Abstract: A method of handling internal operations of a storage device includes in response to information derived from one or more commands received from a host device when the storage device is coupled to the host device, determining whether a sequence of commands is in one of an active state, and a first transition state, where in the first transition state the sequence of commands is transitioning from an inactive state to the active state. The method includes, while the sequence of commands is in the active state or in the first transition state, refraining from executing any operation of a first set of internal memory management operations, each of the first set of internal memory management operations being an extra-sequence operation.

Abstract: The invention presents a method and system for processing the purchase of products, goods and/or services, more particularly, to a method and system for processing the purchase by a buyer of products from one or more sellers of products in an on-line real-time e-Commerce business environment where the merchant server from which the goods are purchased lacks adequate encryption security for the purchasing of the goods by credit card. The method and system also allows for the easy up-dating registration by a merchant of the items available for purchase as maintained on the Web, DB server. The invention also discloses a method and system for avoiding the hindrance of foreign exchange rates fluctuations on the payment of on-line real-time e-Commerce trading.

Abstract: An organic light emitting display capable of substantially preventing IR drop of a power source wiring line and coupling of data lines is disclosed. In one aspect, the organic light emitting display includes pairs of data lines between adjacent sub-pixels. The data lines are arranged to run parallel with a coupling blocking wiring line provided between each pair.

Abstract: Communication applications may include lists of users with which a user of the application communicates. If two users of a communications application each include the other user on their user lists, an implicit trust may be established between the users. For example, if user A includes user B in her list and user B includes user A in his list, then it may be determined that each user knows and/or trusts the other user. As a result, a connection or communications pathway may be automatically created between the client devices of the users to facilitate communications between the users based on the implicit trust.

Abstract: A guidance and vehicle control system for automatically steering a vehicle, such as an agricultural vehicle or a tractor, through a field. The system includes a GNSS receiver and antenna for determining the vehicle's instantaneous position, a guidance CPU, and an automatic steering subsystem integrated with the vehicle's electrical power system. The automatic steering subsystem can be interfaced with the steering column of the vehicle, and mechanically activates the steering column, thereby steering the vehicle according to instructions received from the CPU based upon the vehicle's position and a predetermined path. An interrupt element, such as a wheel movement sensor or a slip gear, may be interfaced with the automatic steering subsystem to allow for manual steering override of the automatic steering control.

Abstract: Disclosed herein is a non-contact charging system. The non-contact charging system detects a portable terminal, a battery pack or a foreign object that is placed on the pad of a non-contact charger, and effectively monitors and controls its charging state through the detection, thus preventing such a foreign object placed on the pad from being heated by induction heating, and further causes anions to be generated during the charging of the portable terminal or the battery pack, thus sterilizing bacteria on a terminal and keeping ambient air thereof fresh.

Abstract: A digital-to-time converter includes a first node, a second node configured to receive a reference signal, and a digital-to-analog signal converter configured to couple a passive impedance to the first node. The passive impedance is selected according to the digital code. The digital-to-time converter also includes a first switch configured to selectively couple the first node to a second reference signal in response to the input signal and a comparator configured to generate the output signal based on a first signal on the first node and the reference signal on the second node. The digital-to-time converter may include a second switch configured to selectively couple the first node to a third reference signal in response to a first control signal.

Abstract: Patrons at a restaurant or bar can pay at their table using credit cards, without involving the restaurant or bar cashier and/or wait staff. Patrons are assisted using this system in dividing the bill by displaying the amount due (including tax) and allowing each patron to enter the amount they wish to pay. When the initial bill is presented, a balance due will be displayed and the indication will be provided that the bill has yet to be paid in full. As each transaction is entered, a running total will be displayed indicating the remaining balance due. When the running total reaches zero, the bill is paid in full, and an indication will be provided, such as by illuminating a green indicator light or by displaying a balance due of $0.00.
