  • Patent number: 10099933
Abstract: A process for the post-treatment of a zeolitic material having an MWW framework structure, the process comprising (i) providing a zeolitic material having an MWW framework structure, wherein the framework structure of the zeolitic material comprises X2O3 and YO2, wherein Y is a tetravalent element and X is a trivalent element and wherein the molar ratio X2O3:YO2 is greater than 0.02:1; (ii) treating the zeolitic material provided in (i) with a liquid solvent system thereby obtaining a zeolitic material having a molar ratio X2O3:YO2 of at most 0.02:1, and at least partially separating the zeolitic material from the liquid solvent system; (iii) treating the zeolitic material obtained from (ii) with a liquid aqueous system having a pH in the range of 5.5 to 8 and a temperature of at least 75° C.

  • Patent number: 10071341
Abstract: Methods for the combined elimination of both ammonia and lower alkanes and/or hydrogen, which are contained in one or more waste gas streams in an industrial plant, are disclosed herein. The method is effectuated by combined oxidation and reduction according to the reduction-oxidation process, wherein the ammonia and the lower alkanes and/or hydrogen are completely or partially reacted by chemical reaction to form nitrogen, carbon dioxide and water. The waste gas stream containing ammonia and lower alkanes and/or hydrogen is passed over one or more catalysts for the combined oxidation and reduction, and the oxygen content in the waste gas stream is set in such a way that ammonia and the lower alkanes and/or hydrogen are oxidized first in an oxidation zone to form nitrogen, carbon dioxide and water, and the nitrogen oxides resulting therefrom are subsequently reduced in a reduction zone to form elemental nitrogen.

  • Patent number: 10046275
Abstract: A heat recovery steam generator includes a gas inlet for receiving a flow of exhaust gas from a gas turbine, a gas outlet opposite the gas inlet and configured to transport the flow of exhaust gas to atmosphere, and a sorbent injection device intermediate the gas inlet and the gas outlet, the sorbent injection device including at least one injection port configured to inject a sorbent into the flow of exhaust gas. The sorbent is configured to react with an acid gas within the flow of exhaust gas to neutralize the acid gas and inhibit the formation of salt deposits.
