  • Patent number: 10850061
Abstract: Systems tune, control, or remediate the intrinsic Circadian clock. A light controller sets spectral distribution, intensity of a bioactive spectral band to shift or entrain circadian response to enhance performance and/or synchronize with local or expected conditions. The systems enhance performance under conditions that might be changing, disrupted, or otherwise present an irregular phase or unnatural change in the subject's circadian status, for example, due to geographically discontinuous activity or spectrally deficient workplace illumination, or due to divergent individual sleep/wake behaviors of subjects in a structured group activity. An illumination recipe that compensates for the deficiency of lighting or of participant sleep or behavior patterns, or age- or disease-related changes, to evoke, shift, or align circadian response and improve behaviors such as classroom alertness, relaxation, excitability, attention, or focus.

  • Patent number: 10843006
Abstract: Systems and methods of the present disclosure are directed to systems and methods for treating cognitive dysfunction in a subject in need thereof. The system can include a neural stimulation system that receives an indication of an ambient audio signal detected by a microphone. The system selects, from a profile, an audio signal including a fixed parameter and a variable parameter. The system sets the variable parameter to a first value. The system generates an output signal based on the fixed parameter and the first value, and provides the output signal to the speaker. The system measures a physiological condition of the subject, adjusts the variable parameter to a second value, generates a second output signal based on the fixed parameter and the second value of the variable parameter, and provides the output signal to the speaker to cause the speaker to provide modified sound to the subject.

  • Patent number: 10814143
Abstract: A database stores pre-calculated solutions each of which defines a radiation therapy treatment plan for a treatment volume associated with at least one target and at least one organ-at-risk. The pre-calculated solutions are divided into at least two groups each of which includes at least one pre-calculated solution. The pre-calculated solutions in a given group represent radiation therapy treatment plans which share a common beam configuration. A radiation therapy treatment plan (sc) is established based on the pre-calculated solutions as follows. A first user interface receives operator commands specifying criteria for selecting radiation therapy treatment plans from the database, the criteria defining a set of parameters for the treatment volume. In particular, the operator commands jointly specify criteria for selecting radiation therapy treatment plans from more than one of the at least two groups.
