  • Patent number: 12144385
Abstract: A fully adjustable hybrid personal cooling and heating system is configured to remove or supply heat from/to a human user. The system is specifically designed to provide up to 8-hours of high efficiency adjustable cooling or heating when worn and operated by a user. The personal cooling and heating system use non-toxic room-temperature liquid metal as primary coolant and phase-change material as secondary coolant. The primary coolant is pumped using an active powered pump which absorbs heat from the user's body, and passively release the heat to the secondary coolant making the invention of a hybrid cooling/heating system. Passive heat release is facilitated by extreme high thermal conductivity of the primary coolant. Also, the secondary coolant is thermally insulated from the environment allowing on-demand heat absorption only from the primary coolant.

  • Patent number: 12109869
Abstract: A temperature adjusting device includes a heat radiation portion and a refrigeration cycle device. The heat radiation portion radiates heat of a target object to outside air. The refrigeration cycle device has a condenser and an evaporator. The condenser condenses a high-pressure refrigerant discharged from a compressor that compresses and discharges a refrigerant. The evaporator evaporates a low-pressure refrigerant pressure-reduced in a pressure reducing portion that reduces a pressure of the high-pressure refrigerant. The condenser radiates heat of the high-pressure refrigerant to at least part of the outside air that has passed through the heat radiation portion. The heat radiation portion radiates the heat of the target object to the outside air before heat of the outside air is absorbed in the condenser.
