  • Patent number: 9967865
Abstract: A method and apparatus are disclosed to handle UL information. The method includes configuring a UE (User Equipment) with multiple serving cells. The method further includes transmitting, from the UE, in a subframe i a first UL control information on a physical channel of a first UL serving cell. The method also includes transmitting, from the UE, in the subframe i a second UL control information on a physical channel of a second UL serving cell, wherein if the total transmit power of the UE exceeds {circumflex over (P)}CMAX (i), the UE would scale down the transmit power of the physical channel with lower power priority based on types of the first UL control information and the second UL control information.

  • Patent number: 9967007
Abstract: A cooperative multi-user multiple input, multiple output (MIMO) antenna array comprises a MIMO subspace processing system communicatively coupled to a set of antennas residing on multiple ones of a plurality of geographically distributed wireless terminals in a Mobile Radio Network. The MIMO subspace processing system can comprise a distributed computing system. The MIMO antenna array is adapted by updating the set of antennas to produce a second set of antennas; selecting an updated set of distributed computing resources, if necessary, to perform MIMO subspace processing; and reconfiguring the MIMO subspace processing to employ channel state information of the second set to enable multiple non-interfering subspace channels occupying a common frequency.

  • Patent number: 9961657
Abstract: An eNodeB (eNB), user equipment (UE) and method for operating in enhanced coverage (EC) modes are generally described. The UE may receive one or more physical broadcast channel (PBCH) signals, dependent on whether the UE is in a normal coverage mode or in one of the EC modes. The PBCH signal may be combined to form a combined PBCH signal, when the UE is in an EC mode, and decoded to determine one of a plurality of sets of resource regions associated different EC modes for communication with the eNB. The signal may be scrambled using a Radio Network Temporary Identifier (RNTI) dependent on at least one of a signal type of the control signal and the EC mode. Paging and the system information block (SIB) signals in a Physical Downlink Shared Channel (PDSCH) may be decoded without decoding a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) signal associated with the PDSCH.

  • Patent number: 9877245
Abstract: Techniques are disclosed for determining a threshold value for determining whether to steer a particular node (such as, a client device) from one node (such as, an access point ((AP)) to another node (such as, another AP). A particular node associated with a current node in a wireless environment is identified. One or more parameters associated with the particular node, the current node, a candidate node to which the particular node may be steered, and/or the wireless environment is identified. Based on the parameters, a threshold value is determined. The threshold value is the minimum improvement in quality of one or more links if the particular node is steered from the current node to the candidate node. If the improvement in quality is greater than the determined threshold value, then the particular node is steered to associate with the candidate node rather than the current node.

  • Patent number: 9860183
Abstract: A method, computer program product, and computing system for receiving return data of a dataflow on a first gateway of a first wired communication trunk within a communication platform. If corresponding forward data of the dataflow was not received on the first gateway, a determination is made concerning which gateway within the communication platform received the corresponding forward data, thus defining a second gateway of a second wired communication trunk within the communication platform. The return data is forwarded to the second gateway of the second wired communication trunk.
