  • Patent number: 10189395
Abstract: A light bar for a motor vehicle has a plurality of lights mounted to an elongated support member is rotatably connected to opposing end walls of a rectangular frame. An offset cam is connected to the support member and moved by an actuating mechanism between a first and second position which cause the support member and lights to rotate about an axis to corresponding first and second positions. When the support frame and lights are in a first position they are shielded by and substantially enclosed by the sides and ends of the rectangular frame, and when in a second position the lights extend above and generally parallel to the rectangular frame to shine above and forward of the rectangular frame. A power switch energizes the actuating mechanism to move the lights and support member between the first and second positions.

  • Patent number: 10151447
Abstract: A lighting device includes a light source and first and second reflection surfaces. The first reflection surface reflects source light from the light source, and projects first light on first and second regions on an illuminated surface. The second region is closer to the lighting device than the first region. The second reflection surface is tinted in a prescribed color, and reflects secondary and higher-order reflection light of the source light, and projects second light on the second region. An absolute value of a difference between correlated color temperatures of the first light projected on the first region and of mixed light of the first and second lights projected on the second region is smaller than an absolute value of a difference between correlated color temperatures of the first light projected on the first region and of the first light projected on the second region.

  • Patent number: 7985003
Abstract: A forming mold of a light-emitting member includes a frame, an upper mold and a lower mold, and the frame is provided with carriers, pins and supporting portions. The upper and lower molds match with each other to provide a forming space for the base of the light-emitting member. The forming space contains the carriers and a part of the supporting portions. One or more projections are disposed at the position where the brinks of the upper and lower molds contact the supporting portions. After injection molding, the burrs formed by a plastic material along the supporting portions can be concealed in the recesses that are formed corresponding to each of the projections, thereby reducing the influence of the burrs on the external size of the base.

  • Patent number: 7954966
Abstract: A stage lighting lamp unit includes a processor for receiving control data from a remote console. Beam orientation data for the lamp unit is passed to the lamp in the form of the x, y and z co-ordinates of a point in space through which the beam is to pass. The processor divides the required lamp travel into a number of stages dependent on execution duration data sent with the position data, and calculates, for each stage, a new value for pan and tilt angles for the lamp. These values are passed to pan and tilt controlling co-processors which control servo-motors for pan and tilt operation. The lamp unit also incorporates a rotatable shutter for interrupting the lamp beam when required. The shutters of all the lamps in a system can be instructed from the remote console to open and close in synchronism, thereby providing a stroboscopic effect.
