  • Patent number: 9262752
Abstract: A system and machine-implemented method for suggesting a user for an event within a social networking site is provided. The method includes receiving a social suggestion indication from a first user of the social networking site and determining, using the one or more computing devices, an event associated with the first user. The method also includes accessing a data structure storing a plurality of user models comprising social information of users, and comparing, using the one or more computing devices, the event with the plurality of user models, to determine a second user model from the plurality of user models, based on a predetermined criteria. The method further includes identifying a second user associated with the second user model, and generating a user suggestion identifying the second user.

  • Patent number: 9124541
Abstract: Techniques are provided for zero copy accelerated processing of packets received at a network device according to a session oriented protocol. Each packet comprises a header field and a payload field. Data in the header field of a byte is evaluated to determine whether a sequence number in the header field is equal to an expected sequence number for a given flow of packets. When the sequence number in the header field is equal to the expected sequence number, header data from the header field is stored in a header ring comprising a plurality of socket buffers and payload data is directed to an application buffer pool according to a pointer in a streaming data ring. When the sequence number in the header field is not equal to the expected sequence number, the header data and the payload data are stored in the header ring.

  • Patent number: 9026599
Abstract: Method and system for transferring a message, comprising routing information relating to the intended recipient of the message and content information, from a first node via a second node to a third node in a communications network. According to the invention, a repository is associated with the second node. The method comprises the steps of: transmitting the message from the first node to the second node; storing data representative of the content information in the repository of the second node; replacing, by the second node, in the message, the content information by a token; transmitting the message, comprising the routing information and the token, from the second node to the third node; retrieving, by the third node, the content information from the second node; and replacing by the third node, in the message, the token by the content information.

  • Patent number: 8924557
Abstract: In accordance with various embodiments, systems and methods that integrate threshold management into a SCIM/Service Broker are provided. Such a system can include a plurality of applications, executing on one or more application servers. The system can also include a SCIM/Service Broker which is operable to manage a threshold set by the applications. Each application can determine an application threshold, a current threshold and a met threshold. When an application receives a message from the SCIM/Service Broker, the application can determine if the met threshold exists and, if the met threshold exists, update the application threshold accordingly. The application can also determine if the application threshold has been met, and if the application threshold has been met, execute business logic associated with the application threshold and set a new application threshold. The application sends a request to SCIM/Service Broker requesting a new current threshold value be set.
