Abstract: A hair care composition is disclosed comprising a cationically modified guar polymer having a cationic degree of substitution of from 0.35 to 0.70, an ethoxylated alkyl sulfate anionic surfactant having a formula RO(CH2CH2O)nSO3M, wherein R is an alkyl or alkenyl group having from 8 to 18 carbon atoms; M is a solubilising cation comprising sodium, potassium, 5 ammonium, substituted ammonium or mixtures thereof; n is the degree of ethoxylation of from 0.5 to 3 and from 0.01 to 10% by weight of an anti-dandruff agent selected from azole based anti-fungal agents, piroctone olamine, metal pyrithione salts, selenium sulfide or mixtures thereof; wherein the degree of substitution is measured using 1H NMR and the spectrum is recorded at 25° C.

Methods of using the nail-treatment compositions and cured products of the same are also provided. A cured product of the nail-treatment composition can be monolithically peelable from the nail.

[Solution] Provided are a decorating powder composition including a glossy powder which has been surface-treated with a silane compound or a silazane compound, and a method for decorating a solid cosmetic material, the method including causing the decorating powder composition to adhere to a printing plate and then bringing the printing plate into contact with a surface of the solid cosmetic material to transfer the decorating powder composition to the surface of the solid cosmetic material and decorate the solid cosmetic material.

Abstract: Provided herein relates to methods and compositions for preparing a silk microsphere and the resulting silk microsphere. In some embodiments, the methods and compositions described herein are all aqueous, which can be used for encapsulating an active agent in a silk microsphere, while maintaining activity of the active agent during processing. In some embodiments, the resulting silk microsphere can be used for sustained delivery of an active agent encapsulated therein.

Abstract: A chemical-free, body cleansing cream formulation is provided comprising organic Aloe vera gel, coconut oil, sunflower oil, shea butter, witch hazel, one or more essential oils such as clary sage or distilled lime, and one or more pH-balancing agents such as apple cider vinegar or citric acid. The formulation is a natural alternative to soap which does not include chemicals such as sodium hydroxide. The cleansing cream has no soapsuds and produces no foam, and yet can still cleanse the most intimate areas of the body with very little to no risk of skin irritation. Alternatively, the cream or formulation can include Tribulus, witch hazel, horny goat weed (Epimedium), shea butter, ginseng, citric acid, coconut oil, almond oil, and flaxseed.

Abstract: A skin treatment composition is described comprising a cryopreserved blend of natural materials including at least two components selected from the group consisting of wheat grass juice, wheat grass pulp, shea butter, cocoa powder, rice flour, coffee, jojoba oil, hemp oil, castor oil, and sugarcane juice. The skincare treatment composition is applied with a specialty applicator that is frozen into the compound during processing.
