Abstract: A method and system are provided which allow for the standardization of object-oriented metadata for units of supplemental data and the improved association of video assets with objects. By defining such a standard, metadata can be added that addresses the lack of creative control and flexibility for authors of supplemental content and interactive elements. The system provided generates objects and a separate object track which is associated with specific assets in the audio/video tracks of produced content. According to one embodiment, the system provided may be implemented to include a central object database. Each object record may include an object's unique identification, a description of the object, and additional production details. Objects may be defined in local and central databases prior to and even during production. By defining a standard for supplemental and interactive data as objects, common objects may be referenced more efficiently, and the objects themselves may be represented (e.g.

Abstract: A method for generating a matrix of graphical content items to be displayed on at least one client computing device having a display is described. The method is implemented by a server computing device communicatively coupled to a database and to the at least one client computing device. The method includes retrieving, from the database, a plurality of textual content items, a link to a landing page associated with each textual content item, and an image associated with at least a part of the landing page. The method also includes generating a matrix including a plurality of portions, including, for each portion of the matrix, selecting one of the plurality of textual content items, and including, in the portion, text from the selected textual content item, the image associated with the landing page, and the link to the landing page, and transmitting data for display of the matrix to the client computing device.

Abstract: In various embodiments, methods, systems, and non-transitory computer-readable media are disclosed that allow developers working within desktop applications to create application-specific documents that integrate with web-based applications. Using a desktop integration framework, a developer can design documents having components that provide user interfaces to data associated with data models of the web-based applications. In one aspect, how a component looks and is configured can be dynamically driven at runtime based on metadata of its underlying data model.

Abstract: A system and method relate to identifying a first color associated with a document, and versions of data to be added to the document are associated with, respectively, a plurality of second colors. The first color and the plurality of second colors are compared to form comparison results, and a particular version of the added content is selected from the plurality of versions of the data based on the comparison results. A modified document that includes the particular version of the data is formed and provided to the client device.

Abstract: In various embodiments, methods, systems, and non-transitory computer-readable media are disclosed that allow developers to provide automatic column resizing in spreadsheet software using a desktop integration framework. The width of a column usually can only be set at or to hard-wired widths or manually adjusted to fit (even with a manually triggered auto adjustment function). This feature adds the ability to control column widths in tables at run time.

Abstract: A notes system is presented with a content management system. The notes system manages creation and distribution of edits to notes to users sharing the notes. The notes are stored as a series of edits at the notes system. When an edit to a note is received, the edit is propagated to users subscribed to a note by a backend server responsible for managing the note. The shared users are notified through application servers associated with each shared user. The notes server includes various indices for searching the notes and allows notes to be searched quickly to organize viewing by a user of notes and identification of relevant material in the notes. The stored edits are used to display edits to a note to a user by replaying the accessed note to the user.

The apparatus includes a documentation presentation module configured to visually present a list of documents within a documentation frame. The content of one or more documents selected from the list of documents may also be visually presented. The online documentation framework may facilitate navigation of the documentation package. The apparatus also includes a documentation review module configured to receive and store comments associated with at least one document in the documentation package. The comments may be stored on a computer readable storage medium. The apparatus includes an integration module configured to integrate the documentation review application into the online documentation framework such that comments associated with the at least one document of the documentation package may be one or more of submitted and viewed from within the online documentation framework.

Abstract: Systems and methods for checking for redirection of a content item are provided. A first web page identified by a first uniform resource locator (URL), the first web page comprising a content item. The first URL is stored in a memory element. After a predetermined period of time elapses, a second URL associated with a second web page rendered by the browser is identified. A discrepancy between the first URL and the second URL is detected. Responsive to the discrepancy detection, the content item is identified as ineligible for participation in an online auction system.

Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for rendering an assessment item. A document encoded in a markup language is received. The document includes data that relates to at least one of an appearance and content of an assessment item, and the document includes a reference to a content file. The content file is retrieved, where the content file includes computer-executable instructions for generating an interactive graphical representation for display on a display device. The interactive graphical representation includes one or more features with which a user interacts to respond to the assessment item. The computer-executable instructions are executed based on the data of the document to generate the interactive graphical representation. Data generated based on user manipulation of the one or more features is received. The data generated from the user manipulation is processed to generate a modified graphical representation responsive to the assessment item.

Abstract: A system and method for the generation of candidate domain names and potential website content are presented. The method includes receiving, by at least one server communicatively coupled to a network, a request to access or purchase access to a software application, the request being received from a user. Keywords associated with at least one of the user, a website of the user, and a business of the user may be generated and a candidate domain name relevant to the keywords may be generated. A drill-down survey may be presented to collect information from the user that the user thinks is relevant to the generation of a candidate domain name or potential website content. The survey responses are aggregated and then analyzed to generate one or more candidate domain names and/or to suggest potential website content.

Abstract: In some implementations, a user may use an electronic device to consume content of a content item in a non-linear or noncontiguous manner. The electronic device may display a consumption representation in connection with the content item. The consumption representation may represent locations of portions of content of the content item that have been consumed. In addition, the electronic device may track the consumption of the content using various techniques for determining whether a particular portion of content is likely to have been consumed. In some examples, the consumption representation may be displayed with an indicator to indicate the presence of embedded content that may be provided with certain content items. Abstract: Technologies are described herein for converting presentations between differing slide dimensions and aspect ratios. A scaling factor is calculated from the difference between the original dimensions of the slide and the new dimensions of the converted slide. Next, the content objects on the slide are scaled based on the scaling factor such that the aspect ratio of the content object is maintained. A horizontal position zone and vertical position zone is determined for each content object on the slide, and new coordinates for the position of the content objects are calculated utilizing formulas based on the horizontal position zone and a vertical position zone determined for each.

Abstract: Disclosed are methods, circuits, devices, systems and associated computer executable code for composing composite content. According to embodiments, there is provided an authoring device which may facilitate acquisition or generation of one or more content segments at least partially based on one or more portions of a composite content authoring template. According to further embodiments, content segments produced by the authoring device may be automatically processed in accordance with instructions embedded within the same template used by the authoring device.
