  • Patent number: 11743393
Abstract: The disclosed system identifies and resolves telecommunication network problems and/or problems with devices utilizing the network. The system segments the user devices into groups having similar characteristics, by grouping together devices more likely to leave the network, and devices less likely to leave the network. Each group of devices has a trained machine learning model, to predict the NEX score for each device. The system focuses on devices with a low NEX score. The system determines whether the problem is with the network and/or the problem is with the device. The system gathers information from network monitoring software and determine which tower caused, for example, the call to drop. The system determines technological capability of the device from the device TAC number. The system suggests solutions to the network problems by suggesting adding a sector, tuning an antenna, etc., or if the device has problems, adjusting phone settings.

  • Patent number: 11737075
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for dynamically reallocating available transmit power on a dual connectivity user device. A retransmission rate is monitored for the user device that can simultaneously communicate using two or more wireless communication protocols. It is determined that the retransmission rate for the user device is above a threshold for communications using a first wireless communication protocol, such as LTE. Channel assignment of a second wireless communication protocol, such as 5G, is reduced, thus allowing the user device to reallocate a portion of the transmit power previously allocated for the second wireless communication protocol to the first wireless communication protocol to improve the retransmission rate for the first wireless communication protocol.

  • Patent number: 11729737
Abstract: Methods, apparatuses, and computer program products are provided for handling session requests for emergency services. Updated closed access group (CAG) configuration information can be provided to user equipment (UE) requesting an emergency session with a public land mobile network (PLMN), and the UE may update their CAG information or discontinue its session request. When the PLMN determines that the UE's session request to the PLMN was sent via a non-CAG cell, the PLMN may then determine if the session request is for emergency services, in which case the PLMN may decide to not clear or reject the session request, while if the PLMN determines that the session request via the non-CAG cell is for non-emergency services, then the PLMN may clear or reject the session request. When a session request is rejected by the PLMN, the UE may enter a deregistered state and conduct a search for a new PLMN.
