Abstract: The present toothbrush display tray provides a way to display toothbrushes in a horizontal orientation in a stacked vertical array. The display tray comprises a plastic layer with a plurality of recesses. A toothbrush is held in each recess and a sheet of material overlays the plastic layer and closes the toothbrush holding recesses. There is a series of perforation, serrations and/or slits around each packaged toothbrush so that each packaged toothbrush can be removed individually. The display tray also can have an information section above the product section. The display tray is made by forming a plurality of recesses, each to hold a toothbrush. Each recess is filled with a toothbrush and a sheet of material overlayed on the plastic layer and bonded to the plastic layer.

Abstract: A storage and mixing capsule 10 for separately storing a pair of ingredients therein and providing a structure for efficiently and reliably mixing the ingredients to form an amalgam. The capsule has two components: a first receptacle 12 and a second receptacle 14. The first receptacle 12 includes an interior compartment 16 for receiving an alloy and includes a piercing element 24 attached to a portion of the inner wall 26. The second receptacle 14 includes an interior compartment 30 for receiving mercury. The second receptacle 14 further includes a rupturable seal 38 disposed across the open bottom end 36 of the second receptacle 14. The capsule 10 further includes a conduit 54 extending from the capsule 10 which is used as a passageway for air to move from the interior of the capsule 10 to the exterior of the capsule 10 or for an inert gas to move from the exterior of the capsule 10 to the interior of the capsule 10 to create an interior atmosphere which prevents the oxidization of amalgam components.

Abstract: A carton blank includes first and second spaced main panels and first and second side flaps abutting first and second side edges, respectively, of the first main panel. Third and fourth side flaps abut first and second side edges, respectively, of the second main panel and an intermediate panel is disposed between first ends of the first and second spaced main panels. A cover flap abuts a second end of the second main panel and a display flap includes first and second portions adjacent to one another wherein the first portion is joined to a second end of the first main panel by a score line and the second portion is joined to the second end of the first main panel by a perforated line collinear with the score line.

Abstract: A cigarette pack holder adapted to receive in combination a cigarette pack containing cigarettes. The holder includes a rectangularly-shaped housing having a planar front wall; an opposing rear wall; a pair of opposing planar side walls connected to the front and back walls; a planar base at one end of the housing; the walls and the base defining therebetween a chamber to receive the pack in removable engagement; an open-ended top at the other end of the housing through which the pack can operably pass into and out of the chamber; the base having portions defining an aperture of requisite shape and size to enable entry of a human digit to effect displacement of the pack within the chamber; and retaining structure connected to the rear wall adapted to be removably retained by an object worn by a person. The holder provides for the convenient and safe carrying of a pack of cigarettes by a person on the person's attire.

Abstract: A holder for holding and retaining a catheter during storage, shipping, and prior to use in a patient is described. The holder includes a first member and a second member attached to a central hub, the first and second members designed and configured to releasably retain the distal and proximal ends of the catheter. Also attached to the central hub is a plurality of retaining members for receiving and retaining the elongate catheter body in a coiled configuration.

Abstract: A security container for an item of recorded media includes features that prevent the security container from being torn open. The container includes a pair of flanges that extend out from an inset sidewall to cover the spine when the container is closed. The spine does not extend beyond the flanges such that no portion of the spine can be securely grasped. In another embodiment, the portions of the spine that extend beyond the sidewall are removed such that the spine extends only between the inset end walls of the sidewall.

Abstract: A disposable food bag for transporting and serving food is provided. The food bag comprises: a plastic inner liner, a resealable closure assembly such as a Ziploc type closure which a leak-proof seal for the plastic inner liner, a paper outer wrap, and a utensil bag attached to the outer wrap. This attachment may be perforated for easy removal of the utensil bag. The bag may be a variety of sizes for storage of service of a snack or a meal that may be heated and eaten with the utensils provided with the bag.

Abstract: The device for transporting, filling and sterilizing medicinal containers (3) includes a rigid foamed plastic carrier plate (1) provided with a plurality of first openings (2) for receiving the respective containers (3). The first openings have respective open cross-sections adapted to corresponding cross-sections of the containers and the rigid carrier plate (1) has a predetermined thickness, so that the containers (3) are clamped and held fixed in position relative to the carrier plate and centered in the first openings (2) without rattling so that no scratch marks and/or no static charges are produced on the medicinal containers (3) during transport. The rigid foamed plastic carrier plate (1) is provided with a pore-free sealed surface that facilitates sterilization. Second openings (20), which are smaller than the first opening (2) and cannot receive the containers, are also provided in the carrier plate to facilitate sterilization in an autoclave.

Abstract: A device for storing and holding compact discs with a holder member which carries a disc, and optionally, a jacket or other information identifying the disc, a tray in which one or more holder members are releaseably mounted for storing compact discs, the holder member having a body portion on which the disc is held and a flexible membrane connecting the body portion to a retaining member, the retaining member being secured in the tray, thereby permitting flipping of the holder member to facilitate identification and selection of a compact disc.

