  • Patent number: 12222899
Abstract: A system and a method are disclosed for automatic content upload and process. The system retrieves a set of files from a source location based on instructions received from a client device of a user. The system then classifies the set of files into a plurality of categories corresponding to a sequence of one or more services configured to process or store files. The system then generates a data structure storing key values, where the key values are derived based on respective processing of subsets of files. Responsive to receiving an input to execute logic relating to the set of files, the system determines that the input is associated with one or more of the key values, retrieves the one or more of the key values, and executing the logic using the one or more retrieved key values.

  • Patent number: 12189695
Abstract: A method for providing one or more random sample documents from a corpus of documents using a search engine is provided. The providing of each of the random sample documents comprises selecting randomly a time window from a set of time windows. A search query is sent to the search engine defining a search for documents of the corpus with time-stamps within the time window defined by the randomly selected time window. In response to the sending of the search query, a search result is receiving from the search engine. The search result comprises a set of the documents of the corpus with time-stamps within the time window. One of the documents comprised by the received set of documents is then selected randomly.

  • Patent number: 12164584
Abstract: The present disclosure provides a computing device and method for providing personal specific information based on semantic queries. The semantic queries may be input in a natural language form, and may include user specific context, such as by referring to prior or future events related to a place the user is searching for. With the user's authorization, data associated with prior or planned activities of the user may be accessed and information from the accessed data may be identified, wherein the information is correlated with the user specific context. One or more query results are determined based on the identified information and provided for output to the user.

  • Patent number: 12164539
Abstract: The disclosure relates to methods and systems of joining data structures based on a composite similarity score (CSS). For example, a computer system may use a plurality of similarity models to generate respective similarity scores. Each similarity score may be a metric that indicates a confidence that a first data value of a first data record is similar to a second data value of a second data record. The computer system may generate the CSS based on the plurality of similarity sub-scores. The CSS may indicate a confidence that the records being compared are similar. Thus, the CSS may be used to detect similar data records across different data structures. The disclosure also relates to a string similarity model that detects similarity among strings without respect to an order of words in each string and in a way that tolerates errors or omissions in one or both strings.

  • Patent number: 12032575
Abstract: Aspects of the current subject matter are directed to providing query results to clients by incorporating pause and/or detach operations into the query execution after a first fetch of results. The pause and the detach operations for query execution consistent with implementations of the current subject matter result in reduced times and conserved resources in providing query results by computing only results necessary to satisfy a first fetch call prior to computing results necessary to satisfy subsequent fetch calls.

  • Patent number: 11977510
Abstract: For processing nodes of a cluster of a file server, the IO modules associated with the nodes may be required to be part of a same sub-network. A cluster may be configured to ensure that, for each cluster processing node, at least one other cluster processing node is associated with an IO module on a same sub-network as the IO module associated with the cluster processing node. The user may configure a file server to ensure that a primary node and one or more failover nodes of the file server are on a same sub-network. When configuring IO modules, physical ports having similar or same characteristics may be configured to be on a same sub-network. By doing so, and restricting nodes of a file server to being on a same sub-network, a relatively seamless failover between nodes of a file server may be achieved.

  • Patent number: 11914622
Abstract: Methods and apparatus are disclosed for efficient factor analysis of a large population of data records, using factors that are categorical variables. Computation is balanced between extracting key factors by training a machine learning classifier on a reduced sample of data records, for computational efficiency, and scoring the categorical values of the key factors on the entire population, for accuracy of results. A joint factor is constructed by combining all proposed root factors, and the sample is generated by stratified sampling on the joint factor. The key factors are selected from candidate factors which can be combinations of the root factors. Original variables of a dataset, whether categorical or not, can be binned to obtain new categorical factors. Variations and user interfaces are also disclosed.

  • Patent number: 11914642
Abstract: The present technology can detect potential labeling conflicts made during different labeling tasks when those tasks are checked in to ensure that a map database is free from conflicts that might interrupt publishing of a map. The present technology can determine whether a first labeled version of map portion is based on a most recent version for the map portion that is stored in the map database, and when it is determined that it is not, and there is an intervening version, the present technology can identify differences between the intervening version of the map portion and the first version of the map portion and identify differences between the second version of the map portion and the first version of the map portion. Based on the identified differences, the present technology can determine whether any of those differences are conflicting.
