  • Patent number: 9751730
Abstract: The invention relates to a crane, in particular an overhead crane or gantry crane, having at least two crane girders that extend horizontally in a longitudinal direction. The crane is designed as trussed girders and each girder includes an upper run with a moveable crane trolley and lifting gear. Each crane girders is composed of two upper run profiles that are connected together via a running rail for the crane trolley. By way of such a design, particularly simple assembly of the crane girders or of the crane can be achieved. Therefore, commercially available, conventional structural steel can be used for the upper run, from which the upper run is produced in a simple manner in terms of manufacturing technology by simple connection to a corresponding running rail.

  • Patent number: 9751495
Abstract: Disclosed is an improved reel assembly for use in conjunction with an occupant restraint system. The assembly employs a dual locking arrangement whereby an occupant can be restrained during both major and minor incidents. After a minor incident, the reel assembly can be conveniently unlocked, without the need for accessing the push button, by applying counter tension to the webbing. After a major incident, the reel assembly remains locked until the occupant disengages the reel via a push button. When the reel assembly experiences the force of a major incident, rotation of the webbing shaft may be first partially arrested by the engagement of a first of two locking teeth on a locking dog with a first of two engagement surfaces on a geared end plate and subsequently completely arrested by the combined engagements of the first and second locking teeth with their respective first and second engagement surfaces.

  • Patent number: 9745176
Abstract: A method for retrieving storage racks in a tank freezer includes positioning a retrieval crane adjacent to the tank freezer such that a base of the retrieval crane is positionable underneath a bottom wall of a tank body. The retrieval crane includes a boom extending upwardly and laterally outwardly over the base so that a retention hook at a free end of a cable associated with the boom may be extended or retracted relative to the tank freezer. More specifically, the cable may be moved to extend the hook through the opening of the tank freezer into a storage space, and then retract the hook to lift and then hold a selected storage rack in a hoisted position. The method avoids the use of manual hoisting of storage racks, and the retrieval crane may be used with any of a plurality of similar tank freezers located in a larger facility.

Abstract: A self-locking belt retractor for seat belts having a belt-strap-sensitive control mechanism with a control disc coupled to the belt shaft to control a locking element, by means of a pin moveably in an oblong hole in the control disc. The control disc carries an inertia element that, when triggered, radially swivels to lock the retractor belt shaft engages into a stationary toothed section. A control clip has two spaced apart legs on a friction mount between a blocking position of the inertia element and a release position. A follower forms stop surfaces engageable with the clip legs to carry the control clip during the rotation of the control disc belt winding direction a belt extension direction. The control clip releases the inertia element in the release position. One spring leg extends with an end into the movement path of the pin in the oblong hole.
