  • Patent number: 11228340
Abstract: A method of operation on an Ethernet network having multiple Ethernet links interconnected via a network device. The method includes detecting installation of a new Ethernet link in the Ethernet network utilizing the network device. A link training process is then initiated for the new Ethernet link. The link training process includes transmitting training data at a first transmit power level and first data rate to a link partner during a data transfer interval. Network feedback information is then accessed, including performance metrics associated with the multiple Ethernet links during the training data transfer interval. The first data rate and/or first transmit power level are then adjusted to an adjusted second data rate and/or second transmit power level based on the network feedback information.

  • Patent number: 11184913
Abstract: Example embodiments presented herein are directed towards a base station and corresponding method for scheduling a downlink broadcast transmission using PDSCH. The base station is also configured to provide an OFDM PDSCH to a wireless terminal, which monitors ePDCCH for receiving downlink control data. Thus, by applying such a symbol, a wireless terminal that monitors ePDCCH and a wireless terminal that monitors PDCCH may receive the same downlink broadcast transmission on PDSCH. Example embodiments are also directed towards a wireless terminal for receiving such downlink broadcast transmissions.

  • Patent number: 11178647
Abstract: Various communication systems may benefit from a reduction in latency. For example, communication systems may benefit from an improved transmission of an uplink reference signal in an uplink channel. A method, in certain embodiments, includes determining by a user equipment a candidate location of a transmission of an uplink reference signal in a channel. The method also includes determining by the user equipment a triggering window associated with the candidate location of the transmission of the uplink reference signal in the channel. In addition, the method includes receiving an uplink grant for a data transmission from a base station. Further, the method includes transmitting the uplink reference signal based on the uplink grant being at least partially within the triggering window.

  • Patent number: 11172407
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described that provide for partitioning of time-frequency resources for types of traffic separately. A centralized scheduler in a centralized system or a set of access nodes (ANs) in a distributed system may allocate a portion of a set of resources for a first traffic type (e.g., control or data traffic). In some cases, multiple ANs may exchange reports or measurements to determine the resources to allocate to a given traffic type. The allocated resources may be repurposed for use by a different traffic type (e.g., data traffic resources may be repurposed an used for control traffic resources) in order to account for varying traffic conditions (e.g., unscheduled control traffic).

  • Patent number: 11140077
Abstract: Disclosed are examples of systems, apparatus, devices, computer program products, and methods implementing aspects of a decentralized system for security and access control associated with digital content. In some implementations, a software stack is executed to provide fabric nodes of an overlay network. A transaction encrypted with a private key of a client can be recorded in a ledger identifying addresses of fabric nodes of the overlay network. The transaction can be identified by a transaction identifier (ID), and the private key can be part of a public/private key pair representing an account of the client on the ledger. A digital contract can be invoked, where the digital contract represents one or more terms of access for digital content stored in the overlay network. Controlled client access to the digital content can be based on an authorization token obtained from the client.

  • Patent number: 11064417
Abstract: A node maps end-user bearers to backhaul bearers in an adaptation layer. • Patent number: 11057907
Abstract: This disclosure describes techniques that enable a telecommunication network to share available bandwidth within a cell of a base station node between different air-interface technologies, such as Long-Term Evolution (LTE) and 5G-New Radio (5G-NR). The available bandwidth may be shared based on bandwidth allocation rules and an analysis of network traffic, in real-time. Moreover, a Spectrum Sharing Optimization (SSO) system is described that can generate optimization data for delivery to a base station node. The optimization data may include computer-executable instructions that dynamically make use of time-division (i.e. configuring MBSFN subframes) and frequency-division techniques (i.e. configuring BWPs) to share available bandwidth within the cell of the base station node.

  • Patent number: 11038991
Abstract: An abnormality detection device includes: a receiver, a reception predictor, frame information storage, and an abnormality determiner. The receiver receives a communication frame via a communication network. The frame information storage stores information regarding the communication frame. The reception predictor calculates and sets a predicted time range including a scheduled reception time of the communication frame of a target frame type from among a plurality of frame types received by the receiver by referencing the frame information storage and the reception time of the communication frame when the communication frame is received. The abnormality determiner determines the target communication frame is an abnormal frame when the target communication frame is received at a time outside the predicted reception range.

  • Patent number: 11019559
Abstract: A method of very high throughput (VHT) operation information subfields design for IEEE 802.11 WLAN is proposed. The VHT operation information subfields comprise a channel width, a channel center frequency segment 0 (CCFS0), and a channel center frequency segment 1 (CCFS1). Multiple definitions of the VHT operation information subfields have been adopted by different access points (AP)s and wireless stations (STAs). In accordance with one novel aspect, upon receiving the VHT operation information element broadcasted by an AP, an STA will first check the channel width indicated by the AP. The STA then follows different definitions under different channel widths. Under such method, the STA can support up to 160 MHz operation mode with APs following different definitions and operating up to 160 MHz mode.
