  • Patent number: 9298988
Abstract: An exemplary object detection method includes generating feature block components representing an image frame, and analyzing the image frame using the feature block components. For each feature block row of the image frame, feature block components associated with the feature block row are evaluated to determine a partial vector dot product for detector windows that overlap a portion of the image frame including the feature block row, such that each detector window has an associated group of partial vector dot products. The method can include determining a vector dot product associated with each detector window based on the associated group of partial vector dot products, and classifying an image frame portion corresponding with each detector window as an object or non-object based on the vector dot product. Each feature block component can be moved from external memory to internal memory once implementing the exemplary object detection method.

  • Patent number: 9278832
Abstract: A method of reducing computational demand for image tracking includes first receiving a plurality of images of a load hoisted with hanging wire in a preset transitional space, setting at least one monitoring point each at the load and the hanging wire, respectively, providing a tracking frame at the outer periphery of each monitoring point, allowing each tracking frame to track on its corresponding monitoring point that each monitoring point is kept on a relative location within each corresponding tracking frame, and producing the same displacement as that of the monitoring point, and lastly computing the displacement of each tracking frame thus obtaining the displacement of each monitoring point in correspondence to the tracking frame to calculate various displacement of the hanging wire and the load, respectively. With this image tracking method, the processing quantity of whole image data is effectively decreased and computational demand of equipments is reduced.

  • Patent number: 9277970
Abstract: A method and system for patient-specific planning and guidance of an ablation procedure for cardiac arrhythmia is disclosed. A patient-specific anatomical heart model is generated based on pre-operative cardiac image data. The patient-specific anatomical heart model is registered to a coordinate system of intra-operative images acquired during the ablation procedure. One or more ablation site guidance maps are generated based on the registered patient-specific anatomical heart model and intra-operative patient-specific measurements acquired during the ablation procedure. The ablation site guidance maps may include myocardium diffusion and action potential duration maps. The ablation site guidance maps are generated using a computational model of cardiac electrophysiology which is personalized by fitting parameters of the cardiac electrophysiology model using the intra-operative patient-specific measurements. The ablation site guidance maps are displayed by a display device during the ablation procedure.

  • Patent number: 9268994
Abstract: A unified framework detects and classifies people interactions in unconstrained user generated images. Previous approaches directly map people/face locations in two-dimensional image space into features for classification. Among other things, the disclosed framework estimates a camera viewpoint and people positions in 3D space and then extracts spatial configuration features from explicit three-dimensional people positions.

  • Patent number: 9208382
Abstract: Novel tools and techniques are described for identifying objects and/or persons. In one aspect, a method might comprise obtaining a digital image of an object(s) with a digital image recording device. The digital image may be transmitted to a remote computer system, and compared to multiple preexisting digital images using an image comparison software application running thereon. A set of preexisting digital images matching the digital image of the object(s) may be identified, and a (best match) keyphrase associated with the preexisting digital images may be determined. The keyphrase may be returned to a user computer for user confirmation or rejection. In some embodiments, a point cloud may be generated for each object in the image, and fitted with available 3D models, so as to confirm the keyphrase. In some embodiments, the confirmed keyphrase may be sent to a user computer for implementation in a cadastral survey application.

  • Patent number: 9177372
Abstract: Acquired mask data of a defect portion is sent to a simulated repair circuit 300 to be simulated. The simulation of the acquired mask data 204 is returned to the mask inspection results 205 and thereafter sent to a wafer transfer simulator 400 along with a reference image at the corresponding portion. A wafer transfer image estimated by the wafer transfer simulator 400 is sent to a comparing circuit 301. When it is determined that there is a defect in the comparing circuit 301, the coordinates and the wafer transfer image which is a basis for the defect determination are stored as transfer image inspection results 206. The mask inspection results 205 and the transfer image inspection result 206 are then sent to the review device 500.
