Abstract: A rail slideably supports transparent checkout dividers with open bottoms in an upright position along a sidewall of a checkout conveyor. The rail has a perpendicular wall formed on a base. The base is affixed to the top of the sidewall or into a channel formed on the sidewall and the dividers are slid along the rail towards a distal end for access by the customers. A stop prevents the dividers from leaving the rail at the distal end. The perpendicular wall extends upwards into an open bottom in the checkout dividers and keeps the dividers in the upright position allowing any advertising displayed thereon to be un-obscured and oriented to be visible at all times.

Abstract: A shelf device for mounting on an inside surface of a cooler door comprises a bottom panel and left and right mounting flanges connected to the bottom panel along left and right side edge portions thereof. Each flange has a pair of openings therein vertically spaced from one another and adapted to mount and support the shelf device. A partition panel is connected to the bottom panel and divides the bottom panel into a plurality of compartments. Vertically extending ribs are attached to the partition panel at junctions of adjacent compartments. A display panel insert is received by slots in the ribs and recesses in the mounting flanges.

Abstract: A bag and system for dispensing thermoplastic bags or the like from a stack of bags. The present system is configured for point of use dispensing to a customer, such as in the produce section of a grocery store or market. Each bag pack is dispensed from a station which includes an underlying, medially situated, angled bag pack support, configured to provide optimal support for the user in opening and removing the bag to be dispensed from the bag pack. Further contemplated is a unique cover which partially envelopes the bag pack to be dispensed, the cover defining an opening formed therethrough for the dispensing of bags therethrough, the opening configured to define the area for optimal dispensing of the bags while maintaining the remaining bags in a uniform bag pack. The cover not only facilitates uniform dispensing of bags from the pack, but also holds the pack down when the system is used in windy conditions.

Abstract: A sliding closet organizer for mounting on an interior vertical surface of a closet wall includes a substantially two-dimensional vertical storage rack and a sliding means adapted for attachment to the interior vertical closet wall surface, wherein the sliding means guides the vertical storage rack into a first stored position and a second deployed position.

Abstract: The spice rack of the present invention comprises a rotatable carriage having elongated tracks with opposite ends for frictionally engaging the sidewalls of spice containers so as to grip and hold the containers in the tracks. A plurality of containers can be received in each track. The carriage includes a central tube which is adapted to be rotatably mounted upon a spindle or upon the arms of a paper towel rack. The spindle is supported at opposite ends by boards or plates. In one embodiment, a back wall extends between the end boards so that the carriage can be mounted on a wall in a horizontal or vertical orientation, or be hung beneath a kitchen wall cabinet.

Abstract: A device for housing and retaining objects to be displayed, comprising a fixed upright housing at least one rotating element in the form of a circle segment, the circumference of which consists of an annular edge extending over a center angle such as to define an empty arc with a suitable center angle, the outer surface of the annular edge being provided with teeth extending over a suitable angular section and able to engage with means for transmission of the movement to the said rotating element, so as to cause a rotation of the latter able to bring the free end of the annular edge from a first angular position at a distance from the fixed upright into a second angular position in contact with the said fixed upright and vice versa.

Abstract: The present invention is directed to a device for retaining substrates (S), such as wafers or silicon substrates for the production of photovoltaic elements. The device includes opposing walls (1) that are interconnected by at least two rod-like carrier elements (2, 3) that are provided with a retaining means (5) for retaining the substrates (S) in a vertical position oriented parallel to the walls (1). At least one rod-like counter carrier element (4) is also provided and interconnects the two walls (1). The counter carrier element (4) is positioned in relation to the carrier elements (2, 3) so that vertical movement of the substrates (S) relative to the walls (1) is limited and loading or unloading of the substrates (S) is possible at a slant in relation to the vertical direction (V).

Abstract: A closet partition system includes a simplified arrangement that reduces the number of steps required for installation and eliminates difficult manipulations, whereby an individual may easily install a closet partition system without requiring assistance. The mounting rail and bracket provide stable support that prevents the possibility of accidental dislodgement of the bracket from the mounting rail. The mounting rail includes a vertical back for attachment to a wall, a horizontal ledge projecting from the back, and a hook having a first section extending horizontally from the back and a second section extending downwardly toward the ledge. The bracket includes an elongate notch extending downwardly from an upper edge of the bracket for receiving the second section of the hook. This arrangement provides a closet partition system that is easy to use, capable of providing very high load bearing capability, and facilitates repeated disassembly and reassembly without degradation of the components.