Abstract: A dental care kit assembly having a plurality of operative components such as one or more dental floss assemblies and a cleaning implement located within separated areas or compartments of a container. The container has a substantially flat, predetermined, reduced size configuration, closely corresponding to the size of a conventional credit card thereby enabling it to be conveniently carried on the person of a user. The reduced size container and the various components contained therein may be structured to be disposable after a single or a limited number of uses or alternatively may be of a more permanent structure capable of being used over a more extended period of time.

Abstract: A container system is provided for removing a needle portion from a needle holder of a needle system. The system includes a receptacle defining an opening, a lid configured to cover the receptacle opening, wherein the lid defines an aperture having a shape configured to receive a needle system having a first configuration. The system also includes an adapter configured for engagement in the lid aperture, wherein the adapter defines an aperture having a shape configured to receive a needle system having a second configuration, and wherein the engagement of the adapter in the lid aperture resists rotation of the adapter with respect to the lid.

Abstract: A flower sleeve, being a package for a bouquet of flowers, comprising a tube of a plastic film, open at a large end and sealed at an opposite smaller end. An opening is formed near the smaller end of the tube. One edge of a flap is adhered on an inside surface of the tube that closes off the opening when pressure is applied to the flap from inside the tube. A panel adhered to the outside of the tube forms a pocket over the opening. A pocket opening permits inserting the nozzle of a wand into the pocket to inject preservative gel through the opening into the region of the tube adjacent to the sealed end of the tube. Once the gel is injected into the tube, the flap on the inside of the tube functions like a oneway valve to prevent escape of the gel out of the tube through the opening.

Abstract: A shipping and/or display package for a disc. The package includes front and rear panels that are closed about the disc. Each of the first and second panels includes a disc-shaped embossed portion having a depth of approximately one half the thickness of the disc. The embossed regions cooperatively define a disc cavity that closely receives the disc. The front panel defines a window that permits viewing of the disc. The package further includes a transparent film extending over the window. The rear panel may include a plurality of die cut fingers positioned about the embossed region to aid in retaining the disc in the embossed region during packaging. The rear panel may also include a friction coating applied within the embossed region to further aid in retaining the disc in the embossed region during packaging.

Abstract: There is provided a cap for a contents mixer that is capable of, with a simple operation, storing a first contents and another contents in isolation from one another until they are needed, and of mixing the at least two contents together when necessary. To this end, a cap for the contents mixer is attached to an opening section of a container body. The cap comprises a cap main body with a first contents storage tube. The first contents storage tube having a thin bottom that is sealed, yet capable of being opened. The storage tube is suspended from a lower surface of a top wall of the cap main body. The first contents storage tube further is formed with an engagement section for attaching it to an opening section of the container main body at an inner surface. A cutting tube is also included with a blocked head section and the cutting tube has a flange section formed at an outer periphery of the head section.

Abstract: A container and a method of assembling a container which cleanly and conveniently disposes of used feminine products. The container is manufactured from a sheet, normally of paper treated to be water resistant. It is folded and sealed about itself to form a triangular container, with a wide opening along one side. The opening is sealed with a releasable sealing agent. Once used, the container can then be folded into a small, convenient package which can easily be carried in a purse, and disposed of at the user's convenience.

Abstract: A toothbrush sanitizing assembly having a detachable toothbrush and receptacle. The receptacle is preferably cylindrically shaped with a closed base, an open top and a sidewall that extends from the base to the top. A receptacle cover is an integral part of the toothbrush and is attached to the neck of the toothbrush. Mateable threads, a snap fit mechanism or other type of detachable fastening means are positioned near the top of the receptacle sidewall and on the receptacle cover. A hook is positioned at the distal end of the toothbrush handle and/or on the receptacle sidewall for hanging the assembly in a vertical position. A flat receptacle base also allows the assembly to be free standing on a flat surface. In use, the brush head is immersed in a liquid antiseptic contained in the receptacle by fastening the cover to the receptacle with the detachable fastening means.

Abstract: A single sheet of non-woven material is provided with sufficient strength and durability to store one or more compact discs without the necessity of laminating or otherwise interconnecting the non-woven sheet to a backing sheet or other materials for strength. The single sheet of non-woven material is positioned opposite the playing surfaces of the compact disc to provide a non-scratching, protective surface and to reduce the costs associated with manufacturing the sleeves used to store the CDs.

Abstract: A container is provided for receiving and holding individual rolls of wrapping paper. The container includes a surrounding sidewall structure, a bottom and an open top. Provided over the open top is an insert panel that includes a series of openings. Each opening is sized to receive and hold a roll of wrapping paper. Individual rolls of wrapping paper is stored within the container by inserting the rolls into and through the openings formed in the insert panel such that the individual rolls are extended inwardly into the confines of the container.

Abstract: A package for a product includes a base plate on which the product is disposed, and a bridge disposed on the base plate in overlying relationship to a first portion of the product. A lid is disposed in overlying relationship to a second portion of the product and is secured to the base plate by a sliding connection which guides the lid for limited sliding movement parallel to the base plate to expose the second portion of the product. The sliding connection constrains the lid against dislodgment from the base plate in a direction perpendicular to the base plate. An intermediate plate is disposed between the base plate and the lid and is arranged to prevent the sliding movement of the lid. The intermediate plate is formed of a tearable material, such as cardboard, wherein tearing of the intermediate plate releases the lid for the sliding movement.
