Abstract: An image display device which displays a multiband image acquired by a multiband camera capable of capturing two or more bands comprises a parameter input/output and image outputting screen configured to represent each band itself or an image of the band, a band-RGB conversion table configured to use for converting a band number into a color represented in the a parameter input/output and image outputting screen, and wavelength information converting unit configured to calculate the band itself or the color representing the image of the band from the band number by use of the band-RGB conversion table to output the band or the color to the a parameter input/output and image outputting screen.
Abstract: A system includes a computing device to obtain encoded content data corresponding to at least one participant of a virtual reality environment. A memory device stores at least one texture corresponding to the at least one participant. A single decoder decodes the encoded content data into decoded content buffers for the at least one texture of one participant of the virtual reality environment. A processor determines whether the at least one texture is located in a pre-determined region of the virtual reality environment displayed to a program user. In response to the at least one texture being located in the pre-determined region, the processor updates the at least one texture with the decoded content buffers.

Abstract: Various embodiments of a display system are disclosed. One embodiment comprises a panel having a set of drivers connected to a subpixel rendering circuit in which the number of data lines going to the drivers is less than the different number of color data sets generated by the subpixel rendering circuit. In another embodiment, the driver circuits and/or the subpixel rendering circuit are constructed on the panel, using the panel's thin film transistors.
Abstract: Methods and systems for transparent depth sorting are described. In accordance with one embodiment, multiple depth buffers are utilized to sort depth data associated with multiple transparent pixels that overlie one another. The sorting of the depth data enables identification of an individual transparent pixel that lies closest to an associated opaque pixel. With the closest individual transparent pixel being identified, the transparency effect of the identified pixel relative to the associated opaque pixel is computed. If additional overlying transparent pixels remain, a next closest transparent pixel relative to the opaque pixel is identified and for the next closest pixel, the transparency effect is computed relative to the transparency effect that was just computed.
Abstract: A computer method, apparatus and storage medium is provided for creating quantitative aesthetic graphics from data. The invention utilizes a graph algebra to construct graphs and visually or otherwise represents the graphs as a quantitative aesthetic graphic representation. To create the quantitative aesthetic graphics from data, the data is indexed to form a data set. Thereafter, the data is converted into a variable data structure composed of an index set, a range and a function. The variable data structure is converted into a variable set by using at least one of a blend step, a cross step and a nest step. The variable set is mapped into a set of points and the set of points is mapped into an aesthetic representation.
Abstract: A method enables online purchase of customizable home construction plans. The method includes accessing a web based software package, customizing the home, and ordering the construction plans. The software package is a second aspect. The software allows the consumer to select different predefined features and add them to a stock floor plan. The selection of different features enables the customization of the home plan. The features selected are displayed to the consumer through a series of layers. The layers are superimposed on each other according to a predefined logic so that the consumer views what the home actually will look like rather an amalgamation of pieces. When the consumer is satisfied with the customized plan, the consumer orders formal plans and construction plans are sent to the consumer.
