Abstract: A waste heat recovery (WHR) system that can be utilized in internal combustion engine systems includes at least two circuits, one having a low pressure working fluid and another having a high pressure working fluid. Each circuit can include heat exchangers to allow the working fluid to absorb heat form one or more heat source fluids associated with the engine. The system can also include an expander configured to receive the working fluid from the at least two circuits, and generating mechanical power. The system also can include a condenser, a sub cooler, and at least one working fluid pump to pump the working fluid in the at least two circuits. The cooling system also includes a controller that can receive temperature and pressure values from various locations in the WHR system and control at least the flow rates of the working fluids in the at least two circuits.

Abstract: A fungal infection treatment includes a container comprised of a thermally conductive material. In this way the container can be heated by the boiled water when the boiled water is poured from the cup into the container. A cover is positionable on the container to close the container to inhibit the boiled water from being spilled from the container. A drape is provided that has an opening extending therethrough. In this way the drape can be positioned on a respective one of the user's appendages having the opening exposing a nail on the respective appendage. The container is positionable in the opening when the drape is positioned on the appendage. In this way the container can transfer heat from the boiled water to the nail on the respective appendage for treating a fungal infection of the nail bed.
Abstract: The invention uses a new system which cuts and unlocks a wrapping material (PE film) for cotton in a continuous manner in cotton harvesting, and a new method in production of such film. The film consists of many segments that make many bales of cotton. The film is separated with perforation by laser or other methods. A double sided adhesive is used to glue the bale at the end of it, which is covered by a folded bridge. The bridge connects both ends of the segments of the film. When perforated film is torn at a signal by the harvest machine, the bridge is unfolded as a leading edge for the next segment after a brief bridge linkage of both segments. The way of folding the bridge is key part of the invention, which accurately uncovers the end adhesive for the new bale and reduces the problem of tangling of the film at the time of separation.
Abstract: An all-encompassing system for planning and optimizing scheduled delivery appointments (or attended deliveries) through the utilization of a software tool having two major constituents: an asynchronously operating background advanced, genetic route optimization algorithm and an algorithm-informed communication user interface (whether through digital, or even analog, pathways, such as, without limitation, SMS, email, IM, and the like, oral communications, or any other possible means of communication). Such a system employs the optimization algorithm to determine efficient routes for delivery services in response to selections from contacted customers via the communication user interface. In this manner, the system allows for an initial base route generation from a set population of responding customers and negotiation through the communication user interface for a delivery time in relation to such a route.

Abstract: A foreign wireless communication system is operated in a local communication network as if the foreign wireless communication system were a local wireless communication system. A data communication link is established between the wireless communication system and a service provider in a local wireless communication network. An outgoing request for authentication information is communicated from the wireless communication system to a remote administration system over the data communication link. Abstract: The invention relates to a needle delivery device comprising a device body; one or more skin pinching members attached to the device body, the skin pinching members being moveable to pinch a longitudinal fold of skin of a patient. Abstract: The present invention relates to Adeno-associated virus type 9 methods and materials useful for intrathecal delivery of polynucleotides. Use of the methods and materials is indicated, for example, for treatment of lower motor neuron diseases such as SMA and ALS as well as Pompe disease and lysosomal storage disorders. It is disclosed that administration of a non-ionic, low-osmolar contrast agent, together with a rAAV9 vector for the expression of Survival Motor Neuron protein, improves the survival of SMN mutant mice as compared to the administration of the expression vector alone.
