the image of the identified value slit on the image display unit (403), overlaying it on the longest slit region. When all value slits are identified, a card identifying unit (407) identifies the card type based on types of the identified value slits, and outputs it.

  • Patent number: 8066180
Abstract: From the detection result of a sensor for detecting a card, whether or not the card exists in the inside, and whether or not the card exists in a return area are determined, respectively, and in the state where it is determined that the card exists in the inside, if the time counted by a first timer has reached a time while a command from a host system is not received by a communication unit, then it carries out the communication error process of addressing that the command is not received. That is, the card in the inside is returned to the area, and subsequently, in the state that it is determined that the returned card exists in the area, if the time counted by a second timer reaches a second time while the card is not taken out from the area, the card is taken to the inside.
