Abstract: Media data for a live event such as a horse race, associated real-time data, and contextually related asynchronous data are presented to an end user. A content delivery network distributes the media data and a server distributes the associated real-time data. A time synchronization module combines the media data with the associated real-time data based on a correspondence of temporal data and outputs an integrated data feed. A contextual relating module identifies asynchronous data stored by an asynchronous data storage as contextually relevant to the integrated data feed, outputs the contextually relevant asynchronous data, and records the integrated data feed and contextually relevant asynchronous data for playback as an integrated data combination. A client device executes an application for presenting to the end user the data included in the integrated data feed output by the time synchronization module along with contextually relevant asynchronous data output by the contextual relating module.

Abstract: Asynchronous message delivery to a media player is defined wherein the message provides instructions to change the SMIL (or XML) based play list dynamically at runtime without creation or provision of any entirely new play list. This play list modification does not result in a visible, distracting transition as would normally occur during an instruction to reload the SMIL play list. Changes to the media presentation occur without the visually disruptive page reload.

Abstract: Propagating user feedback on shared posts is described, including receiving a user indication associated with repost content. The repost content is associated with post content. The post content includes at least one item provided on a website. The repost content includes at least one other item provided on another website or the website, and the at least one other item is associated with the at least one item. The repost content is determined to be associated with the post content. Post feedback data based on the user indication is identified. The post feedback data is associated with the post content, and the post feedback data represents previous user indication. The post feedback data is updated based on the user indication.

Abstract: The present disclosure includes a system and method for automatic page layout. One automatic page layout method includes dividing a plurality of ordered graphical items into groups, and bisecting a space into regions having a reading order corresponding to an order of the ordered graphical items, each region corresponding to one of the groups and being sized according to a first layout characteristic of the ordered graphical items of the region's corresponding group in proportion to a second layout characteristic of the plurality of ordered graphical items. An output is caused in which each region has been filled with that region's associated group of ordered graphical items.

Abstract: Described herein are techniques related to a renderer-assisted webpage navigating tool. This Abstract is submitted with the understanding that it will not be used to interpret or limit the scope and meaning of the claims. A renderer-assisted webpage navigating tool implements keyboard shortcuts that allow a user to navigate within a webpage based on the physical locations and physical relationships of webpage graphical elements relative to each other.

Abstract: In an embodiment, a hierarchical user interface replaces a native one-dimensional horizontal navigation system with a multi-dimensional hierarchical tree structure for organizing and navigating spreadsheet workbooks. The interface allows users to visualize the full structure and content of workbooks, quickly navigate to and select sheets, and organize workbooks in a more logical manner than sequential tabs allow.

Abstract: Some embodiments relate to identifying grammatical errors in text that has been automatically generated from a template. The text may be scanned to identify, for example, errors in punctuation, spacing, and capitalization. When an error in the text is identified, it may be corrected. Some embodiments relate to automatically formatting lists in text that is generated from a template. For example, a template may include a tag that specifies a list of elements. A formatting parameter may be determined that specifies whether to format the list as an enumerated list or a textual sentence. Output text may then be generated that includes the list in the proper format.

Abstract: The present invention relates to the field of graphic design. Specifically, embodiments of the present invention provide a system and method of generating a design template, such as a website template, that matches the color and style of graphical content, such as a logo provided to the system.

Abstract: Techniques for representing and publishing an interactive document useful for analyzing data. The document may be represented as a directed acyclic graph of entities interconnected by edges. The entities may be of multiple types. Yet, a broad range of interactive documents may be represented by a limited number of types of entities and the capabilities to interconnect entities of different types and to share a data schema across entities of different types. A tool may enable a user to author such documents. The tool may also facilitate publishing of the document. For publishing, the document may be converted to an executable form. Prior to such a conversion, the graph may be modified for more efficient processing. The graph may also be partitioned such that portions of the graph, when distributed across tiers of a computing system, such as a cloud-based platform, execute on computing devices that provide efficient operation.

Abstract: Assistance for document creation in a computer system which allows at least one agent to be registered therein is provided. The computer system causes the at least one agent to monitor input by a user during the document creation, acquire information on the input obtained by the monitoring, retrieve at least one content from multiple contents accumulated in a storage unit based on the acquired information, and transmit the retrieved at least one content to a display unit to display the retrieved content on a screen.

