Abstract: This invention embodies a two-part herbicidal system comprised of an acylated 1,3-dicarbonyl herbicide compound corresponding to the formula ##STR1## and tautomeric forms thereof where R is an aromatic moiety, optionally substituted, and a non-phytotoxic antidotally effective amount of an antidote therefor selected from the group of phenoxyalkanoic acids, including salts, esters and amides thereof for use on various crops.
