The server can also receive sixth data from the first client relating to an actor event including an information indicating content displayed at the display device has changed from the first view to a second view that is intended to be shared with the at least one participant. Upon receipt of the actor event at the web collaboration server, a time window can be opened for a predetermined amount of time. The server can send an alert to provide notification that a data mismatch may occur to trigger a checking procedure in the event a second data is received relating to a pointing event within the still open time window.

Abstract: A server configured to provide web-based services over a network may include one or more processors configured to receive a request from a user device for access to a web-based service. In response, the server may download, to the user device, information for rendering an initial web resource by a web client of the user device, and software instructions configured to cause the web client to: intercept a web request to the server; determine, based on the web request, a main web document and ancillary web documents designated to be downloaded for rendering a particular web resource; send, to the server, the web request for the main web document and, without waiting for reception of the main web document, send respective document requests for each of the ancillary web documents; receive the main web document and the ancillary web documents; and render the particular web resource using the received documents.

The method includes receiving, from a client of a web service, a request for a web component included in a web page supported by the web service, where the web component is associated with a data structure that defines design characteristics of the web component. The method further includes determining configuration parameters that define stylistic characteristics of the web component based on data attributes of the web page and the data structure associated with the web component, where the configuration parameters are determined using a model trained on a corpus of web pages supported by the web service. The method further includes transmitting, to the client and in response to the request, an indication of the configuration parameters for the web component, where the indication is configured to display the web component according to the stylistic characteristics defined by the configuration parameters.

The notifications are generated independent from the web applications.

The system allows for onboarding of various types of forms to push them out to users via multiple various user viewing channels. The system is expandable, allowing for a single backend upload of additional forms irrespective of the channel.

Abstract: This disclosure relates to generating interactive graphical visualisations of clinical and genetic data. A processor receives the clinical data indicative of observed phenotypes, accesses a database to determine associations of the observed phenotypes with disorders and accesses a second database to determine associations between the disorders and genetic properties. The processor then determines an association value for each combination of the observed phenotypes and the genetic properties based on a number of paths between them. The processor also generates a graphical user interface, comprising an arrangement of the association values and a user control element associated with the phenotypes and/or the genetic properties. Finally, upon detecting user interaction in relation to the user control element, the processor re-arranges the arrangement of the association values in the graphical user interface to reflect the detected user interaction.

Abstract: A system for format-agnostic document ingestion including a document ingestion server and a database is disclosed. The server is configured to receive an image of a document comprising text in an unknown format, convert the image, using OCR, into a plurality of text elements a content, a size, and an absolute position. The server is also configured to retrieve data detectors from the database, each associated with a data type anticipated to be in the document, and comprising at least one identifier and direction, and at least one validation criteria. The server is also configured to identify a potential descriptor by comparing the content of each text element with the at least one identifier, and then determine if the text element pointed to by the data detector meets the validation criteria. Finally, the server is configured to associate the validated text element with the data detector, and store the content.

Abstract: A technique for distributed electronic signature processing includes displaying a document for signature on a first device along with an optically-readable code. A second device scans the optically-readable code displayed by the first device, initiating a process that transfers signature entry from the first device to the second device, which may receive handwritten signatures input or otherwise provided thereon. The second device then accepts the physical signature, which is used to effectuate a signing of the document.

Abstract: One or more embodiments of the disclosure provide systems and methods for providing media presentations to users of a media presentation system. A media presentation generally includes a plurality of media segments provided by multiple users of the media presentation system. In one or more embodiments, a user of the media presentation system may share a media presentation with a co-user. The media presentation system can provide a number of features to assist a user in sharing, filtering, and accessing media presentations.
