Abstract: A system determines measured patient values for use in clinical calculations using an electronic form including, a first area including data fields for presenting values of the parameters associated with a first part of a cardiac catheterization study of a patient and a second area including data fields for presenting values of the parameters associated with a different second part of a cardiac catheterization study of the patient. A user interface enables a user to copy at least one of the parameters comprising a measured value from the first area to the second area as a substitute value eliminating a need for a re-measurement of the value. A calculation processor automatically calculates a cardiac flow value for incorporation in the second area in response to the measured value being copied into the second area.

Abstract: Mechanisms are provided to allow for improved media content navigation. Metadata such as closed captioning, social media content, and tags associated with various media segments are analyzed to allow identification of particular entities depicted in the various media segments. Image recognition and audio recognition algorithms can also be performed to further identify entities or validate results from the analysis of metadata.

In an embodiment, a method for isolating analytics tracking logic comprises receiving a rich Internet application, identifying a plurality of event elements within the content separate from content creation, tagging the identified plurality of event elements, wherein the event elements are tagged in isolation of content creation, and storing the content including the tagged event elements. The set of tagged event elements may be modified in isolation of content creation.

Abstract: The present invention discloses a method for implementing control of keys of a virtual keyboard on a touch screen with two thumbs including conventional technical processes of arranging keys on a preset virtual keyboard according to a key layout and setting, and displaying the preset virtual keyboard and the keys on the touch screen according to the key arrangement of the preset virtual keyboard and corresponding setting and parameters. In this way, without changing the key layout of the preset virtual keyboard, the key position setting, and the current width of the virtual keyboard determined according to the current screen width, when the preset virtual keyboard is displayed and runs on the wide touch screen, the keys are at positions touchable by both thumbs of an operator.

Abstract: In one aspect, there is provided a method. The method may include monitoring a process including a plurality of user interfaces, at least one of the user interfaces representing a notification of a task to be completed and at least another user interface representing information associated with an action corresponding to the notification; determining whether at least a portion of the process is a candidate for adaptation; and adapting the process by combining a first portion of the at least one of the user interface representing the notification of the task and a second portion of the at least other user interface representing the information associated with the action. Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention address deficiencies of the art in respect to user interface rendering for information objects and provide method, system and computer program product for an integrated view of multi-sourced information objects. In an embodiment of the invention, an attention manager data processing system can be provided. The system can include integrated view logic executing in a computing device and an attention manager user interface generated by program code of the integrated view logic. The user interface can include a grid of quadrants. Each quadrant can correspond to a unique combination of importance and urgency. The quadrant further can include representations of underlying information objects from multiple different sources of information objects. Correspondingly, each information object can include a respective importance and urgency consistent with a corresponding one of the quadrants.

Abstract: Techniques described herein provide a computing device configured to provide an indication that the computing device has recognized a voice-initiated action. In one example, a method is provided for outputting, by a computing device and for display, a speech recognition graphical user interface (GUI) having at least one element in a first visual format. The method further includes receiving, by the computing device, audio data and determining, by the computing device, a voice-initiated action based on the audio data. The method also includes outputting, while receiving additional audio data and prior to executing a voice-initiated action based on the audio data, and for display, an updated speech recognition GUI in which the at least one element is displayed in a second visual format, different from the first visual format, to indicate that the voice-initiated action has been identified.

Selection of an image or a portion of an image may trigger or search for corresponding media content or begin playback of relevant media content. Abstract: Applications on a computing device provide notifications associated with the application to a notification system. A notification includes an identification of content to be presented for the notification and an indication of when the content is to be presented. The notification system presents the notification content at the appropriate time regardless of whether the application is executing and without resuming execution of the application if the application is not running. Various power efficiency techniques are also used to determine which notifications are presented and when a user interface is updated to reflect those notifications in order to avoid updating the user interface to reflect notifications that would not be observable (e.g., due to a power mode of the computing device).

Abstract: Computer-readable media, computer systems, and computing methods are provided for discovering applications using phone-number information. Initially, an application uploaded to an application marketplace is targeted. Phone numbers associated with the targeted application are discovered by identifying attributes of the targeted application from metadata associated therewith in the application marketplace, and identifying the phone numbers that reach at least one business affiliated with the targeted application or are relevant to the identified attributes of the targeted application. The associated phone numbers are mapped to the targeted application and maintained within an application manifest. Upon detecting user-initiated call-based operation(s) at a client device, the phone number(s) involved in the call-based operation(s) are compared against the application manifest to determine relevant applications.

Abstract: Systems, methods and articles of manufacture are disclosed for managing relationship information across virtual worlds. In one embodiment, information about avatars in virtual worlds may be received. A correlation may be derived between two avatars based on the received information. The derived correlation between the two avatars may be stored. Applications may query for derived correlations.

Abstract: Some embodiments of the invention provide a media-editing application for creating and editing a media presentation that displays the results of edits as the edits are made to the media presentation. The media-editing application displays the movement of media clips of the media presentation as the media clips are being moved within the media-editing application to change the media presentation. Also, the media editing application in some embodiments can dynamically display the results of edits in a preview display area. That is, the media editing application has a preview generator that can generate previews of the media presentation on the fly as media clips are being dragged into and within the timeline. This allows the user of the media-editing application to see and hear the results of the operation while performing them.
