Abstract: There is disclosed an article for restraining movement of objects in a dishwasher rack including a heat resistant, elastic net, which, when secured across the top opening of the rack, remains substantially flat over objects not exceeding the height of the rack and has openings to permit it to receive and to conform to the sides of other objects whose height does exceed that of the rack.

Abstract: An elongate track member includes a spring biased slide block, with the slide block arranged for inter-engaging and locking relative to the track structure. The slide block includes a U-shaped clamp bar having spaced legs, with each leg including a clamp jaw to secure a bicycle frame therewithin. The spring structure within the track member permits ease of lowering and raising of the organization.

Abstract: A bicycle rack consisting of a channel member having a wall on one side and a stepped base, and retaining and locking means to hold a bicycle is provided. The rack permits easy entry and removal of a bicycle from a horizontal, vertical or overhead position. Means are also provided to permit locking of a bicycle to the rack. Accessories are provided to support a bicycle while being repaired, and to protect a rear bicycle fender when a bicycle is parked vertically.

Abstract: A space saving rack for storing skis is disclosed. The ski storage rack includes a mounting plate secured to a vertically arranged support member. The mounting plate has a plurality of spaced, horizontally-extending dowel pins attached to it for receiving a plurality of skis and poles vertically positioned therebetween. Resilient retaining clips are detachably mounted on the outer ends of the dowel pins to secure the skis and poles between the dowel pins. A catch basin is positioned on a horizontally arranged support member and is configured for receiving snow and ice melting and dropping from the skis and poles. The catch basin is located below and in vertical alignment with the mounting plate so that the mounting plate and dowel pins overlie the catch basin. The lower ends of the skis and poles are positioned and supported on the catch basin.

Abstract: This invention involves racks or tray arrays for use in clinical laboratories, in particular, to support tubes and other containers holding body fluid specimens. The invention allows the user to "build" racks or arrays of larger and/or smaller capacity, depending upon the user's requirements, by rapid snapping together of a plurality of identical modular tube units. The racks or units may have a variety of size openings for accommodating different size specimen containers, and containers of different configuration. Thus, the user can maintain stable support of a great many containers simultaneously for handling in the laboratory, thus avoiding the danger of dropping or spilling specimens. The arrangements of the invention may be comprised of reusable, autoclavable moldable plastic materials, or less expensive throw away moldable materials. The individual components making up the tube rack array may be of a variety of geometric configurations.

Abstract: A device (10) for supporting articles (11) in a pile so that any one of the articles in the pile can be removed without disrupting the orderly arrangement of the pile. The device (10) comprises a guide means (13) and a plurality of spacing elements (20) mounted on and slidably movable along the guide means (13). The spacing elements adjacent to one another when in a spaced apart relationship define a storage zone (29) each for receiving and storing one of the articles. The spacing elements (20) serve to maintain at least partial separation between articles in the pile to permit any one of the articles to be removed without disrupting the pile. As each article (13) is removed from the pile, the spacing elements above it slide down along the guide means (13) to progressively decrease the height of the pile.

Abstract: A portable support assembly adapted for mounting on a pole, such as for permitting air drying of clothes, towels, or the like, is disclosed. The assembly comprises a first collar having a first aperture adapted for receiving the pole. A first set of arms extend from the first collar. Each arm of the first set of arms terminates at a distal end. A second collar having a second aperture adapted for receiving the pole is also provided. A second set of arms extend from the second collar. Each arm of the second set of arms terminates at a distal end, wherein each arm of the first set of arms corresponds to a respective arm of the second set of arms. A third set of arms is further provided. Each arm of the third set of arms has an end and is pivotally joined to the distal end of respective ones of the second set of arms. Each of the third set of arms are removably joined to the distal end of respective ones of the first set of arms.

Abstract: In a storage rack comprising a front beam, a back beam, and a crossbar extending therebetween, the front beam having a vertical wall facing backwardly and a horizontal ledge extending backwardly, the back beam having a recess wall facing frontwardly and a recess ledge extending frontwardly, a first slot is provided in one such wall and a second slot is provided in the other wall. The crossbar has a first tang extending from a first end and adapted to be initially inserted into the first slot and a second tang extending from a second end and adapted to be subsequently inserted into the second slot without removing the first tang from the first slot. Each end can sit firmly on a beam ledge with the tangs extending into the slots. The tangs have notches providing clearance for slot margins and end tabs preventing the tangs from being pulled out.

Abstract: A holder for a string of electric lights of the type having a plurality of lamps and corresponding lamp sockets connected at spaced intervals to electrical wiring. The holder is made up of connected upper and lower relatively thin elongated mounting plates along the sides of which are provided uniformly spaced alternating tabs and open ended slots. The upper and lower mounting plates and slots are aligned. Each one of the lower slots is for receiving wiring emanating from the base of a corresponding one of the lamp sockets and each one of the upper slots is for receiving a corresponding one of the lamps, the corresponding lamp sockets then being confined therebetween the upper and lower mounting plates. Two or more of the holders may be connected side by side.

Abstract: A folding multi-pot holder has a holder member pivotably supported over a se member by opposing sets of legs pivotably mounted to the opposite ends of the base and holder members. The pivot points of each pair of legs are offset from each other by the thickness of the legs so that the legs can be pivotally folded to a flat, horizontal position for storage. In the preferred embodiment, the base member and holder member both have the same thickness which is twice the thickness of the legs so that the entire assembly folds flat to a single thickness for storage. Support members are provided for bracing the holder member at intermediate positions and have upright tabs that lock the holder member and legs in the vertical position during use.

