Abstract: A data routing method includes: receiving a route distinguisher of an MME serving UE sent by the MME; determining an information transmission manner supported by the MME; receiving_a query message sent by an MTC-IWF, where the query message carries a user equipment UE identifier and an information transmission manner that needs to be used; determining according to the information transmission manner supported by the MME, the UE identifier, and the information transmission manner that needs to be used, that the MME serving the UE supports the information transmission manner that needs to be used; and sending a route distinguisher of the MME that corresponds to the information transmission manner that needs to be used to the MTC-IWF, so that the MTC-IWF performs routing according to the route distinguisher. Therefore, a most effective transmission path is selected for information transmission, thereby improving service experience of a user.

  • Patent number: 9843906
Abstract: A repeater receives a first group message directed to a talk group. The repeater assigns a first unique message identifier including a generated first sequence number to the first group message. The repeater broadcasts the first group message with the first unique message identifier and the unique talk group address to the talk group. The repeater later receives a second group message directed to the talk group, generates a second sequence number from the generated first sequence number, assigns a second unique message identifier including the second sequence number to the second group message and broadcasts the second group message to the talk group. The first sequence number and the second sequence number may be used by a receiving radio of the talk group to determine if the radio failed to receive one or more group messages or if a received group messages is a duplicate message.

  • Patent number: 9838942
Abstract: A technique for implementing AP-local dynamic switching involves Layer 2 switching. This may be accomplished by providing data associated with wireless stations to an AP sufficient to enable the AP to determine whether traffic from a particular wireless station should be locally switched. Alternatively, the wireless station may be able to determine whether to locally switch traffic based upon the traffic itself. For example, it may be desirable to AP-locally switch voice traffic to avoid latency, which is particularly detrimental to voice transmissions such as voice-over-IP. Traffic that is not to be switched locally is Layer 2 tunneled upstream.

  • Patent number: 9838300
Abstract: An apparatus and method routes data over network links based on a temperature of the network links. When the temperature of a link meets a first threshold a routing mechanism re-routes a portion of the network traffic over a lower temperature link to reduce the likelihood that the link will exceed a second threshold that necessitates that the link be throttled back or disabled. Re-routing data to cooler links allows the system to maintain the lowest possible temperature of the network links to gain optimal performance of the system. In the disclosed example, the network links include interconnect cable connections and backplane connections. A temperature of the network links is determined by monitoring a region of an integrated circuit near a line driver driving the network link.

  • Patent number: 9819517
Abstract: In performing SVD-MIMO transmission, a set-up procedure is simplified while assuring a satisfactory decoding capability with a reduced number of antennas. A transmitter estimates channel information based on reference signals sent from a receiver, determines a transmit antenna weighting coefficient matrix based on the channel information, calculates a weight to be assigned to each of components of a multiplexed signal, and sends, to the receiver, training signals for respective signal components, the training signals being weighted by the calculated weights. On the other hand, the receiver determines a receive antenna weighting coefficient matrix based on the received training signals.

  • Patent number: 9820264
Abstract: A plurality of physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) groups comprise a primary PUCCH group comprising a primary cell and a secondary PUCCH group comprising a PUCCH secondary cell. The wireless device deactivates the PUCCH secondary cell after a deactivation condition for the PUCCH secondary cell is met. The wireless device stops receiving downlink shared channel transport blocks on a first secondary cell in the secondary PUCCH group after deactivation of the PUCCH secondary cell. • Patent number: 9794026
Abstract: Real-time selection of interference cancellation schemes based on transmission parameters and amount of resource overlap between the desired payload and the interfering payload. Codeword level interference cancellation may be performed where the signal quality of the interfering signal indicates that the interfering payload will be decoded correctly. When performed, codeword level interference cancellation may be monitored to determine if decoding the interfering payload is converging. Other interference cancellation schemes may be selected based on the signal quality of the interfering signal or non-converging decode of the interfering payload. The number of iterations for iterative decoding in codeword level interference cancellation may be dynamically selected. The decoder output (e.g., soft bits) may be used to perform interference cancellations before the decoder is fully converged.