The curtain rod mount includes a central curtain rod that is adjustable in length, allowing an individual to mount the curtain rod mount in a window frame of a window without the need for drilling holes or hammering nails.

Abstract: A cassette system for disks to be manufactured into hard disks for computer memory storage includes a pair of end portions and a pair of side wall portions spanning between the end portions, defining a disk receiving region. The side wall portions together define a plurality of axially aligned slots for holding the disks. At least one of the end portions includes a test disk receiver, which may be a slot or pocket.

Abstract: A clamping cartridge is provided which comprises a plurality of clamping mechanisms spaced apart on a frame or chassis. The clamping mechanisms are generally oriented perpendicular to their direction of spacing. The clamping mechanisms are of the type which comprise a pair of relatively movable jaws which are normally biased towards one another such that they resist opening and which return to a closed or substantially closed condition in the absence of external forces. An actuator operable in association with the clamping mechanisms serves to open and close the jaws of the clamping mechanisms in unison. The actuator includes a series of rotatable tapered cylindrical cam wheels disposed on a rotatable cam shaft to ultimately effect opening and closing of the clamps, which cam wheels are disposed generally within the clamps. By providing apertures or slots in the jaws of the clamps to accommodate the cam shaft, a considerable reduction in the height of the cartridge can be realized.

Abstract: A cassette (1) for holding and transporting substrates includes a chassis (11), a pair of supporting walls (30) facing each other, a pair of first pivot elements (40), and a pair of second pivot elements (42). The first and second pivot elements are pivotally connected to the chassis and supporting walls, respectively. Each of the supporting walls includes a plurality of supporting members (301) protruding inwardly therefrom. The chassis and the supporting walls define a space for accommodating the substrates on the supporting members. A distance between the supporting walls can be easily adjusted by pivoting the pivot elements. Thus the space defined by the chassis and the supporting walls is adjusted accordingly, in order to accommodate substrates of a particular size. The cassette is adaptable for use with substrates of various sizes simply by pivoting the pivot elements.

Abstract: A shelving apparatus is disclosed which includes a mounting frame configured for attachment to a surface and a plurality of holding shelves. The mounting frame includes a plurality of mounting holes formed therethrough and the plurality of holding shelves are configured to engage the mounting holes. The holding shelves area separately mountable to the mounting frame vertically opposed to one another such that an item inserted between the holding shelves is engaged by the holding shelves.

Abstract: A toothbrush and toothpaste holder of the type that has two different cylindrical-shapes of which one side is a usual cup shape where a toothpaste can be stored while the other side that the cylinder has higher degrees of taper and shrinking down to the bottom where is open but has a cone shaped post with eight dividers that could hold eight toothbrushes in a sanitary position automatically by gravity.

The grid (1) has a perimeter wall (2) bounding a number of locating cells (3) defined by walls (6) and (7) extending from a floor (4). Primary locating walls (6) are dimensioned to receive the base of a larger object and to resist lateral movement thereof. Secondary locating walls (7), each encompassed by a primary locating wall (6), are dimensioned to receive the base of a second, smaller object and to resist lateral movement thereof. The secondary locating walls (7) are eccentrically located within the primary locating walls (6). Stop means (10) and (11) depend from the underside of the grid (1). In use, a column is constructed by placing a grid (1) between adjacent layers of objects in a stack.

This storage surface assembly is well suited for use in many industrial and/or commercial applications, where storage shelves must bear heavy loads and maintain their structural integrity while complying with fire codes requiring some amount of open area along the surface of the shelf. Therefore, there is provided a storage surface assembly for use in a standard commercial racking assembly, the storage surface assembly comprising a pair of extension members, and a plurality of traverse members extending between the pair of extension members, wherein the traverse members can be attached to the extension members by various methods, based on the requirements dictated by a particular storage environment.