Abstract: A device for supporting a plastic trash bag in an open and upright position while protecting the plastic bag from becoming ripped and punctured is disclosed. The device is made up of a tubular base and a funnel member. The tubular base, made of corrugated paper having waxed interior and exterior surfaces, has of a plurality of side panels some of which have cut slits to receive flaps from the funnel member for interconnection between the two components.The funneling unit has an interlocking means coupled to its opposite ends to interconnect the ends to form the funnel shaped. The funneling unit further comprises a fastening means for affixing the funneling unit to the tubular base. The funneling unit also has a means for securing the plastic bag in an open and upright position.When the tubular base is inserted into the plastic trash bag, the plastic bag is raised into an open and upright position and secured by the securing means.

Abstract: A cap rack for storage or display of caps having a bill or visor, such as baseball caps, tennis visors or golf hats, comprises a longitudinal member having a vertical axis and including a plurality of slots formed into the member at a specified angle to the horizontal. A cap can be retained in each slot by the bill of the cap. A hook at the top of the cap rack allows the rack to be suspended from any convenient place. The hook is fixed to the cap rack by a blind swivel connection, allowing the cap rack to be rotated to gain easy access to any single cap.

Abstract: An apparatus for displaying eyeglass frames includes an elongate square channel-shaped base member that includes a flat bottom wall, a rear wall and a front wall. The rear and front wall are parallel to one another and accommodate therebetween the free ends of the temple pieces of a plurality of eyeglass frames that are positioned along the extent of the base member. The front wall has a greater height than the rear wall so that the temple pieces are maintained in a horizontal plane when the rear wall of the base member is secured to a vertical support surface. The spacing between the rear wall and the front wall is predetermined in accordance with the respective heights of the front and rear walls to prevent the free ends of the temple pieces from falling out.

Abstract: A self-coupling type cable holder composed of two holder halves molded integral with each other via two hinges at the opposite ends using a thermoplastic resin is disclosed. When a cable is immovably held in the cable holder, the both holder halves are assembled together to build a single cable holder in the closed state. The one holder half includes a coupling hook and the other holder half includes a receiving portion. The coupling hook is brought in engagement with the receiving portion when the both holder halves are assembled together in the closed state. A groove is formed in the other holder half to guide movement of the coupling hook in the inward direction when the both holder halves are assembled together.

Abstract: A hanging folder suspension system for use with different sizes of file cabinets and different sizes of hanging folders and which is suitable for compact storage. The system includes a frame which is made of a pair of frame elements which have a column member and at least one horizontal bracket member and is integrally made of reinforced plastic. The frame elements can be locked together in a laterally adjustable manner to accommodate different size folders. A pair of multi-component rails which are adjustable to the length of the file cabinet are provided and engage rail positioning channels in the frame elements to secure the rails into the frame and form an upright rigid structure in a working position. The rails include at least two rail elements which are joined by a connecting bracket. When disassembled, the frame and rail elements fit into a compact storage box suitable for handling by standard processing facilities.

Abstract: A merchandise display system is disclosed having a base member and back member joined together with said base member generally horizontal and said back member generally vertical. A plurality of divider receiving slots are formed in each of said base member and back member. A plurality of dividers are received within the slots. A forward edge of the base member slot is provided with a generally vertical wall. A lock is provided on each of the dividers to lock the divider to the forward wall upon insertion of the divider into the slots.

Abstract: A combination paint wiping bar and rest for a paint brush has a blade edge and a pair of opposing beveled surfaces which act to funnel paint scraped from a brush into the open mouth of a paint can. These surfaces also aid in shaping the bristles into a wedge for the smooth and even application of paint. The bar is held in place over the open mouth of a paint can by means of two spring clips or, in an alternate construction, by use of an undulating rim which mates with the paint can's rim. Handles are provided for installing and removing the paint bar.

Abstract: A merchandiser-holder (10) is adapted to display at least one wine bottle (11) to customers on a table in a restaurant or the like. The holder (10) comprises a base plate (12) having a centrally disposed post (17) secured thereon and a retaining plate (15) is spaced above the base plate and mounted on the post. An extension (23) of the post functions as a fastener to releasably secure the retaining plate (15) on the post (17) and the wine bottle (11) in the holder.

Abstract: A mounting clip for trash bags used in automobiles comprises an elongated channel having a continuous rear wall and two upwardly projecting hooks spaced apart by a distance sufficient so that the flexible hook-type handles on a disposable plastic carrying bag commonly available in stores can be held by the corresponding hooks of the clip. A pair of elongated bendable mounting strips are spaced apart and permanently secured to the rear wall of the channel. Each strip is bendable into any desired configuration and capable of being reconfigured if desired. The strips are preferably made from metal to provide self-supporting properties and the ability to be bent and reconfigured. The clip is removably connected to any part of an automobile dashboard, such as the upper edge of a glove compartment door or an ashtray, followed by closing the door or ashtray over the strips to hold the clip in its fixed position for connection to the flexible handles of the disposable plastic carrying bag.

Abstract: The invention provides an apparatus for conveying a pile of photosensitive printing plates in which a support is covered thereon with photosensitive resin. The apparatus comprises a base plate and a pair of end plates for holding the pile of photosensitive printing plates therebetween. The pair of end plates is vertically mounted on the base plate so that the pile of photosensitive printing plates is vertically held between the pair of end plates on the base plate.