Abstract: A system for creating image and or text-based projects from a computing appliance includes a server connected to a network, the server having access to a processor, a data repository, and a non-transitory physical medium. Software running from the non-transitory physical medium provides a first function for establishing a client server connection between the server and a computing appliance connected to the network, a second function for initiating an active data session between the computing appliance and a data server, a third function for storing a database of zip codes with the relevant cities and states on the user-operated computing appliance, a fourth function for detecting when a user enters a zip code onto a form field, a fifth function for looking up the entered zip code, and a sixth function for retrieving the associated city and state information and auto-populating the text fields associated with the zip code.

Abstract: A method for dynamic display of at least one layer in a PDF document, comprising the steps of setting at least one criterion for at least one property of a trigger to change a display state of the at least one layer of the PDF document to another display state of the at least one layer of the PDF document, creating a script that can be processed by a PDF document reader and that contains the at least one criterion for the at least one property of the trigger, and embedding the script in the PDF document, wherein when the PDF document is opened by the PDF document reader, the script causes evaluation of the at least one property for the trigger, and if the at least one criterion for the at least one property of the trigger is met, then the script causes a change of the display state of the at least one layer of the PDF document.

Abstract: Systems and methods for prioritizing content generation in a distributed content system are described herein. In one aspect, content parameters are defined and prioritized according to various characteristics of the content. Type and subject matter of the content may influence content parameter definition and prioritization. Additionally, the position and size of the content within an interactive display may impact the priority assigned to the content parameters. As the content parameters are processed, an analysis tool may determine blocking data which inhibits or delays presentation or processing. Accordingly, the system may request the blocking data from other devices in the system in order to continue generating content.

Abstract: A method of managing content includes analyzing a plurality of referring uniform resource locators (URLs); extracting, from each of the referring URLs, website data and a parameter having a parameter value; generating website parameter pairs based on the website data and the parameters of the referring URLs; determining a diversity metric, for each website parameter pair, based on variety of parameter values of the website parameter pair; selecting a website parameter pair having a diversity metric exceeding a determined threshold; and generating a template for parsing a referring URL of the selected website parameter pair.

Abstract: An apparatus and method for controlling an application in a wireless terminal to automatically download an application on a home screen classified on a category basis. Abstract: Systems and methods for suggesting a pause position within electronic text are disclosed herein. According to an aspect, a method may include receiving identification of a current user position within electronic text residing on an electronic device. For example, a current user position may be a page of an e-book that is currently being displayed to a reader or user. The method may include determining a suggested pause position within the electronic text based on the current user position. For example, the suggested pause position may be determined based on the reader's profile, a reading behavior of other readers, metadata, or combinations thereof. The method may also include presenting the suggested pause position on a user interface of the electronic device.

Abstract: There is revealed a progressive and conditional delivery of digital contents. A given master digital content is previously divided in content blocks, each content block being associated with related content blocks presenting particular hierarchical and dependency characteristics. Responsive to user selection of the master digital content, for each selected content block, there is checked first the display of each related content block and upon positive checking there is displayed the considered selected content block. There is further disclosed steps of checking display performed from an analog capture of the user interface or from video frame buffer memory data. There may be detected predefined marks. There may be performed image similarity comparisons or image matching tests with expected images associated with content blocks. There are also disclosed predefined encryption keys being used to decipher one or a plurality of content blocks.

Abstract: A queuing method and system. The method includes retrieving by a computer processor of a stationary computing system or a computing device, queue data placing an individual onto an initial queue list for receiving a service and ID data identifying the individual. The computer processor presents a status of the individual with respect to the queue list. The computer processor receives a request associated with the service and in response presents options for the individual. The computer processor receives a selection for an option and generates a modified queue list.

Abstract: Techniques are described to convert vector graphics into fonts. In one or more implementations, web content is received that includes one or more vector graphics. Each of the one or more vector graphics are flattened to form a path that describes a corresponding image of a respective vector graphic. A font file is formed that includes, for each path, a glyph and an identifier that is usable to identify the glyph. A stylesheet file is also created having a class that corresponds to the glyph and corresponding identifier.

Abstract: Systems and methods of evaluating information in a computer network environment are provided. A data processing system can obtain or receive a content placement criterion, such as a keyword, associated with a content item and can determine a quality metric of the content placement criterion. The data processing system can identify a candidate content placement criterion and expand placement criteria associated with the content item to include the content placement criterion and the candidate content placement criterion based at least in part on an evaluation of the quality metric of the content placement criterion. The data processing system can expand placement criteria based in part on a throttling parameter. The data processing system can identify a correlation between a document and the placement criteria to identify appropriate content items for the document.
