Abstract: A fast-accessible socket retainer mainly comprises a socket holder and at least a snap fastener, wherein the snap fastener further comprises: a main body having at least a through hole; a flexible buckling portion coupled to the main body; a depressing portion jointed to the buckling portion; at least a protruding part on the outer surface of the buckling portion; and a resilient member disposed between the depressing portion and the main body. When a wrench socket is collared onto a snap fastener, the protruding part of the buckling portion will be choked in a pit in the inner wall of a buckling concavity. The socket holder comprises a flexible bar and a holding means disposed at two ends of the flexible bar, wherein the flexible bar is arranged penetrating the through holes of the snap fasteners and fixed with the holding means for easy storing, collecting, or displaying of the wrench sockets.

Abstract: A carrying case has an elongated housing having a central and two end housing structures in overlapping, telescoping relationship so that the length of the carrying case can be adjusted. Hinges are connected to each housing with the hinge axes aligned so that the housings can be jointly rotated between open and closed positions without twisting the housing structures. Hinge alignment is possible by making the leaves of some hinges radially longer than the leaves of other hinges. Interengaging, load-bearing bosses are provided on the housing structures for adjustability to the length of the carrying case while providing strong connections, making it possible to use light weight material. Ribs and buttresses are molded as unitary parts of the central element and have an interengaging feature for reinforcement.

Abstract: A unitary plastic fastener clip comprising a plurality of individual fasteners which are disposed in a substantially parallel, side-by-side, spaced relationship. Each fastener comprises an elongated flexible filament having a first enlarged end and a second enlarged end. In one embodiment, each of the first enlarged end and the second enlarged end is a substantially cylindrical transverse bar. In another embodiment, the first enlarged end is a transverse bar of non-uniform transverse cross-section and the second enlarged end is a generally knob-shaped head. A first connector post connects the first enlarged end of the first fastener to the first enlarged end of the second fastener at the approximate midpoints of their mutually-opposing sides. A second connector post connects the second enlarged end of the first fastener to the second enlarged end of the second fastener at the approximate midpoints of their mutually-opposing sides.

Abstract: An assembly of stacked modular containers for handling, transporting and storing microscope specimen slides is described. The side walls of the rectangular-shaped containers have slide interconnections so that the containers may be longitudinally slid relative to one another. A releasable locking arrangement is provided on the extension of one of the other container walls to prevent unwarranted longitudinal sliding movement of the containers and to retain them in a secured stack formation. The extension of the container wall is made flexible to enable manual disengagement of locking members on the extension to thereby allow the sliding of containers for insertion or removal of slides into and from the containers.

Abstract: A disk magazine for accessing Compact Disks includes a bottom stage, a vertical shaft fixed and supported at the bottom stage, a prop-up piece being loaded with Compact Disks and having an opening through which the vertical shaft extends, a barrel tightly combined with the bottom stage at the lower end, and a lid tightly covering up the upper side of the bottom stage. The lid is provided with a fixing hole into which the tapering tip pole of the vertical shaft inserts, and two O-rings are used for sealing between the lid and barrel, as well as between the bottom stage and barrel respectively to prevent the disk magazine from the environmental contamination.

Abstract: A security container for holding an object includes a frame forming a storage chamber. The frame has an access opening for inserting and removing the object into and from the storage chamber. A lock mechanism is mounted on the frame and movable between locked and unlocked positions. The lock mechanism selectively blocks and unblocks the access opening. The locked mechanism includes at least one mechanically activated locking element and at least one magnetically activated locking element. Each of the locking elements includes a cantilevered locking finger that is movable between locked and unlocked positions. The magnetically activated locking finger is movable to the unlocked position through use of a magnet while the mechanically activated locking element is moved to the unlocked position through use of a pin. Each locking finger engages a blocking plate that is disposed on the sliding member of the locked mechanism.

Abstract: An improved egg tray is disclosed. The egg tray is comprised of a thin-walled body of rigid fiber pulp material and has a plurality of pockets and a plurality of posts. Each pocket has a bottom surrounded by a plurality of posts and each pocket has an egg-supporting surface for supporting an egg. The egg-supporting surface is a continuous part of a substantially ellipsoidal surface approximating the surface of the pointed part of an egg, and the pockets are within an egg size interval for which the egg tray is intended to be used. The egg-supporting surface has a continuous circular zone and a plurality of lower tongues extending downwardly from the continuous zone. Advantageously, the egg-supporting surface has a plurality of upper tongues extending upwardly on the sides of the posts from the continuous zone.

In order to improve the dimensional stability of the tray pack (12), upright corner supports 925, 26) which are angled in cross section are provided in the region of corners, the height of said corner supports corresponding approximately to the height of the individual packs or articles. A base wall (17) comprises base tabs, namely transverse tabs (18, 19) and longitudinal tabs (20, 21), which correspond, in shape and size, to recesses (29, 30) which are formed above the side walls (13 . . . 16) in conjunction with the corner supports (25, 26). This means that blanks for the tray pack (12) can be produced in a largely waste-free manner from a continuous material web.

Abstract: The present invention includes a peel-away protective cover to help prevent contamination of a connector prior to insertion into a radiation source delivery device. The protective cover comprises a top sheet and a bottom sheet that are sealed together to create a protective pouch within which a connector may be positioned. The top sheet and bottom sheet may be peeled away in a proximal to distal direction in order to expose the connector for insertion into a radiation source delivery device. The proximal to distal peel-away directs any contaminants present on the protective cover away from the exposed connector. In one embodiment, the protective cover may be completely peeled away from the connector. In another embodiment, the protective cover may be partially peeled away so that the separated top and bottom sheets shield the connection to the radiation source delivery device.
