Abstract: Scheduling information for each of plural shifts of an on-call schedule is set based on user operation at design-time within an on-call scheduling user interface. The scheduling information includes an escalation path graphical outline having at least one escalation step element and a corresponding wait duration element. An escalation path associated with a current one of the plural shifts of the on-call schedule at run-time is executed in response to a predetermined condition being satisfied. An on-call user associated with the current one of the shifts is notified based on the escalation path. The escalation path is configured to make a first notification attempt to notify the on-call user based on a first attempt contact preference selected by the on-call user, and make a second notification attempt to notify the on-call user based on a second attempt contact preference selected by the on-call user.

Abstract: Embodiments are disclosed to detect whether an interaction has occurred between a customer and one or more store employees. By analyzing a how long a communication device used by the customer was within a threshold range of one or more devices worn by store employees, an interaction between the customer and one or more store employees may be identified. Employees whom the customer interacted with may be identified by processing transmission parameters broadcasted by the devices worn by the store employees. Thus, all employees in which a customer interacted with while visiting a store may be identified. The customer may be asked for feedback via the communication device upon detection that a customer has completed a transaction and/or left the store. Using the solicited feedback provided by the customer, various types of reports may be generated.

Abstract: A computing device for scheduling maintenance services for an earthmoving machine is disclosed. The computing device includes an input device configured to receive work hour input associated with work operations of the earthmoving machine and a visual display on board the earthmoving machine. The computing device further includes a processor configured to execute instructions for receiving the work hour input from the input device and determining current work hours associated with a completed maintenance service of the earthmoving machine based on the work hour input. The processor is further configured to execute instructions for presenting a user of the earthmoving machine, via the visual display, with one or more service interval rationalization options based on the current work hours and scheduling one or more subsequent planned maintenance services based on the one or more service interval rationalization options.

In addition to helping ensure accurate output results, the reprocessing operation selectively reprocesses information to avoid unnecessarily reprocessing every transaction. Additionally, embodiment of the compensation system allow parallel processing of current transactions and reprocessing operations using batch processing mechanisms. The transaction processing system can be implemented to perform a variety of transaction processing operations, such as processing of compensation related data.

The system may have at least one sensor disposed onboard the service vehicle and configured to generate a first signal indicative of a waste service being completed by the service vehicle. Examples of the storage objects include of a storage facility having multiple sites, one or more storage systems at a given site, storage pools in the storage systems, and logical volumes in the storage pools. Abstract: A system and method is provided for analyzing and fulfilling file requests within an organization, the file requests including multiple data items. The system and method includes storing delivered data items in at least one computer memory and executing instructions using at least one computer processor to perform multiple steps. The file request may be received over a network from a system user and analyzed to identify data items corresponding to the delivered data items. The request may then be cleansed by creating a delta list removing the data items corresponding to the delivered data items. The cleansed request may be transmitted for fulfillment to a fulfillment source. When a file corresponding to the fulfilled request is received, a response file combining the file corresponding to the received request with the data items corresponding to the delivered data items is created.

Abstract: A method, apparatus, and system for an interface for expanding logical combinations based on relative placement are provided. Logical combinations are built using a consistent logical layout specifying logical operators and order of operations based on direction of expansion and relative positions. The interface allows the user to add or move objects at specific positions relative to existing objects to select the logical operators for integrating the objects into the logical combination. Based on the specific pathway that the direction follows, an associated logical operator is selected to connect an existing object to the new or moved object. The logical combinations that are built in Visual Information Builder (VIB) can be automatically translated into corresponding business rule code for evaluation and execution by a rules engine.

Abstract: Methods and systems for predicting injury risk include generating state sequences that precede a hazard event based on information regarding a user's state. A cognitive suite of workplace hygiene and injury predictors (WHIP) is generated based on the state sequences using a processor. The cognitive WHIP predicts a degree of risk correlated with each particular user state sequence. An advantageous relationship between the user and one or more socially connected users is determined. An ameliorative action is triggered when a user enters a high-risk state based on the advantageous relationship to the one or more connected users and proximity of the user to one or more other users.

Abstract: Methods and systems for predicting injury risk include generating state sequences that precede a hazard event based on information regarding a user's state. Abstract: A method for defining a metropolitan area based on a regional inter-city flow intensity measurement model includes the following steps: 1. determining an urban agglomeration regional range to be measured and inter-city flow associated cities; 2. measuring, according to the determined associated cities, itemized regional inter-city flow intensities of each group of the associated cities; 3. calculating through weighing, according to the itemized regional inter-city flow intensity values, integrated inter-city flow intensities and membership degrees thereof between a central city and other associated cities; 4. recording the above data into an ArcGIS library, and establishing a regional inter-city flow database through association between spatial data and table data. 5. performing four groups of naturally intermittent type clustering analysis on data in the established regional inter-city flow database, and finally determining the range of a metropolitan area in a narrow sense and in a broad sense.
