  • Patent number: 11974923
Abstract: The present invention is directed to a method of penile prosthesis implantation that is minimally invasive, particularly in comparison to traditional methods of penile prosthesis implantation. The implantation method utilizes image guidance and a catheter deployment system for implanting a penile prothesis into the corporal body of a penis of a patient. More specifically, the implantation method may utilize the Seldinger technique and/or a modified Seldinger technique for implanting the prothesis. The method of implantation may result in more accurate placement, better cosmetic results, faster healing, and less likelihood for infections and other complications.

  • Patent number: 11969328
Abstract: A wirelessly powered inflatable medical implant system includes a medical provider software application, a patient external controller and a MR-Conditional, nonferrous pump in reservoir implant. The medical provider software application programs the patient external controller for the patient to transmit wireless power and control signals to circuitry in a pump in reservoir implant. In response, the pump in reservoir implant, containing a fluid reservoir and pump package submerged therein, transfers fluid from the reservoir through tubing, and into one or more inflatable medical implants. Submerging the pump package within the reservoir simplifies surgery in males and pump placement in females and provides pump package heatsinking to limit implant overheating.

  • Patent number: 11944351
Abstract: A medical device and method for artificial insemination are provided. The medical device has a shield and an arm secured to the shield at one end and extending outwardly from the shield. The arm is inserted into the cervical canal of a patient and the shield covers the external os of the patient. By inserting the medical device into a patient's cervical canal after insemination, a physical barrier that holds a semen sample within the cervical canal and prevents leakage from the cervical canal back into the vaginal cavity is established. The device may have a bore extending through the device for a catheter to pass through. The bore has a valve to allow passage of the catheter and prevent backflow of semen. The arm may have a circumferential bulge to help keep the device in place during use.
