  • Patent number: 10658080
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a method for monitoring behaviour of a patient in real-time. The method comprises receiving, by a patient monitoring device, data related to the patient from one or more sources. Thereafter, the patient monitoring device classifies the received data into one or more categories based on one or more rules. Further, the patient monitoring device correlates the categorized data to identify one or more activity patterns corresponding to the patient, wherein each of the one or more activity patterns are associated with an activity performed by the patient at predefined time intervals. The patient monitoring devices compares the activity pattern with predefined activity patterns and detects abnormal behaviour of the patient if the identified activity pattern is different from one or more predefined activity patterns corresponding to the patient.

  • Patent number: 10546098
Abstract: A claim valuation engine is provided. The claim valuation engine enables a healthcare provider to accurately value an expected reimbursement of a claim from a payer based on a contract between the healthcare provider and the payer. Contract terms, code sets, fee schedules, and other valuation data is input into the engine. The engine receives a claim from a healthcare provider information system, locates a contract applicable for valuing the claim, correlates the claim attributes with the contract terms according to a hierarchy, and determines an expected reimbursement for each claim attribute or group of attributes. The claim valuation engine is further operable to determine contractual allowances, determine under and overpayments by validating remittances, and to simulate valuation of a contract by valuing a claim based on multiple sets of contract terms. The engine is further operable to generate output reports and post results to the healthcare provider information system.

  • Patent number: 10531837
Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer-readable media are provided for identification of patients having an elevated near-term risk of chronic kidney disease progression, including quantitatively predicting whether or not an elevated risk of progression of Stage 3 or Stage 4 chronic kidney disease is likely within a time interval of up to 36 months subsequent to computing the prediction. Based on the prediction, appropriate care providers may be notified so that the risk of CKD progression may be mitigated. In some embodiments, serial measurements are obtained of urine osmolality, and a challenge with an AVP V2 antagonist and serum sodium concentration is provided. From a time series based on the serial measurements, estimates of each variable's velocity and/or doubling-time may be determined. These values then may be combined via a multivariable mathematical model for providing a leading indicator of near-term future abnormalities in kidney function.

  • Patent number: 10517514
Abstract: Introduced here are techniques for developing personalized retroactive insights into how contextual factors can affect glycemic responses. The personalized retroactive insights can be made available to the corresponding individual so that they can examine the impact certain contextual events have had on blood glucose level. A contextual event represents an activity or a circumstance that is related to glycemic response. Rather than state the absolute amount of certain molecules (e.g., carbohydrates, protein, or fat) in a foodstuff, an insight detection platform can instead interpret disparate data types to discover the effect certain contextual events have on blood glucose level.
