  • Patent number: 5372265
Abstract: An apparatus table is described which has two lateral stands provided with attachment means and arranged at a fixed distance with respect to one another and at least one receiving device for instruments, apparatus and the like, provided between the stands, the receiving device being screwed to the two stands. To achieve a simply constructed receiving device which can be manufactured inexpensively, the receiving device has structural components assembled in the form of movable parts and comprising two opposing edge strips screwed in each case to the associated stand and extending transversely thereto with plug-in receivers and a working shelf provided with plug-in projections which project into the plug-in receivers. Each stand has two vertical, projecting bearing rails for the particular edge strip at a distance from one another on its side facing the edge strip attached to the stand. The stands have the attachment means for the receiving devices between the bearing rails.

  • Patent number: 5372264
Abstract: A magazine containing a number of standardized magnetic tape cartridges, for loading into an automated device in which a selected cartridge can be removed from the magazine and inserted into a data reader, has a number cartridge receptacles therein formed by a number of dividers extending the width of the magazine. Each divider consists of electrically conductive polymer, and has an electrical connector at a bottom thereof which extends through a bottom of the magazine, and which engages an electrically conductive path to ground in a base element on which the magazine rests within the device, thereby providing an electrostatic discharge path for each cartridge in each receptacle. Each divider also has an element extending into the receptacle, which is engaged by the cartridge as it is being inserted into the receptacle.

  • Patent number: 5370247
Abstract: A ferris wheel type container positioning mechanism having a ferris wheel arrangement carrying three carriages equally spaced thereon. The three carriages are pivotably attached between a pair of rotatably driven wheels and traverse a circular path during a first portion of its total path and traverse a linear path when being displaced adjacent to the floor. Rollers are provided on the bottom of the carriages to facilitate their linear displacements. The container platforms of the carriages may include a turn table and/or a tilt top to provide the best ergonomic positioning of the container for access by the worker.

  • Patent number: 5370240
Abstract: In accordance with the present invention, there is provided a stand for supporting sport weapons such as bows, firearms and the like. The inventive stand comprises a frame configured to be supported upright with respect to a surface. The frame includes a base which rests substantially flat on the surface. The frame further includes first and second upright members connected to the base. First and Second bracket members are mounted to the first and second upright members respectively on one side for pivotal rotation. The first and second bracket members have support members which project outwardly to one side of the frame and are substantially perpendicular thereto. Third and Fourth bracket members are mounted to the first and second upright members respectively on the other side for pivotal rotation. The third and fourth bracket members have support members which project outwardly to the other side of the frame and are substantially perpendicular thereto.

  • Patent number: 5366098
Abstract: An archery bow hanger is capable of holding a bow or bows vertically and in parallel spaced relation to a door or wall on which the hanger is mounted. A mounting means may take the form of a U-shaped hook member which extends around the top edge of a door. The hook member is sufficiently thin that, when the door is closed, the hook member is able to sit between the door and its adjacent frame. The hook member is connected to one end of an extension member that extends away from the door, and a horizontal bar is connected to the other end of the extension member. A bow is held on the horizontal bar such that its respective limb and string extend on opposite sides of the bar. Several alternate mounting means are described. The hanger allows a bow to be vertically mounted such that the limb of the bow is directed away from the door or wall on which the hanger is mounted, adjustments to the bow being thereby facilitated.

  • Patent number: 5358128
Abstract: A display rack is mounted to an internal surface of transparent panel in refrigerated vault to support and display bottles through the transparent panel. The display rack has a back wall for mounting the rack and a ledge extending from the back wall which has a generally horizontal portion adjacent the back wall and a upwardly deflected portion distal from the back wall. A plurality of slots are formed in the ledge for receiving the neck portions of the bottles. Each slot is of a size adapted to receive the neck portion of a bottle but smaller than the top portion used sealing the bottle, whereby the edges of the slots in the ledge can support the bottle at its neck and the body portion of the body of the bottle can be easily grasped for selection and removal from the display rack.
